Abstract

This study reviews the importance of media in teaching and learning process, so that the material delivered (message) can be easily understood by the students. But the learning media used must have an element of entertainment. Research method used in this study is experimental method with treatment by level 2 x 2 design. Based on the results of research, there is interaction between vocabulary mastery and flanegraph graphics media use towards student’s argumentation writing skill. And it also affects positively towards argumentation writing skill.

Abstract

The research is aimed at developing a teaching material of Indonesian scientific writing based on a communicative approach. The research method applied is the research development one, the data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis of qualitative and quantitative approaches are employed. The finding of the result is the effectiveness of class with communicative approach is 77,00 mean while, The effectiveness of class with conventional approach is 68,17. The students of activity in using of model communicative approach was higher more than 91% and the students of activity with not using of model communicative approach is 70%, it can be concluded that the implementation of communicative approach in scientific writing can improve the result of students scientific writing.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of self-concept and emotional intelligence on students' decision making abilities. This research was conducted in eighth grade students of junior high schools in the city of Depok. Determination of the sample is done using cluster random sampling obtained by the sample size of 40 students. The method used to investigate the magnitude of the effect is to use multiple linear regression. Based on the results of research that has been done obtained information that there is a significant influence between self-concept and emotional intelligence on the decision-making abilities of students. The influence of self-concept and emotional intelligence separately on the ability of decision making were 21.72% and 28.09%, respectively. While the influence of the two independent variables together is equal to 81.7%. This illustrates that self-concept and emotional intelligence are important components that must be considered by educators in particular, in developing decision-making abilities.

Abstract

This paper seeks to describe the concept of implementation and learning outcomes based on character values ​​as an effort to achieve the goals to be achieved by an individual / community group in order to improve lives in the present and the future effective and efficient, so it needs a variety of support resources that must be met so that learning can be implemented optimally. This study uses a concept analysis method of Character-Based Learning Values " concept inquiry through theoretic analysis. The researcher identifies, studies and then studies research data to gain an understanding of the character-based learning values ​​in learning that can be directly observed. Research data were collected through observation and interviews, library research from various theoretical documents. technical analysis of the data used is an interactive model through the stages of data collection, data reductional, data display, and conclusion / verifying. Analytic results of the study 1. Concepts of character-based learning values ​​can be applied and have an impact on the learning process, special in the achievement of predetermined learning goals, in improving skills, knowledge, attitude skills and behavioral skills. 2) The implementation of value-based learning can be carried out with the power of support, teachers, students, parents and the environment, although in its implementation in the educational process can not optimal support the learning process due to limited resources, 3) The results of value-based learning can a conservative role, creative, critical, evaluative, productive and innovative continuous towards improving the benefit of the people.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penenelitian ini yaitu memberikan informasi bagaimana kondisi seorang pemimpin pada sekolah swasta dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey, dengan total responden sebanyak 60 orang yang terdiri dari 15 orang kepala sekolah dasar (SD) negeri, 15 orang kepala SD swasta, 15 orang kepala sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) negeri, dan 15 orang kepala SMP swasta. Adapun lokasi penelitiannya di kabupaten Subang yang tersebar di 20 kecamatan. Hasil penelitian memberikan informasi bahwa gaya kepemimpinan seseorang di sekolah swasta pada umumnya berbeda dengan di sekolah negeri. Hal ini disebabkan adanya rasa memiliki (sense of belonging) yang timbul dari seorang pemimpin. Ukuran rasa memiliki seorang kepala sekolah swasta lebih besar dibandingkan dengan seorang kepala sekolah negeri.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and activities in the human rights learning process through the STAD learning model. This classroom action research consists of 3 cycles, with 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted on 29 students, class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang in the academic year 2015/2016. The completeness of the learning outcomes of PPKN in the cognitive domain of class X IPSSMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang in the academic year 2015/2016 before the study was 14% and the average learning outcome was 47. After learning by using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Development) Learning Model there was an increase in the completeness of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of cycles II and III, from 41% to 48% and the average learning outcomes increased from 66 to 75. Student activity increased from cycles I, II and III, namely 14, 22 and 34 from a maximum score of 48 with active percentages of 29%, 46% and 71%. Based on the results of the study, the application of the STAD model of learning can improve PPKN learning outcomes and student activities in the learning process of teaching human rights at SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang students are still low compared to other subjects. The low learning outcomes of students of SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang are caused by many factors, including: 1) some students still think mathematics is a difficult and boring subject; 2) students are less active and creative in learning; 3) teachers are less varied in using conventional approaches. One effort to overcome these problems in this study the authors use a Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang, conducted in August 2017 to September 2017. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). Based on the results of this study indicate that the use of Jigsaw learning models on the material Dimension Three student learning outcomes increase. It was shown the average value of the class from 44.86 in daily tests KD 3.1 to 71.09 in the first cycle and the average value to 76.41 in the second cycle. This is indicated by the value of mastery learning KD 3.1 of 34.34% increased to 46.88% in the first cycle and to be 68.75% in the second cycle. Based on data analysis and discussion of research results, the authors conclude that the use of Jigsaw's cooperative learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes in basic competencies mendeskripsikan jarak dalam ruang (antar titik, titik ke garis, dan titik ke bidang). his study aims to determine: 1. Strategy for Fulfilling Facilities and Infrastructure at SMKN 2 Pandeglang. 2. Strategy The high interest of junior high school graduates to continue to SMKN 2 Pandeglang. 3. High Discipline of Students and Students of SMKN 2 Pandeglang. 4. High Absorption of Graduates to DU / DI. 5. High quality of human resources. 6. Fulfillment of 21st Century skill demands. The results show (1) the FOCUS strategy is very appropriate in learning facilities and infrastructure. SMKN 2 Pandeglang fulfilled to get to SMK Revitalization. (2) The FOCUS strategy is very appropriate in the interest of junior high school graduate students to continue to SMKN 2 Pandeglang Tinggi. It can be seen from the results that there are 5 educators taken in the sample and 10 students answered on a scale of 5, that means the interest of junior high school graduates to continue to SMKN 2 Pandeglang Tinggi to SMKN 2 Pandeglang fulfilled to get to SMK Revitalization. (3) The FOCUS strategy is very appropriate in High Discipline. It can be seen from the results that there are 5 educators taken as a sample and 10 students answer on a scale of 5, it means that High Discipline is fulfilled to get to SMK Revitalization. (4) The FOCUS strategy is very precise in terms of the absorption capacity of High graduates. It can be seen from the results that 9 students answered on a scale of 5, it means that the absorption capacity of High graduates is fulfilled to get to SMK Revitalization. (5) The FOCUS strategy is very appropriate in the Quality of High Human Resources. It can be seen from the results that there are 5 educators taken as a sample and 10 students answer on a scale of 5, it means that the High Quality of Human Resources is fulfilled to get to SMK Revitalization. (6) The strategy taken by the author is the right strategy to answer the demands of 21st Century skills, because with a focus on SMKN 2 Pandeglang it can reach the National Revitalization School.

