Abstract

Abstract— The background of this research originated from the assumption that social science subject is less important, the use of media and teacher methods which are less varied and the low learning activities of students which have an impact on low learning achievement especially for social science subjects. One of the social science teacher's creativeness in delivering material in a varied way is using kodesiseto, which is an acronym from comics with students as figures (komik dengan siswa sebagai tokoh). Comics as an alternative visual media, can be used as illustrations in learning. This media is quite unique and it is expected to make the students become more interested in learning social science so that the learning objectives will be achieved therefore the learning achievement will increase. Besides, the teaching and learning process will be more varied. This research was a classroom action research conducted in class VII.2 SMP Negeri 9 Prabumulih because it had the lowest social science achievement compared to other classes. The results showed that the use of kodesiseto in social science learning could improve students' social science learning achievement as proved by the average pre-test scores in the first cycle were 5.44 then increased to 6.77 on the post-test, the average pre-test scores of students in the second cycle were 6.11 increased to 7.74 in the post test, in third cycle the average value of pre-test and post-test students also increased by 6.92 to 8.66. Thus, the use of kodesiseto can be used as an alternative learning media in social science learning to improve learning activities and students’ achievement in social science subject  Keywords— Kodesiseto, Learning achievement, Social science Abstrak— Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari adanya anggapan pelajaran IPS yang kurang penting, penggunaan media dan metode guru yang kurang bervariasi serta rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa yang berdampak pada rendahnya prestasi belajar terutama pelajaran IPS. Salah satu kreativitas guru IPS dalam penyampaian materi agar bervariasi yaitu dengan menggunakan kodesiseto, yang merupakan akronim dari komik dengan siswa sebagai tokoh. Komik sebagai media visual alternatif, dapat digunakan sebagai ilustrasi dalam pembelajaran. Media ini cukup unik dan diharapkan siswa lebih tertarik dalam mempelajari IPS sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran IPS akan tercapai serta prestasi belajarnya akan meningkat. Selain itu proses belajar mengajar akan lebih bervariasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di kelas VII.2 SMP Negeri 9 Prabumulih karena memiliki prestasi belajar IPS paling rendah dibandingkan kelas lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  penggunaan kodesiseto  dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS siswa terbukti dengan rata-rata nilai pre tes pada siklus I sebesar 5,44 meningkat menjadi 6,77 pada post tes, nilai rata- rata pre tes siswa pada siklus II sebesar 6,11 meningkat menjadi 7,74 pada post tes, pada siklus III nilai rata-rata pre tes dan post tes siswa juga  mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6,92 menjadi 8,66. Oleh karena itu penggunaan kodesiseto dapat  dijadikan  alternatif  dalam  pembelajaran  IPS    agar  dapat  meningkatkan aktivitas belajar serta prestasi siswa dalam pelajaran IPS Kata Kunci— Kodesiseto, Prestasi belajar, Ilmu pengetahuan sosial

Abstract

In the era of technological developments that are increasingly developing in the 21st century, modules used in learning do not always use conventional modules such as paper-based modules. Today's teachers must be able to present subject matter in the form of modules that can be accessed online by students. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This study provides an overview of the teacher must be able to present the module according to the students' passion in 21st century education. The research was conducted in the State MA 3 of Palembang City and Purwadadi Musi Rawas Public High School. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are that not all teachers present modules in each lesson that are in accordance with the passion of students in education in the 21st century, in general the two schools teachers state that indeed in each subject that has been taught as well as presents the module but only teachers who I want to make the modules of some other teachers still use the available textbooks, based on Teacher's competency in the Industrial Revolution Era the teacher must be able to present modules according to the students' passion in 21st century education but with rapid technological development so that teachers must learn to follow the flow of globalization so that teachers can make presentations of modules that are compatible with the Passion of students in 21st century education.

Abstract

This research aimed to know how the management of character education in Integrated Islamic Boarding School. This research used qualitative approach,  the techniques of the data collection are by conducting interview, observation, and documentation. The data is obtained from the principal of Students’ Affairs, Teachers, and the chief of students Association of Raudhatul Ulum.The data analyzed by using content analysis technique. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that 1) The planning of character education in SMA IT Raudhatul Ulum through the meetings of school administrators and teachers who discuss formal and informal daily, mounthly and annual school program based on the National Education Curriculum, JSIT curriculum, and Islamic Boarding Curriculum; 2) Organizing character education is carried out by school under the primary responsibility of vice principal of curriculum and students affairs; 3) The form of implementation is by developing a curriculum consisting of integration in learning school programs, habituation and example; 4) Controlling is carried out by all elements in the school, both daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities. The form of evaluation is through the meeting of all teachers ang school administrators, monthly report of school administrator and report book.

