Abstract

This research aims to reveal the role of the principal’s entrepreneurship competency in the SMAN 1 Makarti Jaya, in 2018/2019 viewed from: 1) context, 2) input, 3) process, and 4) product of the role of the principal’s entrepreneurship competency. The data were collected through interviews, and analyzed descriptively. The role of the principal’s entrepreneurship competency in improving the quality of the education can be seen through the CIPP models of the research. Teh context is to determine the relevance of the program to the needs of the school policy. The input is to identify the school readiness. The process is for determining the school activities. The product is to determine the quality of the school in terms of the number of graduates. The results are as follows 1. The context is good, because of the relevance of the program according to the needs of the school. 2. The input is good, in the form of school readiness including: infrastructure, teachers, students, and principals to implement the program with clear targets. 3. The program implementation process is good, because the participation of teachers and students, quality of teaching, extracurricular increased, and the prin-cipals are able to manage all school activities. 4. The product is good, in the form of: (a) academic achievement in the National Examination achievement, (b) non academic achievement, and (c) students’ winning various competitions.There fore the role of the principal’s entrepreneurship compe-tency is said to be good and successful.

Abstract

Moral Values and Attitudes of Leaders Against the Life of Society in Novel by Ratih Kumala. What are the moral values and attitudes of the characters towards people's lives in the novel Kretek Girl by Ratih Kumala. This study aims to describe the moral values and attitudes of the characters in the novel Kretek Girl by Ratih Kumala. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method, which is a method by systematically describing the facts and characteristics of objects and subjects that are precisely examined. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, namely data collection techniques by finding and collecting data on matters in the form of data, transcripts, books, newspapers, magazines, minutes, report cards, agendas and so on. The main document used in this study is the novel Kretek Girl by Ratih Kumala. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that moral values and attitudes towards people's lives can be taken in Ratih Kumala's novel Kretek Girl, that we must strive to achieve success in living life, not depend on others, respect and respect each other, we must be devoted to parents, and we must maintain the trust of others, not to divulge the secrets of others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether learning motivation in Mathematics subjects could be improved by the use of group guidance services for class X students at Rimau Island 1 High School. The problem in this study was students' low mathematics learning motivation. The problem of this study is whether the motivation to learn on Mathematics subjects can be improved by using group guidance services for class X students at Rimau Island 1 High School. The method used in this study was the pre-experimental method with the design of one group pretest-posttest, and analyzed by non-parametric statistics using the Wilcoxon test. The research subjects were 8 students who had low motivation to learn Mathematics. The results obtained in the study showed that motivation to learn Mathematics had a significant increase after the provision of group guidance services. This is indicated by the results of the pretest and posttest which obtained zcount = -2.521 and ztable 0.05 = 4. Because zcount <ztable then, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a significant difference with the level of 5% between the motivation to learn Mathematics before being treated and after being given treatment with group guidance services to the research subjects. Conclusions in this study motivation to learn Mathematics can be improved using group guidance services. Suggestions given to students should take group guidance services if they experience difficulties in increasing motivation to learn Mathematics. Suggestions for guidance and counseling teachers should be able to help students increase motivation to learn Mathematics through the use of guidance and group services and subsequent researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and assessment of character education at the Palembang School of Nature. The research methodology used in this research is qualitative-descriptive research where data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation. The results obtained are: a) character education planning conducted by principals and teachers every year. The highly emphasized character values are religious characters; b) Implementation of character education is done by integrating character values through teaching and extracurricular activities; c) Character education assessments are conducted by classroom teachers and seen in the application of the student's character values when students are at school and the presence of an assessment indicator that will be an evaluation for teachers and principals to give to parents. The conclusion that the planning, execution, and assessment of character education at Palembang Natural School is good. Suggestions that researchers can further examine the imposition of character values in other schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Class Teachers in the formation of character of students as well as factors that influence the role of teachers in the formation of character of students. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study state that the role of Class Teachers as educators is realized by directing the talents and abilities of students, being responsible and realizing authority. Class Teachers as instructors are realized by planning and implementing learning. Class Teachers as role models are manifested in exemplary appearance, association, and concern for the environment. Class Teachers as trainers are realized by building awareness of students, carrying out the character taught with teachers and students.

