Abstract

The primary objective of this study was to explore the utilization of the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) technique in the analysis of investment decisions, specifically within the Oil & Gas Production & Refinery Sector. Five stocks belonging to this sector were selected for examination, all of which are publicly traded on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The study period encompassed November 2022 to October 2023, and the chosen stocks were Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk, Energi Mega Persada Tbk, Medco Energi Internasional Tbk, Super Energy Tbk, and Mitra Investindo Tbk. In this research, linear regression analysis was employed to determine the beta coefficient for the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) method. This allowed for a comparison between the anticipated returns and the stock market's rate of return during the observation period. The aim was to distinguish between undervalued and overvalued stocks. Data for this analysis was sourced from www.yahoo.finance.com The findings of the study revealed that four out of the five companies within the Oil & Gas Production & Refinery Sector exceeded the expected returns, indicating that they were undervalued or considered efficient. These companies were Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk, Energi Mega Persada Tbk, Super Energy Tbk, and Mitra Investindo Tbk. On the other hand, Medco Energi Internasional Tbk was categorized as overvalued or inefficient.

Abstract

Abstract— Transportation is a means of mobility of people or goods from one place to another. Apart from that, transportation is a means of supporting interaction activities with fellow humans. By having adequate means or means of transportation, social and economic life activities will be supported. The currently popular means of personal transportation are means of transportation powered by oil, gas, and electricity. This research aims to find out the reasons why not many workers in Jakarta use electric cars as a means of daily transportation. This research uses non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques. Through interviews with 15 samples of Jakarta workers who use oil-fuelled cars which were then coded and analysed, this research has explained the reasons why workers in Jakarta do not use electric cars as daily transportation. The reason is that infrastructure facilities such as SPKLU (Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations) and special workshops for electric cars are not yet available in many places, causing workers in Jakarta to be overly concerned about using or buying electric cars.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the main aim of analyzing sustainable practices in sheep farming, focusing on a case study conducted at 72 Al-Fath Farm. A case study approach was used as a research method to dig deeper into the practices implemented in the context of sustainable sheep farming. The grounded theory method was chosen as the research framework, allowing the researcher to gain an in-depth understanding of various aspects of sustainable practices in sheep farming, including operational management, marketing strategies, and the implementation of environmentally friendly practices. The data collection process was carried out through in-depth interviews with owners and breeders at 72 Al-Fath Farm. The qualitative data obtained from the interviews was then analyzed using the grounded theory method. The results of the first analysis produced 61 codings, where the researcher gave labels or codes to relevant pieces of information from the interview results. Next, the second analysis grouped the codes into 8 categories that reflected the concepts that emerged from the data. Finally, the third analysis identified 3 general themes that reflect the essence of the findings, providing a broader understanding of sustainable practices in the sheep farming context. The results of this research show that 72 Al-Fath Farm implements sustainable practice patterns in various operational aspects. These findings provide valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities in implementing these practices, as well as their potential positive impact on the sustainability of sheep farming. It is hoped that the findings of this research will provide an important contribution to livestock practitioners, researchers, and decision makers in their efforts to improve sustainability in sheep farming. With a deeper understanding of sustainable practices, it is hoped that more effective strategies and policies can be developed to support sustainable sheep farming in the future