Abstract

Abstract—The study of language and literature problems that bridge local wisdom in the era of globalization is very relevant in discourse. This reality is in line with the changes that occur in the life of society, nation and state post-reformation as the emergence of excessive demands in almost all aspects of life. Indonesian nation must realize that the economic influence generated by the free market also affects Indonesian language and literature, even in language and literature learning. Such demands often trigger crucial problems, which can threaten wholeness in the life of society, nation, and state. Local wisdom was a cultural element that must be explored, studied, and revitalized because its essence is so important in strengthening the foundations of the nation's identity in facing the challenges of globalization. The question that arises is whether the local cultural values as a glue identity of the nation is still relevant to be revitalized in the face of various problems in this era of globalization. Keywords— Language and Literature, Local Wisdom. Abstrak— Kajian tentang permasalahan bahasa dan sastra yang menjembatani kearifan lokal dalam era globalisasi sangat relevan diwacanakan. Kenyataan ini seiring dengan berbagai perubahan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara pasca reformasi seiring timbulnya tuntutan yang berlebihan hampir dalam segala aspek kehidupan.Bangsa Indonesia harus menyadari bahwa pengaruh ekonomi yang dimunculkan oleh pasar bebas juga berdampak terhadap bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, bahkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra. Tuntutan yang demikian sering memicu permasalahan krusial, sehingga dapat mengancam keutuhan dalam hidup bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara. Kearifan lokal merupakan elemen budaya yang harus digali, dikaji, dan direvitalisasikan karena esensinya begitu penting dalam penguatan fondasi jatidiri bangsa dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Abstract

Abstract—Currently educational institutions are trapped in contemporary treatments to banish the effects of the era of disruption, so that the approach unwittingly instead makes students participate in the flow of corruption. Therefore, the most important thing done by educational institutions is to strengthen the planting of character values that can be a shield for the younger generation in an effort to deal with the impacts arising in the era of disruption. This study aims to find out how schools implement religious values to strengthen the character of students in the era of disruption. The place of this research was conducted at SD Negeri 7 Betung. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection tools using interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the study stated that information disclosure was anticipated by the school, especially the negative influence of information received by students through gadgets and peers. Therefore, schools always strive to inculcate character, especially religious values that are integrated into subjects, school cultural values, and also extracurricular activities. Through strengthening the religious character that is continuously integrated by the school, the result is students are able to show good attitude and good karma in school, students also never take actions that are not in accordance with norms of religious norms, besides that students can also find out which information can build and which information can have a negative impact on them. Keywords— Values of Religion, Character Education, Disruption Era  Abstrak—Saat ini lembaga pendidikan terjebak pada treatmen kekinian untuk menghalau dampak dari era disrupsi, sehingga tanpa disadari pendekatan tersebut malah menjadikan siswa ikut dalam arus dirupsi tersebut. Oleh karenanya, hal yang paling penting dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan adalah menguatkan penanaman nilai nilai karakter yang dapat menjadi perisai bagi generasi muda dalam upaya menghadapi dampak yang timbul di era disrupsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara sekolah mengimplementasikan nilai nilai religi untuk memperkuat karakter siswa  di era disrupsi. Tempat penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 7 Betung. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualittaif deskriptif. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa keterbukaan informasi menjadi hal yang diantisipasi oleh pihak sekolah, terutama pengaruh negative dari informasi yang diterima oleh siswa melalui gadget dan teman sebaya. Oleh karenanya, sekolah selalu berupaya untuk penanaman karakter, khususnya nilai nilai religius yang di integrasikan ke dalam mata pelajaran, nilai nilai budaya sekolah, dan juga kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Melalui penguatan karakter religius yang terus menerus di integrasikan oleh pihak sekolah, hasilnya siswa mampu menunjukkan sikap dan tata karma yang baik di sekolah, siswa juga tidak pernah melakukan tindakan yang tidak sesuai dengan norma nnorma agama, selain itu siswa juga dapat mengetahui mana informasi yang dapat membangun dan mana informasi yang dapat berdampak negative bagi mereka. Kata Kunci— Nilai nilai Religi, Pendidikan Karakter, Era Disrupsi

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to obtain information about the implementation of School Literacy Movement (SLM) in order to develop reading interest of State High School 1 Banyuasin I students. This research used qualitative method. Data were collected through interview, observation and documentation. Subjects of this research were the students and the teachers of State High School 1 Banyuasin I. The results showed that (1) the implementation of School Literacy Movement (GLS) has entering the development stage, held through: 15 minutes reading activity; students have a collection of reading response journals, literacy corners in each class, the representative from each class tells a summary of the book he or she has read in a morning assembly, the celebration of special occasions related to literacy theme; (2) the students’ reading interest is getting increased, followed by the increasing of students’ skill in summarizing books and in communication.