Abstract

We rely on the capabilities of human resources in this globalization era. Vocational education graduates are expected to become productive individuals who are able to become intermediate workers and have readiness to face job competition. As the spearhead, teachers have a very important role, human resource management, it is necessary to link organizational strategy and human resources. When a person feels satisfaction at work, he will do everything possible to the best of his ability to complete his job assignments. Communication plays a very important role. Humans have social needs, which can be met through interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication is useful for smoothing the flow of communication, both between superiors and subordinates vertically and fellow workers horizontally. Work motivation has an important and very basic role in the implementation of public service tasks that will accelerate the achievement of organizational goals. This research uses a quantitative approach, survey descriptive method. The population of this study were private vocational high school teachers in East Jakarta. The data description in this section includes data on variable Y (Job Satisfaction) as the final endogenous variable, variable X1 (Interpersonal Communication) as an exsogenous variable and variable X2 (Work Motivation) as an intermediate endogenous variable. The description of each variable is presented successively starting from the variables Y, X1, and X2. The results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that there is a positive direct effect of interpersonal communication and work motivation on job satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0.767 and a value of Fcount (105.214)> Ftable (3.06). So that interpersonal communication and work motivation have a positive direct effect on job satisfaction. Interpersonal communication and work motivation resulted in an increase in job satisfaction for private vocational high school teachers in the East Jakarta Region.

Abstract

Language skills are a very important skill in everyday life. Language skills are easily expressed through oral and written. The lack of interest of students in terms of writing about his own experiences is happening because of difficulties to express feelings, not able to describe the idea in the form of sentences. Pattern Technique Ci-Luk-Ba! is a technique for writing a story that contains the most basic structure of the narrative. Therein, there is knowledge, tension and enjoyment, while making the story start from the starting point, middle, and end point. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Ci-Luk-Ba pattern techniques! To short story writing skills. The method used by this research is quantitative using Quasi Experimental Design. Using sampling technique is Non probability Sampling with purposive sampling form. The results of data analysis showed significant differences proved also on the hypothesis test indicating that t_hitung gained 9.85 greater than t_tabel 1.994 at a significant rate of 0.05. It can then be concluded that rejected received. So it can be stated that "pattern technique Ci-Luk-Ba! Influence of short story writing skills in grade IV students at SDN Ketabang Surabaya ".
