Abstract

Bengkala Village in Buleleng Regency has been known as an area that is home to people with a hearing impairment. Their inability to communicate verbally like people in general does not make a group of people with disabilities unable to work. In this community service activity, people with disabilities in Bengkala Village are given training and guidance to produce incense that can be sold to people around and outside the village. Incense as a daily necessity product for the Balinese Hindu community, is a prospective business opportunity to be developed. Understanding the limitations of the people with disabilities, the accompanying method provided is the plasma system. As adopted Law No. 9 of 1995, this assistance was provided with an understanding of the conditions of the community, that's why, the directive approach is applied to community service activities. In its application, a directive approach is applied by adopting a plasma core pattern. Through the plasma method, the community is given technical guidance on production to be able to produce the expected number of products, both quality and quantity, it is about 20 kilograms per day.Key words: Bengkala Village, business, disability, group, insence

Abstract

Young people begin his/her entrepreneurial through entrepreneurship programs initiated by various institutions so millennials are increasingly aware of entrepreneurship, some have even engaged in a startup business. The big challenge is how to keep the business spirit alive among millennials and how to equip these studentpreneur in solving various challenges in their business so they can survive and succeed. Entreprenurship development program (Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan/PPK) at Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship Centre (Pusat Inkubator Bisnis dan Kewirausahaan /PIBK) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ) could answer these challenges. PPK PIBK UMJ collected business proposals from students, selected the business proposals for further funding (these are called tenants), provided the tenants with courses (marketing strategy, finance report and mind set entrepreneurship), monitored omzette and evaluated the productivity of tenants every three months from februari 2017 until januari 2018. Source of PPK PIBK UMJ were funded by Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia. There were 85 business proposals from UMJ students. 20 proposals were selected as tenants in PPK PIBK UMJ. Of the 20 tenants at the end of 2018, 5 tenants achieved omzette over 5 million IDRs per months with continuous productivity. These 5 tenants were considered as independent startups. In conclusion, PPK PIBK UMJ in 2018 yield 5 independent startups.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, startup business, student preneur, business incubator, tenants, independent startups

Abstract

Jurnal Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis (JKB) has p-ISSN and e-ISSN. In 2017 JKB socialization activities were carried out to publish the journal to all regions in Indonesia and to attract more varied writers, especially those from outside Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). Furthermore, JKB development activities are needed towards reputable journals by adopting the Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Regulation No. 1 of 2014 concerning Accreditation Guidelines for Scientific Issues. This study aims to improve the quality and capacity of management study centers, especially in managing Jurnal Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis towards reputable journals, such as by preparing national journal accreditation requirements. Activities that have been carried out included: initial coordination of activities, submitting to the national index institute, workshop on simulation of journal appraisal towards national accreditation, and workshop on the national accreditation program for JKB.Keywords: journal, institution, entrepreneurship, accreditation

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the problem (1) How to describe the level of education and sales turnover of entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru, (2) How to describe the benefits and types of entrepreneurial business in Pekanbaru, (3) Is there a relationship between profitability and entrepreneurial profile in Pekanbaru. The sample of this study was taken 60 entrepreneurs with pourporsive sampling. Data were analyzed with non-parametric statistics. the results of this study. Knowing the relationship between education level and entrepreneurial sales turnover in Pekanbaru. The level of education correlates with turnover and the number of employees this is indicated by the acquisition value of Sign <0.05, while the type of business, the level of education does not correlate with earnings, gender and length of business due to the acquisition of Sign value> 0.05. Profit correlates significantly with turnover and length of business, this is indicated by the Sig value obtained <0.05. While profits are not related to the type of business, education level, gender and number of employees, this can be seen from the Sig value obtained> 0.05. The type of business is positively correlated with turnover, gender and number of employees, this can be seen from the acquisition of sign <0.05, while the type of business has no relationship with earnings, education level, duration of business because the sign value> 0.05.Key words: culinary, entrepreneurship, profile, profit, turnover

Abstract

DKI Jakarta residents are considered to have poverty issues and economic inequality that will affect the health and psychological problems, the Jatipulo area, is one of them. Community training activities aim to provide skills and knowledge that are expected to be capital for the application of healthy lifestyles and improve living standards. Provisioning activities and skills into an effort in the form of 1. Training in hydroponic cultivation 2. Provision of knowledge in business 3. Provision of product marketing knowledge 4. Processing post-harvest products. The activity method was finalized in a three-month presentation and field assistance method. Based on the evaluation and monitoring carried out that the hydroponic plants applied by residents and residents independently continue to make fish ponds for aquaponics, the results of which are ready for consumption and sale. Activities related to the use of simple materials in the household as hydroponic materials and the provision of capital assistance related to food for daily consumption and assistance are consistently effective in changing people's lifestyles.Keywords: aquaponic, entrepreneur, hydroponic, revenue