Abstract

The issues examined are: 1) How development of entrepreneurialbusiness unit in SMAN 1 Muara Padang? 2) How entrepreneurialproduction units in SMAN 1 Muara Padang?The research subjects are headmaster, chairman of the committee andteachers. Using ethnographic research approach. Method of data collection using indepth interviews, observation and documentation. Technique of data analysis using triangular. Results of the study are: 1) the development of entrepreneurial business unit in SMAN 1 Muara Padang is still limited to the school cooperative effort is still limited to fulfilling the needs of students such as stationery and books, haven't touched the needs of all the citizens of the school; 2) Development of entrepreneurial production units in SMAN 1 Muara Padang is still limited to the activities of the tailoring school uniform and still involves a seamstress from outside power, has not been fully resolved by the school's own citizens. Whereas the development of production units in the form of maximize the potential of citizen schools in serving the tailoring school uniform and other service uniforms, as well as utilizing landfill covering an area of 4,000 m2 belonging to the school utilized into three parts, covering an area of 2,000 m2 can be used for crops of fruit, such as mango 10750 m2 for plant vegetable soup, and a 1,000 m2 for plant chemist shop alive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes the Psychology of Literature and Value of Islamic Cultural Education. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method and content technique. The results of this study indicate that the interrelationships between elements in the novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren can build a braided story full of conflict and have a reinforcement on the theme. In addition, the message or message author submitted through the educational value consists of: (a) the value of the soul of simplicity, which contains the element of the power of the heart to face the struggle of life with all difficulties, (b) the value of the soul of self-reliance, the soul of self-help, the value of the soul Ukhuwah Islamiyah, ie the atmosphere of the intimate brotherhood so that all the pleasures are felt together with the fabric of religious feeling, (d) the value of the soul of freedom, that is free in determining the future in choosing the way of life in the society, (e) the value of the soul of keiklasan, because driven by the desire to obtain certain advantages. In addition, the psychology of women in the novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren by Ira Madan has five needs, namely: the need for love, physiological needs, the need for sense of security, the need for actualization, the need for a sense of price.Keywords— light love pesantren, literary psychology, and educational values.

Abstract

Abstract— Digital learning is a current mode of education today, triggered by the rapid development of information and communication technology in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. This mode of learning has the capasity to develop the potential and abilities of students, not only in knowledge but also in life skills, especially in terms of innovative creativity which is an important capital in the era of  21st Century. This article discusses the concept of digital learning,  readiness for usage, and its role in developing students' innovative creativity.Keywords— digital learning, creativity, innovation Abstrak— Pembelajaran digital merupakan modus pendidikan masa kini yang dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan pesat teknologi komunikasi dan informasi pada era Industrial Revolution 4.0. Abstract

This research is conducted with reference to the urgent need of character education for early childhood especially the character of environmental awareness. The objective of this study is to examine the effect of portfolio engineering and school environment on environmental awareness of primary school students. The research was conducted at elementary school in Bekasi district involving 3 elementary schools. The research method used experiment and the result was analyzed by two way variance analysis. The results of the research, are follow: 1. There is influence of portfolio engineering on environmental awareness. Elementary school students provided portfolio engineering with dissertation of teacher instruction higher than in primary school students provided portfolio engineering without teacher instruction; 2. There is an influence of school environment on environmental awareness. Elementary school students who attend school in industrial environment have high environmental awareness than primary school students who attend school in non-industrial environment; 3. There is an influence of insteraction between portfolio engineering and school environment on environmental concerns; 4. Elementary school students who attend school in industrial environments provided portfolio engineering dissertation instructors have higher environmental concerns than those not instructed; 5. Elementary school students who attend school in non-industrial environment provided portfolio engineering dissertation teacher instruction has a lower environmental concern than teachers who are not given instruction.Keywords— environmental awareness, school environment, portfolio engineering.
