Abstract

Abstract: The library of University of Jember (UNEJ) has implemented ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) since 2008. The implementation of ISO 9001:2008 QMS is by increasing the quality of product, service, and employee performance. Therefore, this research aims to significantly analyze the direct influence of ISO 9001:2008 on work environment, work discipline, and employee performance, and the indirect influence of ISO 9001:2008 implementation on employee performance through work environment and work discipline. The sample of this explanatory research consists of 50 respondents, i.e., the employees of UNEJ library. Data were analyzed using path analysis run with SPSS 18. Results show that the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 has a positive and significant influence on work environment, employee discipline, and employee performance; work environment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; and work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Abstract

Act No. 6 of 2014 allows village government to be more independent in managing its government system and resources, including its financial and asset management. Village fund allocation sourced from the local government budget of Banyuwangi Regency was increased from Rp 83 billion in 2016 to Rp 148.6 billion in 2017. Village fund from the central government was also increased to Rp 172 billion in 2017. To maintain local budget management, Banyuwangi Government initiated e-village budgeting, a financial application software as an integrated online village budgeting. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The units of analysis are Sembulung Village in Cluring District and Jajag Village in Gambiran District, Banyuwangi. Primary and secondary data were sourced from literature study, depth interview, and direct observation using purposive sampling technique. The results show that before implementing e-village budgeting, the village fund management was high in cost and inefficient. The financial statements will automatically be generated by the e-village budgeting system. This system makes financial management easier to perform and is more accountable. As a result, the village fund was used effectively to increase local people’s prosperity and quality of life. Keywords: E-village Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Village Fund, Banyuwangi Regency

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance based on individual characteristics, which include gender, age, marital status, and work experience. Population of the research is all employees of production division. All empoyees are used as the respondents. Results show that organizational commitment influences employee performance. Individual characteristic causes the differences in employee performance is marital status, while gender, age, and work experience do not cause differences in organizational commitment. Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are to determine whether the ratioCAELS affects the stock returns and whether the stock returns of government banks are better than stock returns of private banks. This research used secondary data generated from audited financial statements from 2010 to 2012.The sample consisted of 16 banks. Results of the t-tests showed that not all of the variables used in this study influenced the stock returns.Stock returns of government banks in 2010, 2011, and 2012 were higher than the private bank stock returns. Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the feasibility of the investment plan. The data used were primary data that consisted of the data of investment planning and cash flow estimation data for the upcoming period, and secondary data generated from the company's financial data. Investment valuation methods used are the discounted payback period, net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), modified rate of return (MIRR), profitability index (PI), and transfer pricing. Results of analysis show that the discounted payback period is less than 3 years, NPV is Rp. 441.032.525, IRR is 56.2%, MIRR is 47.9%, PI is 1.7, and the cost calculation of company’s own production and price transfers shows that the company’s own production (investment in new machines) is more profitable. According to the project acceptance criteria, the results of the analysis indicate that the investment plan of PTSPT is feasible. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of training and discipline and work environment on performance through employee morale at PT. Adira Finance in Jember. The variables in this study include X1 = effectiveness of the training, X2 = labor discipline, X3 = work environment as independent variables, Z = morale as an intervening variable and Y = performance as the dependent variable. The method of data analysis is the analysis of the path (path analysis) with a significance level (α) = 5%. Testing was conducted by using the classical assumption test and test hypotheses. The sample in this study amounted to 50 people. This study used a technique stratitifed proportionate random sampling (random sampling proportionally according to the stratification). The results show the effectiveness of training (X1), labor discipline (X2), and the work environment (X3), has a significant effect on morale (Z), the effectiveness of training (X1), labor discipline (X2), and the work environment (X3), has a significant effect on performance (Y), and morale (Z) has a significant effect on performance (Y). Abstract

Abstract : Status can bank said liquidity problems at the time of NPL greater than 5%. NPL shows that the ability of bank management to manage problem loans granted by banks.Liquidity problems are very likely to occur in the BPR. Prior to the bankruptcy, it needs to be known in advance about the financial state of the banking system. This study aims to assess the financial ratios in CAMEL can be used to analyze the probability of BPR in Jember experiencing liquidity problems or not. This research is explanatory research with census approach, which is to examine opportunities liquidity difficulties at BPR in Jember based on information published financial statements BPR. From the results of the study showed that the financial ratios that can analyzed probability BPR in Jember likely experiencing liquidity problems that APYDTAP, ROA and LDR the first quarter before. BPR in Jember can be detected experiencing liquidity difficulties during the first quarter before.Keywords: liquidity problems, CAMEL, BPR

Abstract

Abstract : Nurse of dr. Soebandi Hospital as duty bearers geared towards improving the quality of human resources, and the result will have an impact on job performance. Job performance a good nurses is a desirable thing in every hospital, due to the good performance, the hospital will achieve the goals effectively and efficiently. The determining factor to improve achievement nurses is satisfaction of work and motivation. In this research, the population was all the nurse civil servants in dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember, some 194 people from each strata is taken proportionately sample size with the total sample who was elected 131 nurses with a leeway 5 % using Slovin opinion. The sample collection in this study was conducted using stratified random sampling. To test the instruments used in extracting the data in this research, it is necessary to test the validity and reliability of the instrument with the methods of analysis data normality test, and path analysis. The results of the analysis are: (1) motivation has direct and significant impact on job satisfaction of nurses at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (2) the career development has direct and significant impact on job satisfaction of nurses at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (3) motivation has direct and significant impact on the nurses performance at dr. Soebandi Hospital, Jember; (4) the career development has direct and significant impact on the nurses performance at dr. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of location, brand image, and service quality on student satisfaction in Universitas Jember. This was an explanatory research. Data were collected in December 2016. The study population was undergraduate students in the Faculty of Medicines, Universitas Jember. The Faculty of Medicines was selected because it had the largest number of registrants while the quota for the accepted students was very limited. The total number of the Faculty of Medicines’ students in 2015/2016 was 85 (eighty five). The sample consisted of 96 (ninety six) respondents because all undergraduate students batch 2015/2016 were used as the sample. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this study was to identify the internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) factors influencing the marketing of Forte Herbal Rice and to formulate alternative marketing strategies that can be used by CV. An Nahlahas the seller. The sampling method used was convenience sampling with a sample size of 32 (thirty two) respondents. The analysis tool used is the Strenghts Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (SWOT) analysis. Using external internal matrix approach, CV. An Nahlah should apply a growth strategy. The SWOT analysis resulted in 5(five) main marketing strategies, i.e., lowering product prices, increasing thepromotion activities, optimizing social media to support promotion, supplying products to the stores located near to consumers, maintaining the stock of the product for the emerging market.