Abstract

Abstract— Guidance and Counseling, which is part of the world of schooling must also be able to utilize information technology to complete the tasks of guidance services. A lot of software has been released for it and can be utilized in providing services to learners. Guidance and Counseling as a process of providing assistance to individuals (students), which can be implemented through various services. The service is currently, at a time of growing, not only can be done face to face directly, but also can take advantage of media or information technology available. The goal is to continue to provide guidance and counseling in ways that are more interesting, interactive, and unlimited places, but also keep in mind the principles and codes of ethics in guidance and counseling. There are so many benefits that can be obtained from computer technology in supporting professional work counselor, then the counselor needs to know the potential of what is contained in computer technology, there are at least 8 (eight) potential of Internet-based computer technology. Keywords— Counseling, Information and Communication Technology  Abstrak— Bimbingan dan Konseling, yang merupakan bagian dari dunia persekolahan haruslah juga mampu memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas layanan bimbingan. Banyak perangkat lunak yang telah dirilis untuk itu dan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam memberikan layanan kepada peserta didik. Bimbingan dan Konseling sebagai suatu proses pemberian bantuan kepada individu (siswa), yang dapat dilaksanakan melalui berbagai macam layanan. Layanan tersebut saat ini, pada saat zaman semakin berkembang, tidak hanya dapat dilakukan dengan tatap muka secara langsung, tapi juga bisa dengan memanfaatkan media atau teknologi informasi yang ada. Tujuannya adalah tetap memberikan bimbingan dan konseling dengan cara-cara yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan tidak terbatas tempat, tetapi juga tetap memperhatikan asas-asas dan kode etik dalam bimbingan dan konseling. Abstract

Abstract—The development of the world of education is entering a very important period. Not only in an effort to provide quality and optimal education services. But it is also an important period that will determine the continuation of education itself. Today, the challenges in education are increasingly complex and require very serious preparation and thinking. We are faced with a rapid and non-linear change. This is as a result of the rolling of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. These technological advancements enable automation in almost all fields. As we know, the first generation industrial revolution was marked by the use of steam engines to replace human and animal power. The second generation, through the application of the concept of mass production and the use of electricity. The third generation, marked by the use of automation technology in industrial activities. In the fourth industrial revolution, it became a big leap for the industrial sector, where information and communication technology was fully utilized. The hustle and bustle of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which was accompanied by the development of a disruption era, was suddenly shocked by the emergence of Society 5.0 (community 5.0). The concept of Society 5.0 has actually been rolling for a long time. This concept appears in the "Basic Policy on Economic and Fiscal Management and Reform 2016" which is a core part of the strategic plan adopted by the Japanese Cabinet, January 2016. The concept of Society 5.0 was adopted by the Japanese Government in anticipation of global trends as a result of the emergence of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Society 5.0 is a natural thing that must have happened due to the rise of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has given birth to various innovations in the industrial world and also society in general. Society 5.0 is the answer to the challenges that arose as a result of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era accompanied by disruption characterized by a world of turmoil, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. Society 5.0 is a society that can solve various social challenges and problems by utilizing various innovations that were born in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 such as the Internet on Things (artificial internet), Artificial Intelligence, Big Data (large amounts of data), and robots to improve the quality of human life. Society 5.0, a time in which human-centered societies balance economic progress with the resolution of social problems by systems that integrate cyberspace and physical space. Society 5.0 will balance economic development and solve social problems. Keyword— Society 5.0 will balance economic development and solve social problems. Abstrak—Perkembangan dunia pendidikan tengah memasuki masa yang sangat penting. Tidak saja dalam upaya memberikan pelayanan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan optimal. Tetapi juga masa penting yang akan menentukan kelanjutan pendidikan itu sendiri. Saat ini, tantangan dunia pendidikan semakin kompleks dan menuntut persiapan dan pemikiran yang sangat serius. Kita dihadapkan pada suatu perubahan yang cepat dan non-linear. Ini sebagai akibat bergulirnya era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Kemajuan teknologi ini memungkinkan otomatisasi di hampir semua bidang. Sebagaimana kita tahu revolusi industri generasi pertama ditandai oleh penggunaan mesin uap untuk menggantikan tenaga manusia dan hewan. Generasi kedua, melalui penerapan konsep produksi massal dan mulai dimanfaatkannya tenaga listrik. Generasi ketiga, ditandai dengan penggunaan teknologi otomasi dalam kegiatan industri. Pada revolusi industri keempat, menjadi lompatan besar bagi sektor industri, di mana teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dimanfaatkan sepenuhnya. Belum usai hiruk-pikuk akibat Revolusi Industri 4.0, yang dibarengi berkembangan era disrupsi, tiba-tiba kita dikejutkan dengan munculnya Society 5.0 (masyarakat 5.0). Konsep Society 5.0 sebenarnya sudah bergulir cukup lama. Konsep ini muncul dalam “Basic Policy on Economic and Fiscal Management and Reform 2016” yang merupakan bagian inti dari rencana strategis yang diadopsi Kabinet Jepang, Januari 2016. Konsep Society 5.0 diadopsi Pemerintah Jepang sebagai antisipasi terhadap tren global sebagai akibat dari munculnya Revolusi Industri 4.0. Society 5.0 adalah hal alami yang pasti terjadi akibat munculnya Revolusi Industri 4.0. Revolusi Industri 4.0 telah melahirkan berbagai inovasi dalam dunia industri dan juga masyarakat secara umum. Society 5.0 merupakan jawaban atas tantangan yang muncul akibat era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang dibarengi disrupsi yang ditandai dunia yang penuh gejolak, ketidakpastian, kompleksitas, dan ambiguitas. Society 5.0 adalah masyarakat yang dapat menyelesaikan berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan sosial dengan memanfaatkan berbagai inovasi yang lahir di era Revolusi industri 4.0 seperti Internet on Things (internet untuk segala sesuatu), Artificial Intelligence (kecerdasan buatan), Big Data (data dalam jumlah besar), dan robot untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia. Society 5.0, sebuah masa di mana masyarakat berpusat pada manusia yang menyeimbangkan kemajuan ekonomi dengan penyelesaian masalah sosial oleh sistem yang mengintegrasikan ruang dunia maya dan ruang fisik. Society 5.0 akan menyeimbangkan pembangunan ekonomi dan menyelesaikan masalah sosial. Kata kunci— Society 5.0 akan menyeimbangkan pembangunan ekonomi dan menyelesaikan masalah sosial.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article, want to describe some values of mathematical characters that appear in the implementation of learning mathematics through a model of learning based on kontruktivisme. The learning process that is carried out in the learning of mathematics is very diverse learning model used. Because the learning model used adapted to the goals to be achieved. even the values karakakter who want raised in the process of learning mathematics can we specify and adjusted to the material discussed. The method of writing this article used the method of literature and data used document data from some research results use of constructivism-based learning model in the process of learning mathematics. The problems that will be discussed in this article "What are the values of mathematical characters contained in the process of learning mathematics using constructivism-based learning model?"