Abstract

As Indonesia's original cultural heritage, Hand-Written Batik is one of the featured products for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Java. However, the printed batik industry's presence impacted the decline in the market share of hand-written batik. The entrepreneurial climate and entrepreneurial competence are factors that are believed to increase the competitiveness of hand-written batik. This study aims to determine and explain the effect of entrepreneurial climate on business performance with entrepreneurial competence as an intervening variable. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach and involves as many as 138 MSMES owners at the center of Hand-Written Batik in Bayat District, Klaten Regency as respondents. Withdrawal of samples using the Slovin formula with a confidence level of 95 percent. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling, and data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and path analysis were processed using SPSS software. The results show that the entrepreneurial climate has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial competence, the entrepreneurial climate has a positive and significant effect on business performance, entrepreneurial competence has a positive and significant effect on business performance, and entrepreneurial competence is proven to be able to mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial climate and business performance. This means that the better the entrepreneurial climate in an MSMEs industrial center will impact MSMEs' performance if, at the same time, MSMEs owners have good entrepreneurial competence.Keywords: business performance, entrepreneurial climate, entrepreneurial competence, MSMEs

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to find out what strategies were used at universities in increasing entrepreneurship for students, including to find out the general vision of entrepreneurship for students. this type of research was qualitative descriptive research, the procedure for collecting data is obtained using interview methods, and supported by documentation and observation, then the data is analyzed to obtain conclusions and verification. The results of the study explained that there were several strategies used by STKIP PGRI Sumenep in entrepreneurship for students including: prioritizing entrepreneurship, compiling curriculum and increasing lecturer HR, increasing labor competency and productivity for students, establishing campus entrepreneurship centers, forming student business units , KKN-business, entrepreneurship internship, and student creative programs, the development of entrepreneurial student programs, forming entrepreneurship centers, cooperation with the business world and financial institutions, entrepreneurship awards, the policy of having a business as a condition for student graduation.Key words: College Strategy, Educated Unemployment, Entrepreneurship

Abstract

Financial reports become useful for every business actor and family because of financial information sources. Most of the Wirogunan women have little knowledge in making business financial reports so that training in financial reporting being valuable to disseminate for business people and families. This community service activity aims to provide training on financial reports to Wirogunan Yogyakarta women. The methods of activity are lectures, question-and-answer, and financial reporting practice. The results showed that increasing knowledge of financial reports for Women in Wirogunan. The benefit of this activity is that Wirogunan Yogyakarta women can be orderly in making small business financial reports. Abstract

Entrepreneurship learning in higher education has a strategic role in developing students' interest in entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine the determinant factors of student interest in entrepreneurship as an evaluation material for entrepreneurship learning, especially in fisheries and marine colleges. This study uses a quantitative approach through descriptive correlational methods. The number of respondents was 110 students of the College Marine Technology of Balik Diwa Makassar. The data were collected through a questionnaire instrument using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that 43.6% of students' interest in entrepreneurship was simultaneously influenced by factors of income expectations (X1), family support (X2), and entrepreneurial learning (X3). The regression equation for student interest in entrepreneurship is Y = 1.112 + 0.302X1 + 0.736X2 + 0.284X3. Income expectations and family support as well as entrepreneurial learning together influence respondents' interest in entrepreneurship (P <0.05). Entrepreneurship learning provided the lowest contribution to student entrepreneurial interest. Learning methods and facilities need special attention in increasing student entrepreneurial interest. These entrepreneurial learning methods and facilities must be able to develop entrepreneurial spirit and activities based on family environment activities supported by science and technology.Keywords: entrepreneurship learning, family environment, fisheries and marine, income expectations, interest in entrepreneurship

Abstract

Entrepreneurial learning is one of the compulsory subjects that must be attended by students, but interest in student entrepreneurship is still low. The purpose of this study is to determine : (1) the effect of entrepreneurial learning on entrepreneurship interest of the student of Teacher Training and Education Faculty; (2) the effect of using social media on entrepreneurship interest of the student of Teacher Training and Education Faculty; and (3) the effect of entrepreneurial learning and using of  social media together on entrepreneurship interest of student of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. The research method used is descriptive correlational with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students who have taken entrepreneurship courses which consists 1863 students. The research sample are 96 students, which taken with a proporsional random sampling. Data collection technique carried out by using questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS release 24.0. The result show that: (1) there is a significant positive effect of learning entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial interest (t-count (3.087) > t-table (1.9855)). (2) there is a significant positive effect of utilization social media on entrepreneurial interest (t-count (5.033) > t-table (1.9855))and (3) there is significant positive effect of learning entrepreneurship and utilization social media together on entrepreneurial interest (F-count (26.294) >F-table (3.09)). The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant influence on entrepreneurial learning and using of social media on entrepreneurship interest.Key words: entrepreneurial learning, entrepreneurship, social media
