Abstract

this Action Research aims to improve the ability of teachers to utilize the school environment as a learning resource through discussions of Teachers Working Group (KKG) SDN Surianeun 2 Patia District, Pandeglang Regency academic year 2014-2015. This reasearch also conducted improve creativity, motivation, and learning result of students and teachers. From 10 teachers who involvid, 5 teachers got score with category “good”, meanwhile 5 teacher with category “enough”. At second sycles there is a better improvement 75% teacher got score with category good with score averiage 80-89. It is accordance with the defined success criteria. In detail, the acquisition value of the average increase in teachers' ability to utilize the school environment as a learning resource. The average value of observations on the discussions is 79.38 in the first cycle to 84.88 in the second cycle. Learning scenario exercise average is 78.75 in the first cycle to 82.50 in the second cycle. learning activities or in the process of learning the average is 78.33 in the first cycle to 82.08 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This action research is aims to (1) know the official letter writing, (2) investigate the implementation discovery methods and (3) know the effect of the discovery method of writing official letters. The method used in this research is action research. since the research carried out to solve the problem of learning in a class then this reasearch also include descriptive. Based on the results of the study in the first cycle to the third cycle was found that the official letter writing skills of students has increased from the first cycle to the third cycle, namely, the first cycle (37.50%), the second cycle (27.50%), the third cycle (95.00 %). This indicated that the letter-writing agency must consider (1) the elements of language, (2) Elements of official letter are: letterhead, letter number, attachments, subject, date of mailing, the address, salutation, letter, greetings cover, signature, full name of the sender, title, and copies, (3), Content and (4) format, official letter already have a standard format which consists of opening, content and cover. Additionally discovery method stimulates the activity of students to learn independently find the constraints faced in lessons.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parent support, peers and motivation to learn the results of student learning class XI IPS in SMA PGRI 2 Kota Jambi. The population in the study amounted to 61 students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in taking the learning process of parent support is very necessary for the growth of children in further education, this is due to the desire of children to attend school is not limited to different school environments or new peers but there is a high desire to continue take knowledge that is beneficial to them

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of school environment, social competence, and teacher performance on student learning outcomes at SMK Business Management Department Marketing Department of Jambi Selatan District Jambi City. The population in the study amounted to 65 teachers of economic subjects. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that in addition there are environments that can menumbuhkembangkan learning process needed competence in socializing from a teacher to his students. This is because, one of the applications of optimal teacher performance can be reflected from the extent to which students are able to implement feedback received when learning activities in the form of better learning achievement.

Abstract

The main problem of learning literature in school and college is the lack of experience and weakness of students' ability in literature. The experience and abilities in the literature include experience of appreciation and expression, both oral and written. Meanwhile, theoretically and the demands of the curriculum, appreciation experience and students' ability in expression are the main goals of literary learning. This is a fundamental problem of literary learning, the gap between the expected with the reality that occurred. One of the skills of literary expression is theatre activities, in which the activities are required to appreciate the high story played. Therefore it is necessary to design the learning process of creative in the theatre world from start creation and appreciation of the script to the show. This research will parse the full picture of the model of literary activities in the world of theatre in the sixth semester students who contracted theatre courses in the Department of Language Education and Indonesian Literature at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Untirta through the development method. The output in this research is the product of creative process of theatre in the form of students' work in theatre and long term goal is expected to create qualified human resources in the future.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to obtain information about the implementation of communicative approach in English textbook. The research methodology in this research is content analysis and the main instruments are text analysis, observation, interview and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that communicative approach has been implemented in the design and organization of English textbook. Communicative syllabus has been used as a guideline in creating the organization of the book and each unit. Language content and language style are appropriate with student’s need. The goal of classroom activities focuses on communicative competence. Topic has been selected carefully to ensure that they match the student’s need and interest. The methodology in teaching grammar inductively is also the implementation of communicative approach. The conclusion of this research can be said that English textbook uses communicative approach based on design and organization, language content, topic, skill, and methodology, whereas the suggestions of this research are English textbook should be appropriate with student’s need, give grammar rules clearly, have accessories package completely, topic should be variety and provide more activities or skills that appropriate with the demand of curriculum.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education and improvement of character human resources is crucial in enhancing the nation's competitiveness through innovation to do a good learning. The research aims to develop character-based education that is being integrated with innovative learning methods to improve the activity and learning outcomes of economic subjects in SMP PGRI 12 South Jakarta. The results showed that the character-based education can help students in learning to achieve competency in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. Character-based education as a learning medium can increase the activity and learning outcomes of economic subjects easily and efficiently so that the interaction of students' understanding of economic study, and at the same time improve the character of the students. Students are very interested in studying economic subjects to become entrepreneurs with good character education. Abstract

