Abstract

The purposes of this research is to determine:(1) The difference between students’ learning achievement of civics education between students who learn by using cooperative learning STAD model and using expository method (lecture); (2) the difference between students’ learning achievement of civics education between students who have high interpersonal intelligence and students who have low interpersonal intelligence; (3) the interaction of applying cooperative learning STAD model and interpersonal intelligence toward civics learning achievement; (4) the difference students’ learning achievement of civics education between the students using cooperative learning STAD model who have high interpersonal intelligence and the students using expository learning method who have high interpersonal intelligence; and (5) the difference learning achievement of civics education between the students using cooperative learning STAD model who have low interpersonal intelligence and the students using expository learning method who have low interpersonal intelligence.This research uses quantitative approach with experimental method. The results show (1) students’ civics education achievement by applying cooperative STAD learning model is higher than students’ civics education achievement by expository learning method; (2) students’ civics education achievement who has high interpersonal intelligence is higher than students’ civics education achievement who has low interpersonal intelligence; (3) there is interaction between applying cooperative STAD learning model and high interpersonal intelligence towards students’ civics education achievement; (4) students’ civics education achievement who has high interpersonal intelligence by applying cooperative STAD learning model is higher than the students’ civics education achievement who has high interpersonal intelligence by applying expository learning method; and (5) students’ civics education achievement who has low interpersonal intelligence by applying cooperative STAD learning model is higher than the students’ civics education achievement who has low interpersonal intelligence by applying expository learning method.

Abstract

Physics is one of the subjects studied by students, especially students in the Department of Natural Sciences. The fact that Physics is a subject that is difficult for students to understand. Students complain about how difficult it is to understand physics, so that it impacts on the low results of student learning evaluations. Based on the results of interviews with teachers in the field of study and initial observations at SMAN 8 Pandeglang, especially class XII-IPA 3 found several causes of the students' lack of understanding of physics subjects, one of which is the lack of student participation during the learning process, which causes students to be less motivated in learning physics that has an impact on the low student learning evaluation results Based on the above problems, it is necessary to implement a learning model that emphasizes the maximum student participation during the learning process so that it can improve student learning outcomes and can train or grow students' science process skills. One of them is a guided inquiry learning model. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method whose model was developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart which consists of several continuous cycles. the results showed that all indicators that have been determined as successful assessments (PTK) with the guided inquiry model were successful

