Abstract

Learning Arabic is a compulsory subject for Islamic religious institutions under the Ministry of Religion in the Republic of Indonesia. The State Islamic Institute of Religion (IAIN) Parepare is a State Religious University where every study program other than the Arabic Language Education study program teaches Arabic courses at least 2 credits. So far, learning Arabic seems difficult and not easily understood by students, so that students' interest in learning is also low. To answer these problems, the design of teaching materials based on local wisdom is made to be closer to the situations and conditions of student life. This is also in line with the vision of IAIN Parepare as a Center for Acculturation of Culture and Islam in building a religious, moderate, innovative and superior society. This type of research is development research that seeks to develop Arabic teaching materials that are integrated with local culture. Development of teaching material design using the Addie Model (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) teaching material development design. The results show that the design of Arabic teaching materials based on local wisdom is integrated as materials and mufradat that are often used in daily activities and the values of local wisdom of the Bugis community can affect the language learning process and increase students’ willingness to learn.

Abstract

This simple experiment is entitled analysis of students' interest in learning physics towards online learning which aims to analyze students' learning interest in online learning in physics lessons. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The research sample was 136 students of SMA Negeri 15 Wajo who were randomly selected from the seven classes X, XI and XII MIPA. The results showed that the lowest percentage of the indicator of interest in learning physics was the attention of students to learning physics online, while the highest percentage was the indicator of interest in learning, namely the involvement of students in learning physics online. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning interest of students at the beginning of online physics learning can be categorized as good and has considerable involvement during learning, but over time, students' interest in learning physics online decreases due to boredom and boredom. begin to be felt by students

Abstract

Pendidikan Entrepreneurship atau Pendidikan kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi merupakan topik yang hangat diperbincangkan. Dalam satu dekade terakhir, jumlah publikasi tentang pendidikan entrepreneursip di berbagai perguruan tinggi mengalami tren peningkatan. Akan tetapi, reviu tentang potret pendidikan Entrepreneurship di Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia belum ada. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sebuah analisa komprehensif tentang gambaran pendidikan entrepreneurship di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dalam satu dekade terakhir. Temuan dari publikasi dari jurnal-jurnal terindeks sinta yang ada menunjukkan bahwa jumlah publikasi pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir adalah 54 buah artikel yang didominasi oleh topic pendidikan entrepreneurship di perguruan tinggi. Lebih lanjut penelitian yang dipublikasi tersebut didominasi oleh penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan pendidikan entrepreneurship di perguruan tinggi mulai diperhatikan dengan serius.

Abstract

Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dominasi metode microteaching dalam pembelajaran inovatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, kami mendalaminya untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci yang mendorong popularitas metode ini. Hasil analisis menyoroti beberapa elemen utama yang mendukung dominasi metode microteaching. Pertama, keefektifan metode ini menjadi poin fokus utama. Kemampuan metode microteaching untuk memberikan umpan balik langsung dan terukur kepada guru dan instruktur telah membantu mereka mengasah keterampilan pengajaran mereka dengan cara yang tidak mungkin dengan metode lain. Fleksibilitas adalah faktor lain yang mendukung popularitasnya. Metode ini dapat dengan mudah diadaptasi dalam berbagai konteks pembelajaran, dari pengajaran klasikal hingga online, yang sangat relevan dalam era pendidikan yang terus berkembang. Biaya yang terjangkau menjadikan metode ini dapat diakses oleh sebagian besar guru tanpa mengkhawatirkan kendala finansial. Selain itu, kendali guru atas proses pembelajaran dalam metode ini memberikan mereka rasa tanggung jawab yang lebih besar terhadap pengembangan keterampilan mereka. Selain itu, pengurangan kecemasan dalam lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih kecil dan terkendali membantu guru merasa lebih nyaman dan kurang tertekan.

Abstract

Handedness is a human asymmetry defined as the preference for using one hand to perform unimanual activities. It has been associated with various cognitive abilities, including visuospatial skills. Visuospatial ability is interpreted as an individual's capacity to understand the relationship between the visual and spatial aspects of a specific object in two or three dimensions and space. Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) is one of the state universities primarily focused on science and technology, requiring students to develop their visuospatial skills. This research aims to analyze the differences in visuospatial ability between students with a preference for using the right hand and those with a preference for using the left hand at Institut Teknologi Sumatera. The study utilized interview methods through handedness questionnaires, visuospatial ability questionnaires, and hand strength measurements using a hand dynamometer. The respondents in this research numbered 393 individuals, aged between 17-23 years. The study revealed that there were 30 left-handed individuals, comprising 18 males and 12 females. Ambidexterity was found in 11 males and 13 females, subsequently categorized as left-handed in the analysis. The results of the visuospatial ability test indicated that the average scores of left-handed respondents were better than those of right-handed respondents (46.39 > 43.39). Male respondents exhibited superior visuospatial ability compared to females (estimate: 1.3798; p-value: 0.0272).

