Abstract

Increasing the use of space in the multi-storey buildings is self-requirement for the owner in making the most of function of the building. The Langsa City Hospital Operating Building with structural height of +10 meters and has two floors, with the existing part of the 2nd floor not fully designed a closed room. Currently, according to the owner's request, the function of this building is being utilized to be used as a first-floor room as an operating room, while the second floor is intended as a storage room and hall. Based on that, it is necessary to estimate against the appropriate and efficient method of slab work so that to be sure the project objectives are achieved. This paper aims to analyze the comparison between the use of steel deck and conventional deck to the study sites based on cost and time. The research method used begins with collecting field data, calculating the budget plan referring to the Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) contained in the contract document, then estimating the implementation time using the labor coefficient according to the 2016 AHSP. The results showed that there was a difference in the budget for the two deck slabs of Rp. 28,616,000. In addition, in terms of the duration of the completion of the work, the difference between the calculation of the estimated implementation of the conventional deck work and the realization of the implementation of the steel deck is 39 working days. Based on the results obtained, the use of steel deck is cheaper and more time efficient than the use of conventional deck. So that the selection of the use of steel deck at the study site is appropriate because it can save costs and time.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBudidaya perikanan air tawar yang dilakukan pada budidaya intensif ataupun semi intensif sering menyisakan permasalahan terutama dalam hal pengelolaan limbah hasil budidaya tersebut. Limbah yang budidaya perikanan memiliki beberapa komponen penting yang sangat diperlukan oleh tanaman terutama tanaman hortikultura seperti sayuran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh kelompok masyarakat pembudidaya ikan lele terutama dalam mengolah limbah menjadi pupuk cair organik. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan pada kelompok petani budidaya ikan lele secara semi intensif di Desa Seulalah Baru, Kecamatan Langsa Lama, Kota Langsa yang berjumlah 40 orang peserta. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu analisa situasi mitra, identifikasi masalah, penetuan tujuan, pendekatan sosial dan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang meliputi analisis jumlah dan kontinuitas limbah, penanaman tanaman sayuran, sistem pengambilan limbah, packing, penyimpanan dan metode penambahan zat tumbuh. Pelaksanaan pengabdian memperoleh hasil berupa pemahaman sebesar 95%:5% terhadap petani budidaya lele terutama dalam membudidaya ikan lele secara baik, dapat membuat pupuk cair secara mandiri, mengetahui model pemasaran pupuk cair organik, dan adanya suatu usaha baru yakni pupuk cair organic. Pengabdian yang dilakukan secara langsung kepada masyarakat terutama petani budidaya lele akan mengubah perilaku dan sistem budidaya dengan memanfaakan semua hasil budidaya menjadi produk yang bernilai jual. Kata kunci: desa seulalah baru; sayuran; inovasi; limbah budidaya; pengelolaan. ABSTRACTFreshwater aquaculture which is carried out in intensive or semi-intensive cultivation often leaves problems, especially in terms of managing the waste from the cultivation. Waste from aquaculture has several important components that are needed by plants, especially horticultural crops such as vegetables. This service aims to solve the problems faced by catfish cultivating community groups, especially in processing waste into organic liquid fertilizer. The service activity was carried out in a semi-intensive catfish farming farmer group in Seulalah Baru Village, Langsa Lama District, Langsa City, with a total of 40 participants. In carrying out the service the stages carried out are analysis of partner situations, problem identification, goal setting, social approach and implementation of activities which include analysis of the amount and continuity of waste, planting vegetable crops, waste collection systems, packing, storage and methods for adding growing substances. The implementation of the service obtained results in the form of an understanding of 95%:5% for catfish farming farmers, especially in cultivating catfish properly, being able to make liquid fertilizer independently, knowing the marketing model of organic liquid fertilizer, and the existence of a new business, namely organic liquid fertilizer. Service that is carried out directly to the community, especially catfish farming farmers, will change the behavior and cultivation system by utilizing all the results of cultivation into products that are of sale value. Keywords: seulalah baru village; vegetables, innovation; cultivation waste; management.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital representation that has transformed the way the construction industry operates through the digitalization and digital data management. This advancement digitalization is also supported by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) through Ministerial Regulation number 22/PRT/M/2018, which mandates the use of BIM methods in the construction of state buildings with more than two floors. The BIM Implementation Policy in PUPR infrastructure development, published by the Research and Development Center for Policy and Technology Application in 2019. The success of construction projects is determined by the accuracy of quality, time, and cost, both in the planning and construction stages. The research object is the multi-story lecture building of the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Samudra. The study was conducted by modeling the building structure using Tekla Structures, then comparing the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) generated by the BIM concept with the BOQ calculated manually. Data were obtained from the planning documents Detail Engineering Design (DED) and BOQ by the Planning Consultant, referring to the SNI 2847:2019 standard Requirements for Structural Concrete for Buildings. The research results show that the comparison of BOQ work using the BIM method on structural components produced a concrete volume of 432.20 m³ (97.26%), a deformed bar weight of 44,138.38 kg (90.49%), and a plain bar weight of 37,023.87 kg (97.09%) of the planned calculation. The differences obtained are due to the different calculation methods in BIM, manual calculation errors (human error), and rebar detailing calculations using general equations.

