Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran tentang gizi remaja, termasuk anemia dan pencegahannya, melalui pendekatan pendampingan berbasis sekolah yang melibatkan siswa, guru, dan pengelola kantin. Pada siswa, dilakukan promosi kesehatan dan gizi melalui kegiatan edukasi berbentul talkshow. Untuk pengelola kantin, diberikan sosialisasi tentang jajanan sehat dan bergizi serta pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas. Sementara itu, guru mendapatkan pengembangan kapasitas agar mampu menyampaikan informasi gizi remaja secara efektif. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung pola makan sehat dan mencegah masalah gizi pada remaja. Setelah program dilaksanakan, terdapat peningkatan rerata skor pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan (D=13,82;p=0.000), penjaja kantin (D=3,24;p=0.654), dan guru (D=26,00;p=0.005). Selain itu, penjaja kantin memberikan testimoni positif terhadap pelatihan pembuatan jajanan yang diberikan dan merasa mampu mempraktekkannya untuk menyediakan alternatif jajanan sehat di kantin sekolah. Bagi para guru yang dilatih berkomitmen untuk mengintegrasikan materi gizi remaja pada pembelajaran P5 di semester berikutnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program SUNSAGI meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman warga sekolah terhadap pentingnya upaya perbaikan gizi pada remaja dan meningkatkan kapasitas untuk pelaksanaan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Abstract.Improper medication management can lead to health risks, such as overdoses, side effects, and environmental pollution. The educational program on obtaining, storing, and disposing of medication aims to enhance public understanding of safe, effective, and responsible practices. This program is crucial as many people lack knowledge about legally obtaining medications, using them correctly, storing them to maintain quality, and disposing of them safely. The activity involved 44 participants, predominantly women over 45 years, with most having low educational backgrounds. Methods included lectures, practical simulations, group discussions, and evaluations through pretest and posttest. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' knowledge. Before the program, only 15.91 percent of participants were in the good category, increasing to 38.64 percent after the program. Those with sufficient knowledge also increased, while the poor category decreased from 27.27 percent to 18.18 percent. In conclusion, the program significantly enhanced participants' knowledge, showing that lecture and practical simulation methods significantly improved public health literacy

Abstract

This training program aims to empower marginalized women through a self-identity approach to overcome social stigma and enhance their economic independence. The program involved 20 participants from the Mattiro Deceng Women's Social Service Center (PPSKW) in Makassar. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and pre- and post-tests, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method to assess changes in self-awareness, social interaction, and economic independence among participants. The six-month training was carried out in six phases: preparation, partner mapping, personal and group approach, mentoring through self-identity, entrepreneurship development, and evaluation. The results show that empowering marginalized women through a self-identity approach has a significant positive impact on various aspects of the participants' lives. Overall, the self-identity approach combined with entrepreneurship training has proven to be an effective strategy for empowering marginalized women. This model can serve as a reference for other empowerment programs seeking to address social stigma and strengthen participants' economic independence.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase knowledge about the Dagusibu program to the community, especially elementary school children at SD Negeri 3 Abepura so that they understand medicine, namely how drugs are obtained, used, stored, and disposed of.  The method of service is action research. Participants in the service activities were 5th-grade students of SD Negeri 3 Abepura, namely 37 students. This service activity uses comic media to convey knowledge about dagusibu medicine, measuring the success of activities using questionnaire instruments given before and after the material is provided. Measurement of increased knowledge about dagusibu by calculating the number of correct questions on the questionnaire before and after the activity. The results of the service showed an increase in knowledge about Dagusibu in students of SD N 3 Abepura, namely an increase in knowledge of how to get medicine by 16%, how to use medicine by 22%, how to store medicine by 30% and how to dispose of medicine by 60%. This service concludes that there is increased knowledge about dagusibu medicine in SD Negeri 3 Abepura students.

Abstract

This Empowerment Program for Assisted Villages aims to develop an environmentally friendly red onion production center. The environmentally friendly technologies used include the application of plant-based biopesticides, enhanced organic liquid fertilizers, and organic fungicides. The activities were carried out through several stages, namely: (1) program socialization, (2) training, (3) technology implementation, (4) mentoring and evaluation, and (5) program sustainability stages. The sustainability of this program involves providing in-kind assistance to farmer groups. Evaluation is carried out by administering pre-tests and post-tests to the targeted farmer groups. The program's target farmer groups are the Anugerah farmer group (16.5 Ha) and the Passamuturukang farmer group (10.5 Ha).The results of this program implementation show that: (a) red onion productivity significantly; (b) the managerial ability of the farmer groups in managing red onion businesses increased; (c) the revenue of the farmer groups increased; (d) the knowledge of the farmer groups on seedling and red onion cultivation increased; and (e) the financial management understanding of the farmer groups increase. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this program successfully improved the farmers' capacity and red onion production through the implementation of environmentally friendly technology.
