Abstract

Introduction: The process or activity of nursing practice used by nurses to provide nursing care to patients is referred to as nurse performance. Therefore, nursing services have become an important component of various health services and play an important role in determining the quality of hospital services. Inadequate leadership is a factor in the low performance of nurses. Objective: This research is to determine the relationship between leadership and nurse performance in the Orchid and Gladiola Treatment Room, Husada Hospital, Jakarta. Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Result: There is a significant relationship between leadership and work performance of nurses (p value 0.001 < ? 0.05). with good leadership will affect the work performance of nurses. Conclusion: Good leadership will affect the work performance of nurses in hospitals.

Abstract

Introduction: Post-immunization follow-up events (KIPI) for COVID-19 vaccine are medical symptoms that are suspected to be related to the COVID-19 vaccine, either in the form of vaccine reactions, injection reactions, pharmacological effects, or procedural errors. Good knowledge about AEFI can influence people's attitudes and behavior in dealing with follow-up events after COVID-19 immunization. The results of a brief survey obtained data from 35 respondents with 17 respondents (47.8%) not knowing what AEFIs were and as many as 18 respondents (51.4%) knowing what AEFIs were and how to handle them. Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of nursing students in handling the COVID-19 vaccine AEFI. Methods: The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a total sampling of 100 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with univariate analysis techniques. Result: The results showed that 80% of respondents had good knowledge about handling COVID-19 vaccine AEFIs, 75% of respondents who had a good attitude, and 79% of respondents who had good behavior. Knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of respondents are included in the good category because they are influenced by educational, environmental, socio-cultural factors, personal experience, mass media, educational institutions, and other people who are considered important. Conclucion: Further research can investigate further regarding the handling of the COVID-19 vaccine AEFI by using a qualitative descriptive method.

Abstract

Introduction: Basic immunization is one of the programs from the government given to babies and toddlers that has benefitsto protect health and increase endurance. Objective: This study aims to obtain more information about maternal behavior regarding the provision of primary immunization in the working area of the Tompobulu Health Center, Gowa Regency. Methods: This research uses qualitative methods (based on natural conditions) with a phenomenological approach (based on life experience). The core informants in this study were mothers who had babies 9-12 months and incomplete immunizations of 7 people and also key informants, namely immunization law experts and community leaders. Data collection was carried out by deepening the interview using interview guidelines. Result: The results showed that mothers' knowledge was still lacking about basic immunization, mothers had a negative attitude towards basic immunization, as well as mothers' poor actions/practices towards basic immunization. Conclusion: Improving education and promotion related to immunization is important for mothers who have toddlers.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension become a major problem in many countries in the world and it the etiologies of cardiovascular. Nursing intervention performed in hypertension using complementary Technique that focus on their physical, emotional and spiritual respons. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique provides a light taping on the body's 18 meridian points that intends to stimulate and activate, resulting a relaxing effect on the body. Objective: The purpose of study to find the Effect of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique on Blood Pressure in people with Hypertension in area Rasimah Ahmad Health Center at Bukittinggi City in 2021. Methods: This type of quantitative research using pre-experimental (One group pretest-posttest). sample in 19 respondents. Non-Probability Sampling techniques and data collection using observation sheets and computerized processing. The meaningful values for the four data groups are not normal distribution. Statistic tes used Wilcoxon signed rank test. Result: The average systolic blood pressure before seft therapy is 141.32 mmHg and diastolic is 93.42 mmHg and the average systolic blood pressure after seft therapy is 136.58 mmHg and diastolic is 88.58 mmHg. The results of Wilcoxon Test obtained statistics obtained systolic value p = 0.003 and diastolic value p = 0.001, ? =0.05 (p<?), there is a meaningful change blood pressure in people with hypertension. Conclusion: Health care be used as a foundation for realizing evidence based practice in handling people with hypertension with complementary therapies.

Abstract

Introduction: Long covid is a term used to describe an illness experienced by survivors of Covid-19 where they still feel the long-term effects of the Coronavirus much longer than expected. long covid symptoms are easy fatigue, shortness of breath, sore throat, cough, chest pain, joints, difficulty concentrating and problems with memory or brain fog, insomnia. Fatigue is the most common symptom experienced by elderly survivors of covid 19 after fever and shortness of breath which occurs in 30% of all elderly survivors of covid 19. Objective: The purpose of this research is to determine the level of fatigue of elderly survivors of covid 19 which will be associated with characteristics including the level of symptoms experienced. felt by the elderly. Methods: The methodology used is simple and descriptive so that it can see the level of fatigue of the elderly survivors of Covid 19 in the Pekanbaru city. The sample used was 40 elderly people at least 14 days after Covid 19 and showed negative test results. Result: The results of this study were no fatigue for 6 people (15%), mild fatigue for 22 people (55%), moderate fatigue for 10 people (25%), and very fatigue for 2 people (5%). Conclusion: health workers who treat COVID-19 patients, especially the elderly, can anticipate the impact, especially fatigue, by conducting an assessment after completing isolation so that later they can carry out appropriate nursing interventions.

Abstract

Introduction: One of the therapies for patients with chronic kidney is hemodialysis. Hemodialysis aims to eliminate the remnants of metabolic products or protein and as a correction of fluid and electrolyte balance disorders. In addition, this dialysis procedure can also cause complications, including affecting nutritional status. Some patients have difficulty managing nutritional intake but they do not get an understanding of how strategies can help them in managing nutritional diets. The strategy that needs to be done is providing health education using booklets on nutritional diets for hemodialysis patients. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of health education with a media booklet on a nutritional diet on the knowledge and attitudes of hemodialysis patients in RSUD DR RM. Pratomo Bagansiapiapi. The number of respondents in this study was 27 respondents. Method: This research is a quantitative study using pre-experimental design research in the form of a pretest-posttest design with one group design. Based on the results of the T-test Dependent. The number of respondents in this study was 27 respondents. Results: It was obtained that the p-value (0,000) of knowledge and attitudes was smaller than 0.05. Conclusion: the conclusion of this study is there is a significant difference in knowledge and attitudes before and after being given health education about media booklet the nutritional diet of hemodialysis patients.

Abstract

Introduction: Nurses are one of the health workers who are always in contact with Covid-19 patients, of course, they have a high enough risk of infection to be exposed to Covid-19. Objective: This study aimed to identify the relationship between stress and the quality of sleep of Covid-19 nurses in the Husada Hospital Jakarta treatment room. Methods: Quantitative research design with Cross-Sectional design, the number of samples in the study of 75 nurses working in the Covid-19 treatment room of Husada Hospital Jakarta, using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 research questionnaire and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data analysis using Descriptive Statistics Crosstabs with the Chi-Square Test. Result: From the results of the study, it was found that the age distribution of the respondents was the most, namely nurses with < age of 35 years as many as 35 people (46.7%), the most gender, namely women, 71 (94.7%) nurses, the most working time of respondents was > 10 years, namely 41 people (54.7%). The most stress variables were mild stress 36 people (48%), normal 30 people (40%), and moderate 9 people (12%), based on sleep quality variables category no disturbance 71 people (94.7%), severe disorder 4 people (5.3%). The result of Correction Pearson Chi-Square was gotten a p-value of 0.000 (p<? 0.05). Conclusion: Stress in Covid-19 nurses is closely related to the quality of nurses' sleep. The lighter the stress experienced by the nurse, the better the quality of sleep. But the heavier the stress experienced by the nurses, the quality of sleep will be disturbed. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between stress and the quality of nurses’ sleep.