Abstract

This social contribution with the theme "Ecokids: Green Adventures Towards a Better Environment" was the result of the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM). The community service activities were a real-life implementation of knowledge and experience of the Nusantara Module course. The PMM Batch 4 Inbound students at Samudra University, specifically group 1 “Seumantok” chose an elementary school as the community partner to carry out their service. From the initial survey conducted at school, some students did not understand the importance of environmental awareness and had low knowledge of sorting waste. The participants were 3rd grade elementary school students. The method used was by conducting education with presentations in class and using flip book learning media, games, and open discussions with the students. The results found that grade 3 students were able to learn about awareness and concern for keeping the environment cleaner. Apart from that, students were quite enthusiastic and could sort waste according to the type of waste, namely organic waste and inorganic waste.

Abstract

The Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) Batch 4 requires students to participate in community social contribution activities with their lecturers. The author took the theme of this activity to be related to learning media in schools. One activity that can be carried out is supporting teaching activities in the Social Science Subject, namely introducing the islands of the archipelago. Indonesia is an archipelagic country with various islands and strategic areas. Indonesia's geographic location is in southeast Asia, bordering Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, the Philippines and the South China Sea. Because of this geographical position and location, Indonesia is a huge country experiencing the expansion of provinces. As per its development, Indonesia has 38 provinces spread from Sabang to Merauke. This social contribution activity aims to introduce and disseminate educational and interesting learning media to students about the Province and the beautiful islands in Indonesia. This service method uses teaching materials in the form of interactive Pop-up Books. The learning media presented also includes media with 3-dimensional visualisation so that students can increase their motivation to learn related subjects. This activity was conducted for elementary school teacher participants and 4th-grade students. At the end of the activity, it is hoped that participants will always be aware of developments in Indonesian geographical map material with interesting learning.

Abstract

Abstrak Produksi padi di Aceh menjadi salah satu komoditas utama pada sektor pertanian dan telah dikenal memiliki kualitas yang baik. Hal ini dikarenakan karakteristik beras Aceh memliki ciri khas yaitu lebih wangi dan pulen. Namun, produksi padi di beberapa wilayah Aceh, termasuk Desa Seunebok Punti, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang menghadapi tantangan besar akibat serangan hama, terutama hama putih palsu (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis). Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan petani dalam penerapan Pengelolaan Hama Terpadu (PHT) melalui pembuatan dan penggunaan pestisida nabati dari bahan alami. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi tiga tahapan utama, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Dalam proses pelatihan, para petani diajarkan cara meracik pestisida nabati menggunakan bahan-bahan seperti daun sirsak, daun pepaya, cabai dan rempah lainnya yang dicincang dan dihaluskan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan petani mengenai pengendalian hama yang ramah lingkungan, serta pengurangan penggunaan pestisida berbahan kimia sintetis. Sebanyak 90% peserta kegiatan berhasil memahami materi dan menunjukkan kemampuan dalam menerapkan teknik PHT. Program ini diharapkan dapat mendukung keberlanjutan pertanian di Aceh, khususnya dalam meningkatkan produksi padi secara lebih organik dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini juga berpotensi untuk diterapkan secara berkelanjutan oleh petani melalui dukungan program desa dan pemerintah daerah. Kata kunci: hama; serangga; pestisida nabati; daun sirsak; daun papaya. AbstractRice production is one of the main commodities in the agricultural sector in Aceh and has been known good quality. The rice have distinctive characteristics, more fragrant and fluffier. However, rice production in several areas of Aceh, including Seunebok Punti Village, faces major challenges due to pest attacks especially white pests (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis). The aimed of this service is to improve farmers' understanding in implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) through the manufacture and using botanical pesticides. The methods used include three main stages: socialization, training, and evaluation. In the training process, farmers was taught how to mix botanical pesticides using some ingredients such as soursop and papaya leaves, and other spices. The evaluation results shows a significant increase in farmers' knowledge regarding environmental pest control, as well as reducing the use of synthetic chemical pesticides. As many as 90% of participants in the activity managed to understand and demonstrated the ability to apply IPM techniques. With a focus on growing rice production in a more organic and ecologically friendly manner, this program is anticipated to enhance Aceh's agriculture's sustainability. It also has the potential to be implemented sustainably through the support of local governments. Keywords: pests; insects; botanical pesticides; soursop leaves; papaya leaves.

