Abstract

Physical activity not only improves health status and reduces disease, but also has benefits on individual cognitive function. Several studies state that regular physical activity can improve creative thinking, and cognitive factors are needed for invention and innovation. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creativity in college students through physical activity. This study uses an experimental approach in the field with an observational action pattern, the research design is two group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were college students of class 2018, 2019, and 2020 at the department of Sport Coaching Education, State University of Surabaya. In this study using a purposive sampling technique which was divided into two groups, namely AB and AJ, and each group consisted of 30 college students, so that the total sample in this study as many as 60 college students. Pre-test and post-test using the E-Char application to determine the level of creativity. The results showed that post-test results in both groups increased creativity, but the highest increase occurred in the AJ group who had been given physical activity treatment for 14 meetings. The results of the Mann-Whitney difference test showed a value of p = 0.000 (<0.05) which concluded that there was a significant difference in groups AB and AJ. In conclusion, groups that do physical activity for 7 weeks with a frequency of 2 times per week (14 meetings) can increase college students creativity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the formation of student respect through traditional games. The research method used is an experimental research design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used to collect research data is to use a questionnaire. The population in the study were all students of class V-A SDN Cipagalo 01, with the sampling technique using total sampling, the sample in this study was the entire population with a total of 25 students. After doing the treatment and collecting data, the results of the study showed that the average value of students' respect attitude between the initial test and the final test there was a significant difference after learning through traditional games. From the results of the t-test analysis, it was also found that the t-count significance value of 12.53 was greater than the t-table 1.71 (12.53>1.71), which means that it can be said that through traditional games the attitude of respect for students can be more formed. The conclusion is that traditional games have a significant influence on the formation of respect for students in grades V-A at SDN Cipagalo 01. Now is the time when we must be able to preserve traditional games, it is appropriate as educators to introduce children to traditional games even though in the current age of globalization, especially from an early age, child development is very much needed for the sake of children's physical and mental development. the role of parents to accompany their children is very important for the future of a child.

Abstract

Servis dalam permainan tenis penting, karena selain sebagai pembuka dalam suatu pertandingan, servis dapat memberikan poin jika masuk ke area lawan secara sah tanpa dapat mengembalikannya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk melihat sejauh mana hasil program latihan keterampilan tenis lapangan pada mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Semester Ganjil di FKIP Universitas Halu Oleo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Semester Ganjil FKIP Universitas Halu Oleo yang membuka 959 mahasiswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yang diambil dengan syarat siswa aktif, laki-laki, dan juga aktif mengikuti kursus tenis sehingga diambil sampel 20 siswa. Instrumen akurasi pukulan servis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan “Tes Prestasi Tenis Hewitt” dari AAHPER yang memiliki nilai validitas dan reliabilitas tertentu, nilai validitasnya adalah 0,93 sedangkan nilai reliabilitasnya adalah 0,94. Penelitian ini melihat perbedaan antara tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test) dengan orang eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan selama 30 kali latihan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh rata-rata serviceability pada saat pre-test adalah 34 poin, dengan standar deviasi 0,2, sedangkan rata-rata serviceability pada post-test adalah 42 poin, dengan standar deviasi 0,9 Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil service yang signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test setelah latihan diberikan secara teratur. Penelitian ini melihat perbedaan antara tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test) dengan orang eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan selama 30 kali latihan. Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of physical activities and sports carried out by adolescents in maintaining their physical fitness outside of physical education learning at school. Especially to test the physical activity carried out without using the tool for one month with the number of meetings 10 times. The application of physical activity and exercise is carried out 2 or 3 times per week with a duration of 30 minutes. The research method used is experimental. Participants who took part in this study were 66 students consisting of 45 male students and 16 female students. Physical fitness measurements were carried out using the Yo-Yo Intermittent Endurance Test Level 2. Deeper sports participation, this study divided into outdoor sports and not using tools, both of which were associated with physical activity. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of the mean difference test in the control group obtained t0 of 10.392 and ttable of 2.035 with degrees of freedom (db) 32 and = 0.05. The hypothesis is that there are differences in the average physical fitness of students who are not given physical activity and sports treatment. While the results of statistical analysis of the experimental group obtained t0 of 21.582 and ttable 2.035 with degrees of freedom (db) 32 and = 0.05. The hypothesis is that there are differences in physical fitness in students who are given physical activity and sports treatment. the conclusion is that physical activity and sports support the improvement of physical fitness in adolescent students who are physically active at least once every 2-3 weeks. However, the shortcoming of this study was that it did not see what physical activities and sports the participants did outside of the treatment given.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the interval training method on increasing VO2Max capacity. There are many methods that can increase a person's VO2Max Capacity, including the interval training method. This type of research is a quasi-experimental conducted on badminton athletes at State University of Padang. The population of this study was badminton athletes who joined the sport activity unit of State University of Padang badminton, totaling 21 people. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. This technique is carried out based on the consideration of the researcher. So the number of samples in this study was 10 people. The data collection technique used is VO2Max, namely the Bleep Test. The data that has been collected is used to test the hypothesis using the t test. before the t-test is carried out, the analysis requirements test is carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneity ui test. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test statistics can be concluded as follows: The interval method significantly affects the increase in VO2Max capacity where it is obtained tcount (14.18) > t table (2.26) and the mean difference is 2.41. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the interval training method on increasing the VO2Max capacity of badminton athletes in the State University of Padang sports activity unit.