Abstract

Community empowerment is an effort to develop community independence and welfare by increasing abilities, knowledge, attitudes, skills, behavior, awareness, and utilizing resources through establishing policies, programs, activities and assistance that are in accordance with the essence of problems and priority needs of the community. The modus operandi for realizing the essence of empowerment is shown by several approaches, one of which is through hegemony in realizing optimal empowerment as studied in this research, namely: Hegemony of Power in the Political Paradigm of Local Empowerment of Woven Fabrics in Ende Regency, the aim is to describe the disintegration of elite interests within the framework of hegemony using a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that within the political scope of local empowerment of woven cloth in Ende Regency, there is a hegemony that is built based on policy and the encouragement of power to drive empowerment programs which include the authority of the government and the private sector to distribute resources, as well as the community as subjects or targets gathered in the empowerment trichotomy. . The references and recommendations from this study are efforts to optimize empowerment by creating a conducive space and providing protection to the community as the target of empowerment so that resource exploitation does not occur so that the community can develop, be independent and empowered. Abstract

This article discusses the cultural values ​​contained in the marriage customs of the Komering tribe of South Sumatra, as an effort to preserve South Sumatra's local culture. which aims to discover the cultural values ​​contained in the cultural values ​​of the marriage customs of the Komering tribe community as a form of local wisdom of the Komering tribe community, Ogan Komering Ulu. Regency. Qualitative descriptive methods were used in this research to examine and understand the cultural values ​​of the marriage customs of the people of South Sumatra, especially the Komering tribe, in this case the traditional Corral Culture custom before the marriage contract procession. Data was obtained using observation, interviews, documentation and literature study techniques. The data were analyzed using data processing techniques resulting from data collection in the field by direct observation of the community at the wedding procession of the Palembang community, specifically for the Komering tribe, at the data analysis stage through a qualitative approach, where the data collected is not in the form of numbers but rather by collecting data using interview and observation guidelines The results of the research are the lack of implementation of this traditional cage culture among the people of South Sumatra, so there is a need to study this traditional cage culture through efforts to provide outreach to the community, related parties, in this case the traditional cultural figures, the education sector. arts and culture, through direct promotion, verbal promotion (word of mouth) Leaflets, posters, newspapers.

Abstract

Remaja ketika meninggalkan rumah untuk menetap di lingkungan baru dapat berpeluang mengalami kerinduan yang mendalam terhadap rumah atau homesickness di tahun pertama perpindahan. Homesickness dapat berdampak negatif bagi seseorang sehingga dibutuhkan pemberian dukungan sosial salah satunya dari teman sebaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana keterkaitan dukungan dari teman sebaya dengan santri yang mengalami homesickness. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada seluruh santri MTs IGBS Darul Marhamah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada keterkaitan yang negatif dengan taraf sedang dan signifikan, antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan homesickness pada santri di MTs IGBS Darul Marhamah khususnya di tahun pertama. Ketika dukungan dari teman sebaya diperoleh para santri yang merujuk pada kenyamanan, kepedulian serta bantuan yang tersedia, memiliki peran untuk menurunkan tingkat homesickness yang dirasakan oleh para santri berupa keadaan emosional yang negative yang dikarenakan terpisah dari rumah dan figure terdekat. Selain itu dukungan informasi menjadi dukungan yang paling banyak dirasakan keberadaannya oleh santri. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan untuk santri dapat melakukan kegiatan atau hobi bersama dengan teman untuk menumbuhkan relasi yang positif di pesantren.

Abstract

The use of electricity in the world continues to increase over time, the main source of producing electricity in the world is coal which is a basic material that takes a long time to form. Since 2021, British patrol has recorded that coal supplies in the world are available at 1,074,108 million tonnes. In Indonesia, coal still provides 60% of the country's electricity supply and the other 40% uses other energy such as water, steam, gas and other energy. New renewable energy development goals through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in utilizing wind energy through vertical axis wind turbines. The research made three turbine models with different shapes, which then collected voltage data with an air compressor. The experimental results show that the average voltage generated by the two turbine models is 240 mV and 229 mV respectively. For the third model using two sampling methods obtained 353 mV and 292 mV. The use of vertical shaft wind turbines can be used in urban areas, especially in some tall buildings and parks. Research can still be developed by adding several other factors such as wind speed, turbine rotation speed and the aerodynamics of the turbine shape. and using a dc generator that requires a small torque so that it can increase the electric power produced. Abstract

Mengidentifikasi kesejahteraan siswa adalah hal yang penting karena hal tersebut merupakan indikasi dari masalah perilaku atau kesuksesan siswa (Arslan & Renshaw, 2018). Dampak pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa diantaranya mengalami stres dan merasakan emosi tidak menyenangkan lainnya selama pembelajaran online. Seiring dengan rencana jangka panjang Unjani yang tertuang dalam Rencana Induk Jangka Panjang 2020-2040, yaitu menyediakan akses dan kesempatan pendidikan tinggi yang bermutu bagi masyarakat luas dengan mengedepankan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mutakhir guna meningkatkan jangkauan layanan pendidikan tinggi dari Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani. Selama pandemi belajar online menjadi hal yang paling penting dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh lingkungan pembelajaran online terhadap kondisi kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa di Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, besar pengaruh ditunjukan dari hasil analisa regresi dan didapatkan sebesar 31.8%. Saran dari hasil penelitian adalah memperhatikan kesiapan dari segi lingkungan perkuliahan dan sumber daya dari pengguna sistem pembelajaran secara online, baik pengelola maupun kesiapan dari mahasiswa dalam menjalankannya. Dari segi kondisi psikologis maka perlu adanya sosialisasi yang merata terkait sistem dari pembelajaran online bagi dosen, tenaga kependidikan dan mahasiswa sehingga mampu mempersiapkan diri akan adanya transisi perubahan dalam hal sistem pembelajaran secara online.