Abstract

The Krueng Langsa River in Aceh often faces landslide problems due to natural erosion, human activities, and changes in river flow. This study aims to design a landslide mitigation system using geobags as a control technology on the Krueng Langsa Riverbank. Geobags, bags made of geotextiles filled with materials such as sand, are systematically installed to reinforce river banks. Primary data was obtained through field surveys, while secondary data was taken from related stakeholders, including regional maps and elevation data. The results of the study show that the installation of geobags along the 295 meters of the Krueng Langsa River bank can reduce the risk of landslides. The total calculation of the need for geobags reaches 9,440 units, which are designed to withstand flooding and strengthen cliff structures. In conclusion, geobags are an effective temporary solution in resisting erosion and waterlogging. This study recommends the development of permanent infrastructure for sustainable landslide control.

Abstract

Langsa Baro District is an area that often experiences floods and a lot of uneven elevation in the area so that land movement can be possible. This study aims to analyze the parameters that affect soil movement and make a zoning map of the level of vulnerability of land movement using spatial data in Langsa Baro District. Data processing with GIS (Geographic Information System) is intended to obtain soil movement mapping. To help determine the weight score on each parameter, this study used the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. Factors that greatly influence the occurrence of soil movement that occurs in Langsa Baro District are soil type and rainfall. The Langsa Baro District area has five levels of vulnerability, namely the level of vulnerability of very low soil movement with a percentage of 0.26% and area of 17.02 Ha, the level of vulnerability of low soil movement with a percentage of 3.58% and an area of 234.02 Ha, the level of vulnerability of medium soil movement with a percentage of 18.42% and an area of 1204.22 Ha, the level of vulnerability of high soil movement with a percentage of 73.74% and an area of 4819.54, the level of vulnerability of soil movement is very high with a percentage of 4.00% and an area of 261.26 Ha.

Abstract

Bendungan merupakan konstruksi yang dibangun untuk penyediaan pasokan air. Bendungan Keuliling berperan penting dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan air. Selain memberikan manfaat, bendungan juga memiliki potensi risiko yang perlu diantisipasi. Untuk itu, diperlukan analisis hasil pengamatan instrumentasi pada Bendungan Keuliling yang berdampak pada pemeliharaan bendungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder sebagai dasar analisis hasil pengamatan instrumentasi. Tujuan analisis adalah untuk menentukan nilai komponen hasil pengamatan instrumentasi menggunakan indeks kondisi pada Bendungan Keuliling. Penilaian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi kerusakan pada komponen bendungan, lalu dilakukan penilaian skor indeks kondisi sesuai dengan tingkat kerusakan yang ditemukan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa indeks kondisi untuk komponen hasil pengamatan instrumentasi bendungan berada pada nilai 4, yang termasuk dalam kategori kerusakan ringan. Nilai ini menggambarkan kondisi terkini komponen hasil pengamatan instrumentasi bendungan dan menjadi acuan penting dalam melakukan pemeliharaan guna menjaga pemeliharaan bendungan.

Abstract

Limbah serbuk kayu biasanya cenderung dibuang, namun dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mesin hydraulic press sederhana HYPRESSA maka dimungkinkan untuk diolah menjadi papan partikel. Penggunaan hydraulic press yang dirancang untuk papan partikel berukuran 40x40 cm dengan tebal 1,2 cm agar papan partikel yang dihasilkan dapat dibentuk menjadi produk yang berguna. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memanfaatkan limbah serbuk kayu menjadi produk bernilai jual sehingga meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dengan rancang bangun mesin hydraulic press sederhana. Adapun Metode pelaksanaan PKM dilakukan yaitu: (1) Pembuatan Mesin Hydraulic Press; (2)Pembuatan Papan Partikel dari Limbah Serbuk Kayu; (3)Sosialisasi kepada Mitra dan beberapa pemilik usaha panglong kayu di sekitar mitra terkait proses pembuatan Papan serbuk kayu menggunakan mesin hydraulic press; (4) Pendampingan kepada masyarakat desa terkait olahan produk menjadi papan partikel, dan (5) Evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan ini diperoleh masyarakat mengetahui serbuk kayu menjadi papan partikel yang selanjutnya dapat diolah menjadi produk kerajinan tangan.