Abstract

Rendahnya kecepatan atlet karate merupakan masalah yang harus segera diatasi. Kecepatan sangat penting bagi atlet karate agar dapat melakukan serangan dan menghindar dengan cepat. Dalam pertandingan sesungguhnya, para karateka akan mengerahkan seluruh kemampuannya termasuk menyerang dengan menggunakan kaki. Kecepatan mencolok penting untuk mendapatkan poin bagus untuk menang dalam kompetisi besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecepatan umum atlet karate junior Sumatera Barat. Penelitian survey dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran tingkat kecepatan atlet karate junior Sumbar yang akan berlaga di kejuaraan nasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet karate junior yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sensus sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Atlet' Data kecepatan s diperoleh dengan menggunakan uji langkah tangga. Setelah data kecepatan atlet diperoleh, data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecepatan yang dimiliki oleh atlet karate junior Sumbar berada pada kategori cukup. Sehingga pelatih dan pengurus diharapkan dapat memberikan latihan kecepatan kedepannya untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja atlet karateka.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop self-assessment in physical education, sports and volleyball, using an online form jotform for class X at SMA N 1 Batipuh. Based on observations made by researchers at SMA N 1 Batipuh, so that students are able to do a self-assessment on the physical education of the lower service volleyball which is difficult to understand the material and the achievement is not optimal and knows mistakes, making it easier for the teacher to make assessments and subsequent actions. This type of research is the development of the IDI model. The research subjects were 3 FIK UNP lecturers, one physical education teacher, and 31 students. The object of self-assessment research in the physical education of volleyball underserved using the jotform. The validity and practicality research data obtained directly are 86.76% very feasible, the practicality of teachers is 92.76% very feasible and practicality students for 90.77% are very valid.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to develop a learning model of sepak takraw material according to students' characteristics, (2) to measure the effectiveness of packing models that have been developed (3) to test the effectiveness of learning models that have been developed to improve basic technique sepak takraw skills. This research is a research and development consisting of two stages, they are: preliminary stage and development stage. The preliminary stage consisted of: observation and field study. The development stage consisted of: initial drafting, expert validation, small-scale trials, large-scale trials, the final products, and effectiveness tests. Expert validation involved 2 experts with delphi techniques. Field test design used times series design. Techniques using to collect the data was observation and interview. Data analysis to determine validity used Content Validity Ratio (CVR). Data analysis for effectiveness used Sample Paired t Test. The results of the development learning of sepak takraw were (1) the product of the learning model sepak takraw for student, (2) the implementation of a safe learning model, easy and fun to do and (3) the product is effective to improve the skills of sepak takraw students from psychomotor values. The results of expert assessment of the model product developing had a validation value of 1 entered in the eligible category. The result of analysis of the values got the result of significance of Sig2 tiled <0.5., the mean at test of effectivity psychomotor value of 6.6000 had increased to 7.5200. So it can be concluded that the model was affective to improve basic technique of students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mental imagery training on increasing Athletes' Confidence in facing the competition at the Futsal Athletes of the Musi Banyuasin Club, South Sumatra. This type of research is an experiment with the design of "The One Group Pretest-Postest Design". The population in this study were athletes at the Musi Banyuasin Futsal Club, South Sumatra, totaling 24 athletes. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data analysis using t-test with significance level. The method in this study is an experimental design with a pretest-posttest design group. The data were analyzed using t-test statistics. The results showed that the average self-confidence pretest was 71.67, and posttest was 92.50. While the results of hypothesis testing with a 95% confidence level or an error rate 5%, indicated by the coefficient value tcount > ttable or 10,618 > 1,714, then reject Ho and accept Ha, meaning the hypothesis which reads There is an effect of Imagery Exercise on increasing Athletes' Confidence Futsal in facing the match accepted the truth.
