Abstract

Improving performance is very important for an organization to face a rapidly changing environment. Performance is an organizational barometer to determine the achievements that have been realized. Statistics Indonesia performance achievement is the achievement of the indicators of strategic objectives in the current year. There are four strategic goals that become BPS performance targets. Three of the four strategic goals have not been able to be realized by Statistics Indonesia throughout the Province of Bali. This condition is reflected in the average achievement value which has not reached 100 percent. Based on some of the results of previous studies, this research analyzes how motivation and transformational leadership have a direct effect on employee performance and an indirect effect on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) mediation. The results obtained from data analysis using CB-SEM through Lisrel 10.2 software are motivation influencing OCB but not influencing employee performance, transformational leadership influencing OCB and employee performance, OCB influencing employee performance, OCB mediating the effect of motivation on employee performance, and OCB mediates the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the relationship between competitiveness in basic sectors and economic development inequality on economic growth in Jambi Province. The method used in this research is a qualitative and quantitative descriptive method using secondary data during the 2000-2021 period. Data analysis in this study used the RCA method and Granger causality. The research results show that the industrial sector and mining sector have a causal relationship with economic growth in Jambi Province, while other sectors do not.

Abstract

The emergence of the internet today changed the way people communicate. The internet continues to show its intelligence and sophistication through updates from time to time to make it easier for humans to improve their capabilities and support all activities they carry out every day. This study aims to determine the relationship between product diversity, brand image and consumer trust in purchasing decisions through purchase intentions such as the Shopee Marketplace. This study used a quantitative approach by taking 125 samples in the Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta University students. Selected by using purposive sampling technique. Questionnaire data collection methods and literature studies related to the indicators used. This study shows that product diversity has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention.

Abstract

Building marketing communications is certainly one of the important aspects that must be considered in doing business. However, in communicating also needed a good strategy to support this success. This is also driven by the times that make business people must be able to take advantage of communication facilities both through offline and online or commonly called digital marketing. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of marketing communication strategies carried out by Branding.in as a creative digital agency in Samarinda to increase the number of clients and run digital marketing in an effort to build branding or promote clients' products/brands, as well as find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in Branding.in during marketing communications. This research was carried out with a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques carried out by interviews, observations, and documentation, as well as sampling techniques using purposive sampling with 3 informants. The data analysis technique of this study uses analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman, and the validity of the data uses triangulation. The results of this study show that Branding.in use elements of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) which include advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, interactive marketing, and public relations. These five elements are indeed carried out but need to be maximized even more in the future. Then, Branding.in also applies the points of the 7P Service Marketing Mix consisting of product, place, promotion, price, people, physical evidence, and process as its marketing communication strategy. Then, in carrying out marketing communications, Branding.in have supporting factors consisting of brand and product quality, as well as inhibiting factors in terms of human resources (HR).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reward and punishment on performance with work motivation as an intervening variable.The variables in the study consisted of 2 independent variables, namely reward and punishment, 1 dependent variable, namely performance, and 1 intervening variable, namely motivation.The number of samples in this study were 91 respondents who are permanent employees of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk.Determination of the number of samples using the slovin formula.Data obtained by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale.Data processing uses Structural Equation Modeling analysis with SmartPLS.The data analysis technique consists of the Outer Model test and the Inner Model test.The results of the study show that 1) Reward has a significant and positive effect on performance.2) Reward has a significant and positive effect on motivation.3) Punishment has no significant and negative effect on performance.4) Punishment has a significant and positive effect on motivation.5) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance 6) Motivation is able to mediate rewards on performance 7) Motivation is able to mediate punishment on performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the work environment, work motivation, work discipline and employee performance at the Jambi Province Transportation Service and to analyze the effect of the work environment and work motivation partially and simultaneously directly and indirectly on work discipline and employee performance, as well as to analyze work discipline on employee performance. To answer the research objectives, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely work environment, work motivation, work discipline, and performance. In addition, the authors also look for relevant previous research in the form of previous articles/journals and theses to support this research. The population in this study were employees of the Jambi Province Transportation Service, totaling 61 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this study was through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis test carried out, it was found that the work environment and work motivation have an influence on work discipline and employee performance, both directly and indirectly. This explains that if the organization has a good work environment and the better the work environment then this will further improve employee discipline towards the organization and provide maximum work results.

Abstract

This study attempts to investigate how audit quality, business size, and voluntary disclosure influence the cost of equity capital. Uses stock quotes from the Yahoo Finance website from 2018 to 2020 and annual reports from the website IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange), this kind of study is quantitative in nature. Purposive sampling is the sampling approach used, and provides a sample of 107 business data using secondary data. Data processing using SPSS 24, as well as data analysis techniques in the form of multiple linear regression analysis. According to processing findings in this study, audit quality has an adverse impact on the price of equity capital. The cost of equity capital is not affected by the optional disclosure variables at the same time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the commitment, motivation, work environment and performance of the sub-district office of Maro Sebo Ulu, Batanghari Regency. Then to analyze the influence of commitment, motivation, work environment and performance of the sub-district office of Maro Sebo Ulu, Batanghari Regency, then analyze the influence of the work environment on teacher performance, then analyze the effect of commitment and motivation through the work environment on performance. This research is a research using descriptive and verification research methods, namely a method in examining a group of people, an object, situation and condition of a system of thought with the aim of making a description, a systematic picture according to the facts being investigated. The verification research aims to test the hypothesis about the influence of the variables in this study. This research involved 57 employees and from the entire population were taken as respondents in this study totaling 56 employees in the Maro Sebo Ulu sub-district except for the leadership or the head of the Service. Data were analyzed using SPSS.22. The results showed that commitment was in neutral conditions, motivation was in good condition, work environment was good and performance was also good, that commitment and motivation simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant effect on the work environment, commitment and motivation simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant effect on performance and work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the sub-district office of Maro Sebo Ulu, Batanghari Regency.

Abstract

This study utilizes descriptive quantitative methods with the objective of measuring the performance of higher education institutions from the perspective of employee green behavior. The measurement instrument employed was a questionnaire consisting of eight questions, which was distributed to 300 respondents. The responses provided by the participants were converted into an index using a scale range of 1-3. The resulting index serves as the foundation for researchers to determine whether the organizational performance falls within the 'high' category or ‘low’. The respondents consisted of lecturers from six universities in the Province of Gorontalo. The number of respondents was determined through purposive sampling, and the selection process was conducted randomly. The study's findings indicate that employee engagement in environmentally friendly behavior has a positive impact on organizational performance. However, the study also reveals that university performance does not exhibit a positive trend when evaluated from the perspective of employee green behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of work facilities, competencies, work motivation, and employee performance at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. To determine the direct and indirect effects of work facilities and competence on employee motivation at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. To determine the direct and indirect effects of work facilities and competence on employee performance at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. To determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. To determine the effect of work facilities and competence through work motivation on employee performance. The type of data obtained in this study uses quantitative data sourced from primary data obtained by conducting research and questionnaires, secondary data can be obtained by reading, studying and understanding through other media sourced from literature and library books or data from companies related to the research. In this research, the object of research is employees of PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. Work Facilities and Competence simultaneously affect the motivation of employees of PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. Work Facilities and Competence partially have a positive and significant impact on Motivation. Work Facilities and Competence simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. Work Facilities and Competence partially have a significant effect on performance. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Jambi Branch. The suggestions put forward should be for the leader to play an active role by providing special attention accompanied by rewards so that the work process undertaken gives good results.
