Abstract

Abstract: This research is an empirical study on main sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2014. The objective of the research is to analyze and to measure the effect of foreign ownership structure, institutional ownership structure, and managerial ownership structure on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. Data were collected using purposive sampling technique. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data, applying Eviews 8.0. Findings of the study show that the average score of the foreign ownership structure, institutional ownership structure, managerial ownership structure, and CSR disclosure has different changes on each company. Research findings also show that foreign ownership structure, institutional ownership structure, and managerial ownership structure, partially, have significant effects on the disclosure of CSR. Foreign ownership structure, institutional ownership structure, and managerial ownership structure also, simultaneously,have significant effects on CSR disclosure. Abstract

Abstract: The Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a program designed to balance the company’s economic profits and its contribution to the economy, social, community, and environment. Food and beverage companies have a high production level that produces waste harmful of the people's lives. Public needs the information to what extent the company runs its CSR activities so the people’s right to live safely and healthily, the employee welfare, and the product safety is met. If the community perceives that the company neglects the social and environmental aspects, has no contribution to the community, and even causes a negative impact, it will lead to community resistance. Therefore, the disclosure of a company’s CSR activities is crucial. The research population was all manufacturing companies in food and beverages sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2015. There were 14 companies registered in 2012-2015 with the number of observations consisted of 56 companies’ annual reports. The sample was taken using purposive sampling method. Results show that profitability, company size, and public ownership have a significant effect on the level of CSR disclosure, while leverage and commissioners have no significant effect on the level of CSR disclosure. Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to analyze the dimensions of the employee work placement (promotion, transfer, and demotion) on motivation and employee performance, and to analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance. The sample consisted of 39 (thirty nine) respondents. Data were analyzed using path analysis. Results show that the total effect of the promotion variable on motivation is 0.618 or 61.8%. The total effect of the mutation on motivation is 0.003 or 0.3%. The total effect of demotion variable on motivation is 0.125 or 12.5%. The total effect of the promotion variable on employee performance is 0.687 or 68.7%. The total effect of mutation on employee performance is 0.012 or 1.2%, the total effect of demotion variable on employee performance is -0.038 or -3.8%, and the total effect of motivation variable on employee performance is 0.685 or 68.5%. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of human resource competency and utilization of information technology on the financial statement quality mediated by the local property management in the Government of Bondowoso Regency. This is a quantitative research with the population consists of all property administrators, operators of Local Management Information System (SIMDA)/financial report makers, and Financial Administration Officials (PPK). Sampling method used is saturated sampling (census). Data used were collected from questionnaires distribution and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results of the research prove that human resource competency affects local property management and financial statement quality, while utilization of information technology only affects financial statement quality, but it has no effect on local property management. In addition, local property management affects financial statement quality. These mean that local property management partially mediates the influence of human resource competency on financial statement quality, but it does not mediate the influence of utilization of information technology on financial statement quality. Abstract

Public sector performance of the government institutions in Bondowoso Regency is measured from organizational ability in realizing budget absorption at the end of the budget year. However, referring merely to the financial aspect cannot provide objective and comprehensive overview of the overall organizational performance. Therefore, an objective and comprehensive measurement is needed, both from the financial (quantitative) and non financial aspects (qualitative). This research aims to analyze the implementation of balanced scorecard concept in describing the overall performance achievement and determining organizational policies and strategies in the Health Department of Bondowoso Regency. This is a qualitative research applying case study approach. Data were collected from questionnaires distribution, interview, and literatures study. This research focuses on 4 perspectives in describing organizational service quality, i.e., financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, and growth & learning perspective. Results show that: (1) the financial performance quality is economically adequate, quite effective and efficient, (2) from the customer perspective, the performance quality is satisfactory, (3) the quality performance of internal business process is satisfactory, and (4) from the learning and growth perspective, the performance quality is satisfactory. Abstract

This study compares the usage models of Kupedes credit of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Bangsalsari Jember, between the Javanese and Madurese debtors by analyzing the effect of service quality on satisfaction and loyalty of the debtors. The population is all Kupedes debtors of Javanese and Madurese in BRI Bangsalsari Jember. The sample consists of 120 Javanese debtors and 120 Madurese debtors taken by cluster sampling, purposive sampling, and quota sampling methods. The compared models were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and comparative test of the two models. The results show that for the Javanese debtors, service quality has no effect on satisfaction, service quality significantly affects loyalty, and satisfaction significantly affects loyalty. For the Madurese debtors, service quality has no effect on satisfaction, service quality has no effect on loyalty, and satisfaction significantly affects loyalty. Abstract

Abstract: Roti Ceria is sweet bakery products sold in Jember. In developing the business, the company will expand the sales area in each sub district. The company chooses the low end segment, which is considered to be at low cost, and determines product positioning only in the sweet bread market. Management has conducted the marketing mix strategy. But, the effectiveness is still being argued, especially regarding the problems of the expansion of sales area. Thus, the scientifically conducted study is needed to measure the marketing mix and its influence on the decision, statisfaction, and the loyalty of customers. Results of the study showed that the overall hypothesis were acceptable and there were significant influences of the product, distribution, and promotion on consumers’ decison; there were significant influences of product and price on consumers’ satisfaction; there were significant influences of consumers’ decision on consumers’ satisfaction and loyalty, and there was a significant influence of consumers’ satisfaction on consumers’ loyalty. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of: (1) product attributes on customer satisfaction, (2) product attributes on customer loyalty, and (3) satisfaction on customer loyalty of Citra Hand & Body Lotion product in Jember. Structural Equation Modeling analysis with AMOS 18 program was used to test the hypothesis. The sample consisted of 110 respondents. Results showed that: (1) product attributes had positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, (2) product attributes had positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, and (3) satisfaction had positive and significant effect on customer loyalty of Citra Hand and Body Lotion product in Jember. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of marketing mix on the students’ decision to study inthe Midwifery Academy, Jember. The objects of the study were students of the Midwifery Academy, Jember. This study used full sampling method with a sample size of 189 respondents. Multiple linear regression with confirmatoryapproach was used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the variables of product, price, place, people, physical evidence, and process have significant effect on students’ decision to study in the Midwifery Academy, Jember. Abstract: The abjective of this study is finding whether the customer has the difference between a view of the product financing they take on microfinance institutions of particularinstitution of islamic finance is based on several factors. The study population sare whole customer susefinancing services on financing bank rakyat syariah"asri" jember. Nonprobability by accidental sampling is used to determine the sample. The samples are 66 respondents. Results of this study showed that there is a difference between customer perception post editems indicated multiple variables. Based on the age factor, income, and job perception there is a difference between customers.