Abstract

(Research Action Class In The Class VIII Junior High School Muhammadiyah Labuan) This research aims to improve critical thinking skills of students in the lesson PPKn in students of class VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Muhammadiyah Labuan learning model by using Inkuiri. This research is a Research Action Class (PTK). A sampling of research is grade VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Muhammadiyah Labuan. Application of the learning model used was Inkuiri by using the techniques in a group discussion. The instruments used are the now the observation sheets, as well as documentation. Data analysis techniques using the percentage of the results the results of the critical thinking of students in the learning process and is supported by the results of the question form given in the end of each meeting of each cycle. This research is carried out in 2 cycle by applying the model Inkuiri. The steps and learning implemented, namely a change in the delivery of the subject matter, students analyze problems, establishment of a discussion group by changing the grouping students based from his achievements, students pair up to discuss, representative groups of students to convey the results of the discussion in front of the class. The results showed that the critical thinking ability of students of class VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Muhammadiyah Labuan improved after he used a model of learning inkuiri learning in the PPKn with the subject matter of democracy. This increase is evident in the increased critical thinking ability of students score average of 68.75 in cycles I and rose to 90.18 on cycle II is the result of the sheet now undertaken by students. Students who achieve success criteria have elevated into 39.29% in cycle I and rose to 92.86% in cycle II. Observation results also showed an increase in the student's activities from cycle to cycle I II results from the observation sheet is meeting I of 44.75 meeting to meeting to 57.37 II III and IV the meeting to 67.97 78.35 these results seen from the average score students who obtained, i.e. students increased, among others: students actively in the learning, students are more generous in finding and collecting information is desired, and students also have more opportunity to study with a friend.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the extent of increasing mathematical understanding ability between students who get the Advance Organizer learning model and students who do not get the Advance Organizer learning model. This research is a quasi experimental design type of non equivalent pretest-postest control group design. The population in this research were students of information systems at the faculty of technology and information by taking a sample of two classes, namely class A as an experimental class and class B as a control class. The research instrument used was a mathematical understanding ability test. Based on the research results, it is known that there are differences of mathematical understanding ability between students who get the Advance Organizer learning model and those who do not get the Advance Organizer learning model. So by using the Advance Organizer learning model, it can improve the ability of mathematical understanding when compared to the learning process that does not use the Advance Organizer model. In addition, the activities and understanding of students in learning reflect the implementation of learning well and students give positive responses, where the learning that is carried out can further enhance students’ motivation and mathematical understanding abilities in solving problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in activeness and student learning outcomes through learning Snowball Throwing in Entrepreneurship subjects in class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 7 Pandeglang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection using the method of observation and test methods. Data analysis uses descriptive techniques. The results of the analysis show that Snowball Throwing learning can improve student activity and learning outcomes. The percentage of students' learning activeness in pre-cycle 45.62% to the first cycle 73.75% increased 28.13% and the first cycle 73.75% to the second cycle 93.125% increased 19.37%. The percentage of student learning outcomes in the pre cycle 48.48% to the first cycle 54.54% increased 6.06 %% and the first cycle 54.54% to the second cycle 93.93% increased 39.39%..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Elektromekanik dengan Kompetensi Dasar melakukan pekerjaan elektromekanik dari bahan logam di kelas X Program keahlian Teknik Ketenagalistrikan -1 SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 orang peserta didik. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan tes, pedoman observasi dan aktivitas peserta didik, dan di analisis secara naratif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada Pengamatan Pendahuluan, proses pembelajaran berlangsung cukup efektif, rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik 27,37 termasuk kategori kurang, dan pada Pengamatan Pendahuluan dengan ketuntasan 42,85% (15 orang peserta didik ) mencapai nilai KKM dan meningkat lebih efektif pada Pengamatan PendahuluanI dengan rata aktivitas peserta didik 50 termasuk kategori cukup dan pada Pengamatan PendahuluanI ketuntasan 71,42% (25 orang peserta didik) mencapai nilai KKM. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran dan aktivitas peserta didik mengalami perubahan ke arah positif. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode tutor sebaya dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Elektromekanik di kelas X jurusan Teknik Ketenagalistrikan-1 SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang

Abstract

The existence of the phenomenon of academic dishonesty is increasingly entrenched among college students. A prestige achievement of high scores in each exam affects students to cheat answers from friends / notes / other sources (internet). This is in contradiction with academic ethics. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of mathematics students who committed academic dishonesty and the types of academic dishonesty they did, as well as the reasons for doing academic dishonesty. The research method used was a literature review and a description of the results of the questionnaire and interviews of 39 graduate students consisting of 16 men and 23 women. The questionnaire consisted of 24 statements regarding the type of academic dishonesty. From the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the most widely done was to collaborate on a specific lecture assignment, or take-home test, which was instructed to be done alone (90%). Followed by whispering answers to exam questions to friends while taking the exam together (82%) and quoting verbatim from a source of writing and I submit the quote as fulfillment of my college assignments (82%). Based on the results, efforts are needed to prevent and eradicate academic dishonesty. Keywords: academic dishonesty, academic ethics, cheating

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are tangible skills that can be measured in the form of knowledge, skills and attitudes as active interactions between subjects and learning objects during the learning process to achieve learning outcomes. One important factor is how much effectiveness the implementation of classroom-based assessment and teacher competence in improving student learning outcomes. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach and survey methods using questionnaires and interviews. The population is 135 people, a sample of 60 people in the Bandung Regency Cluster 8 Middle School teachers fill out a questionnaire. There is a significant influence of variable (X1) on variable (Y) of r = 0.784, and r2 = 0.614. Shows that the variable (X1) determinant factors to the variable (Y) gives a positive influence so that changes in the variable (Y), influenced by other factors. There is a significant influence of variable (X2) on variable (Y) r = 0.493, and r2 = 0.243. This shows that the variable (X2) determinant factors to the variable (Y) gives a positive effect so that changes in the variable (Y) are influenced by other factors. There is a significant influence between variable (X1) and variable (X2) with variable (Y) r = 0.787, and r2 = 0.620, regression equation: Y = 41.164 + 0.427 X2. Containing a significant understanding is to be expected, if an increase in variable (X1) and variable (X2) is one point, there will be a change in variable (Y) of 0.427 points. To achieve quality schools, the improvement in student learning outcomes is positively influenced by two determinant factors together, the effectiveness of classroom-based assessments and teacher competency where the improvement in student learning outcomes is subjected to the creation of quality schools. Based on the conclusions and it is recommended that the effectiveness of classroom-based assessments and teacher competencies should be further improved in the ability (ability) to manage the class, so that student learning outcomes will increase and quality in accordance with the objectives of national education. Abstract