Abstract

Background this study was carried out to improve the teaching and learning process is carried out by teachers through a series of systematic improvements to increase the competence of professionals. This journal aims to find out the clinical supervision program, stages of implementation of the clinical supervision, and supporting factors as well as a barrier. This research was carried out in accordance with measures of clinical supervision according to Sergiovany in Kristiawan (2019), namely; 1) meeting before observation; 2) supervisors observing teachers; 3) analysis and strategy; 4) meeting after observations; 5) analysis of activities after the observation. Results to be achieved are able to enhance the professionalism of teachers in order to solve problems and overcome barriers in SDN 9 Island Rimau through clinical supervision.

Abstract

Abstract— The SAVI learning model is a lesson that emphasizes that learning must utilize all the sensory devices that students have. The purpose of the research is to determine whether or not the influence of learning model SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually) to the mathematical communication ability of SMP Negeri 41 Palembang students. The population in this study is all students of class VII which amounted to 230. Samples taken in this study are class VII.1 which amounted to 30 students as an experimental class using SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy) and class VII.2 which amounted to 30 students as control class by using conventional learning. The design of experimental method used is Posttest-Only Control Design. Technique of collecting data using test technique. Data were analyzed by using independent sample t test, with significant level of 5%. The result of this research is there is significant influence between SAVI learning model (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually) to the mathematical communication ability of students of Junior High School 41 Palembang Keywords— Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually, Mathematical Communication. Abstrak— Model pembelajaran SAVI adalah pembelajaran yang menekankan bahwa belajar haruslah memanfaatkan semua alat indra yang dimiliki siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 41 Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 230. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII.1 yang berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy) dan kelas VII.2 yang berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Bentuk desain metode eksperimen yang digunakan yaitu Posttest-Only Control Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan independen sample t test, dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 41 Palembang Kata Kunci— Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually, Komunikasi matematis.