This research is aimed to investiagate: (1) the effect of Team Assisted Individually (TAI) and Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Models towards learning results. (2) the difference of learning results at Field Independent (FI) and Field dependent (FD) students. (3) The interaction effect of learning model and cognitive style towards learning result. (4) The effect of Team Assisted Individually (TAI) and Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Models towards learning results of field independent student. (5) The effect of Team Assisted Individually (TAI) and Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Models towards learning results of field dependent student. Method used in this research is experimental method with factorial 2 x 2 research design. The result of hypothesis analysis shows that (1) the student’s learning result of Team Assisted Individually (TAI) class is higher than Think Pair Share (TPS) class. (2) the learning result of field independent student is higher than field dependent student. (3) there is interaction between learning models and cognitive style towards learning results. (4) the learning results of field independent student at Team Assisted Individually (TAI) class is higher than Think Pair Share (TPS) class. (5) the learning results of field dependent student at Team Assisted Individually (TAI) class is higher than Think Pair Share (TPS) class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the intrinsic elements of folklore and moral values ​​of Sheikh Maulana Manshurudin Cikadueun as the conservation and appreciation of literary learning materials. This research uses qualitatif descriptive method. Analysis of the structure of the story using intrinsic element analysis theory. As for the moral value analysis is based on a combination of several opinions. This research was conducted in the presence of the object of tesearch is Kp Cikadueun, Ds Cikadueun, Kec Cipeucang, Kab Pandeglang. The data used in this study are the data of oral and writing of data. Based on the results of research on folklore Sheikh Maulana Manshurudin Cikadueun can be seen that the structure contained folklore In the story of the people of Sheikh Maulana Manshurudin Cikadueun is the theme, plot, character and characterization, background, viewpoint and mandate. In addition, the results of research shows that moral values ​​contained in the folklore of Sheikh Maulana Manshurudin Cikadueun divided into two: good moral values ​​and bad moral values. Good moral values ​​is religious, responsibility, respect, mutual help, perseverance, love of country, a lot of sense, and courage. While the bad moral values ​​are disobedient to his parents, and lie. Conservation efforts, especially the legend of Sheikh Maulana Manshurudin Cikadueun should continue to be optimized, because it proved that people segitar object of the research have been many who do not know to this folklore. besides the use of folklore Sheikh Maulana Manshurudin Cikadueun as pembelajara material must be done because besides introduction folklore among students in the folklore of these are moral values ​​that can be imitated.

Abstract

This study aimed to get an idea of the effect of Interest in Learning and pemahanan sentence to sentence effective writing skills junior high school students of SMP Al-Ikhlas Kayuringin Bekasi .The effect Comprehension Writing Skills sentence toThe ability to write Effective sentence and influence skills Interest in Learning to write effective sentence. This study uses the 35 sampel. Kuantitatif technique.Sampel data retrieval using Simple Random Sampling. The result based research can be concluded: 1) Interest in Learning does not affect the sentence effective writing skills. 2) Understanding Sentence significant effect on the ability to write sentences efektif.3) .Interest in Learning and Understanding sentence jointly influence significantly the ability to write effective sentence.