The purpose of this research is the researcher wants to know whether the learning method of Future Planning (The improvement of counseling which oriented at Future Planning) constantly able to increase students achievement at students’ basic competence which have knowledge about their psychology condition. Based on the result of classroom action research (CAR) generally doing the learning method of Future Planning (The improvement of counseling which oriented at Future Planning) the students able to have knowledge about their psychology condition. The researcher have done at students in class X-Natural Science-1 odd semester at Senior High School state 1 Sooko, Ponorogo regency in academic year 2018/2019. Based on the classroom action research each cycles, start from 1st cycle, 2nd cycle, until 3rd cycle always increase that the students have knowledge about psychology condition. This is can be identified from the result of average value which have gotten from students, grouping or individually. The students have knowledge of psychology condition is a adroitness, so in many trying frequently surely it will increase the result students achievement in doing the learning method of Future Planning (The improvement of counseling which oriented at Future Planning). This is can be identified at 1st cycle, 2nd, and 3rd sequence, it can be concluded that the students which have active activity in average is 26.48 (26%) 1st cycle, 41.18 (41%) 2nd cycle, 81.41 (82%) 3rd cycle and the students which did not active showed 83.52 (84%) 1st cycle, 58.82 (59%) 2nd cycle, 20.58 (21%) 3rd cycle, and the students which done the learning method of Future Planning (The improvement of counseling which oriented at Future Planning) which have good character is 11.86 (12%) 1st cycle, 38,23 (38%) 2nd cycle, 10.18 (10%) 3rd cycle and in less character showed 88.23 (88%) 1st cycle, 61.86 (62%) 2nd cycle, 8.82 (9%) 3rd cycle and the result of students achievement have average value is 62.32 (62%) 1st cycle, 64.02 (64%) 2nd cycle, 85.220 (85 %) 3rd cycle. Because of it is still up of students passing grade (SPG) 80 (80 %) which have decision, so this research activity did not need to do the researcher at next cycles. So that in this researcher declared Finish or Success.

Abstract

Rendahnya prestasi belajar di SMA Negeri 1 Pandeglang Kelas XII IPA merupakan salah satu bukti bahwa pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan standar kompetensi belum dilakukan secara maksimal. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya prestasi belajar sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Pandeglang Kelas XII IPA ini dimungkinkan karena guru belum memanfaatkan semua potensi yang ada, atau pun guru sendiri belum berkemampuan dalam memberikan materi pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pandeglang. Hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus I menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dibandingkan sebelum diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model kreatif dan produktif. Sebelum diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model kreatif dan produktif, hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan presentase ketuntasannya adalah 30,76 %, sedangkan yang tidak tuntas adalah 69,23%. Setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model kreatif dan produktif hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan presentase siswa yang tuntas 58, 97%, sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas 41,02%. Jadi rata-rata kelas secara keseluruhan adalah 7,0. Pada siklus II hasil belajar nilai siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang lebih baik dibandingakan pada siklus I. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II ini sebagai berikut: presentase dari tingkat ketuntasan pada siklus II adalah 84,61 % sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan presentase 15,38 %. Jadi rata-rata kelas secara keseluruhan adalah 7,82. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Kreatif dan Produktif ini, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada pokok bahasan Asal usul dan persebaran manusia di Kepulauan Indonesia. Saran yang penulis berikan berkaitan dengan penelitian sebagai berikut, dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan sebagai usaha meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik lagi pada dasarnya guru harus terus menerus melakukan tindakan melalui proses penelitian agar dapat mengelola proses pembelajaran yang komulatif, partisipatif dan demokratis sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mengkondisikan proses pembelajaran yang kondusif.
