Abstract

The development of learning media by utilizing technological developments can improve learning and the delivery of information. This study aims to develop and produce an iSpring suite application product that contains basic basketball techniques for students of the Department of Physical Education, Health and Recreation, Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Malang. This development method uses Research and Development by Lee & Own (2004) with five stages, namely 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation and 5) evaluation. Based on the results of the study of data from basketball experts, the percentage was 96%, learning experts were 90.4%, media experts were 98.2%, and involved 40 students of the PJKR Department. The distribution of small group trials was carried out on students of the 2020 PJKR Department, totaling 10 respondents with 2 male students and 8 female students. For the large group trial, there were 30 respondents with 12 male students and 18 female students. The trial results obtained 90% small group and 91% large group. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the product development of learning materials for basic basketball techniques based on this application is very valid and suitable for use by students of the PJKR FIK UM Department

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management function of sports organizations in the Management of the Bono River Community (BRC) of Meranti Bay. Information mining is obtained through a qualitative descriptive approach with structured interview data collection techniques with tools in the form of interview guidelines, notebooks, and documentation. The research data processing stage is carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Analysis of management functions is the result of a way of solving problems through the process of planning, organizing, mobilizing, supervising, and assessing to obtain the desired results. To eliminate differences in the construction of reality that exist in the context of a study while collecting data on events and relationships from different views, researchers used source triangulation techniques. The results of this study show that the analysis of the management function of sports organizations in the Meranti Bay Bono River Community (BRC) Management is considered ineffective.

Abstract

The problem in this study is to determine the evaluation of tennis sports coaching in Pekanbaru City through management organizations, facilities and infrastructure, athlete development, coaches, funding, training programs, and parental support. This type of research uses the CIPP evaluation model, namely (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documents. Data analysis techniques through: (1) data reduction (2) data presentation (3) data collection (4) conclusions and data verification (5) final conclusions. The results of research through context are still quite good because the athletes, coaches are not accompanied in such a way by the administrators. In terms of input through management organizations, facilities and infrastructure, coaching athletes, coaches, funding, training programs, and parental support is still quite good. Apart from that, the process which includes funding, training programs and parental support is still quite good because there is still a lot that needs to be fixed. In terms of product, the achievements achieved are still relatively low, because the athletes who perform at this club can only compete at the Riau level, for the National level it still needs to be improved in sustainable development. In conclusion, the evaluation of tennis sports development in Pekanbaru City based on context, input, process and product perspectives is in a fairly good category.

This experimental study uses a 2x2 factorial design to determine the effect of variables with various main factors, and the combination of variable levels and the effect of interactions between factors on physical fitness levels. With a total sample of 30 men and 30 women aged 20-29 years. Based on the results of the research conducted, the male gender for low impact got the initial test score of 507.7 for the final test of 560.8 then the male high impact on the initial test of 548.2 for the final test of 628, Second, the female gender on the initial low impact test was 439.6 for the final test of 521.4 on the high impact female initial test of 496.9 and the final test was 583.9. Based on the results of research and discussions that have been carried out, it can be understood that: (1). Overall, there is an increase in physical fitness (Vo2Max) at the Jambi City KOPKI Club as evidenced by the significance value smaller than the 0.05 level as shown in the Hypothesis Testing table. (2). There are differences in the increase in physical fitness (Vo2Max) to aerobic exercise and gender at the KOPKI Gymnastics Club Jambi City seen in the number of test results for each group.

Abstract

Condition of basketball lectures during the covid-19 pandemic which was carried out in a hybrid manner, resulting in less than optimal learning activities. In addition, based on each individual's different learning styles such as audio, visual and kinesthetic, it is important to have new learning media to help increase the effectiveness and attractiveness of learning activities. The purpose of this research is to develop a new learning media based on audio podcasts that can be accessed through the spotify platform. The method used is a research model from Lee & Owen's ADDIE theory (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection technique used a questionnaire filled out by research subjects, namely PJKR FIK UM students. This study went through several validation stages with details of 1 basketball material expert who produced an average of 92.48%, 1 learning expert with an average of 97.20 % and 1 media expert with an average of 92.80%. So that the product is declared feasible and valid for group testing. In the small group trial phase with 10 respondents consisting of 6 women and 4 men, the average calculation was 85.72%. Meanwhile, in a large group trial with 30 respondents, each 16 women and 14 men, the average calculation was 94%. It can be concluded that the development of podcast-based audio learning media is valid and feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

Inactive behavior is closely related to today's technological advances. The school curriculum has reduced students' physical activity because they have more time to participate in academic activities. In children and adolescents, this physical fitness is often forgotten, even though it is very useful to support physical work capacity which is expected to improve their performance. This study aims to create a physical activity program to improve physical fitness in elementary school students. The research method used is ADDIE. Participants in this study were elementary school students total 75 children (49 boys and 26 girls). The instruments used in collecting data were questionnaires and physical fitness tests. The findings of this study indicate that the physical activity program according to expert review is as follows: 1) facilities and infrastructure, 2) adjust the number of sets, duration of implementation, and repetition of each model item, and 3) group the types of activities. 5) arrange each daily physical activity learning program. Meanwhile, from the test results, it is known that this physical activity learning program is feasible and can be carried out by students. While the effectiveness data shows that the physical activity program developed can improve students' physical fitness with a minimum duration of 30 minutes for 3 days a week. The physical activity program developed has proven successful in increasing students' active behavior outside of physical education learning and shows that the movements that are arranged are feasible and effective in improving physical fitness in elementary school students.
