Abstract

The research was conducted to hone students' critical thinking in citizenship courses on national insight by combining a time token type cooperative model with a zoom application. Method With quasi-experimental design. The control and experimental samples were a total of 62 students. The control group learns citizenship with WhatsApp, and the experimental group learns with a cooperative combination of time token type with the zoom application. Data analysis with Homogeneity Test, Normality Test, and Hypothesis Testing. The result of Sig value two-tail is 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05. Ho is unacceptable, and Ha is acceptable. Combining the time token type of cooperative learning model with the zoom application can hone students' critical thinking patterns. Better than students learning to use Whatsapp

Abstract

Hasyim Asy'ari University is a pioneer university in Indonesia based on Islamic boarding schools which was built with intelligence of the heart, and maximizes all the potential of human intelligence (multiple intelligences), so that it is able to give birth to a superior generation who has faith, has noble character, and masters science and technology correctly and correctly. useful in society and the nation, but it is very ironic when this goal has not been achieved, because what happens in the field, there are still many students who do not understand the importance of lectures and there is still low awareness of the learning environment such as lack of discipline, being late for class, chatting during lectures, responsibility for college assignments is low, especially in music education courses. The author's goal is to implement Islamic boarding school-based character education in music education, which is expected to be able to revolutionize the mentality of students. The writing procedure used is the Kemmis & Taggart model class action writing, collaborative writing. This writing uses descriptive analysis method. The results of the implementation of Islamic boarding school- based character education in learning music education in the beginning received a poor response from students, but after walking students experienced changes in attitudes and behavior, and began to know the importance of studying and studying. The conclusion of this paper is that through the implementation of Islamic boarding school-based character education in music education courses, it is able to instill character values in students, these character values include; independence/toughness, cooperation, honesty and discipline as well as being active and diligent in studying.

Abstract

Online learning was currently applied as a solution for education during the Covid-19 pandemic era in Indonesia. However, several aspects were required to be evaluated to optimally achieve the learning goals. This study was aimed to investigate the implementation of online geography learning at Trenggalek 2 public senior high school using the CIIP evaluation model. The population was geography teachers and social studies class students at the school. Furthermore, the sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique applying the Slovin formula with a significance level of 0.5%. Data were collected through survey and interview methods and then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. Analyzing the context, input, process and product, this research indicated that the online geography learning was well implemented with 75% criteria fulfilled. Therefore, the online learning program could be continued with some improvements.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of Interactive Multimedia on the material shallow bearing capacity of soil in the Building Engineering Education Study Program, University of Jakarta. The method of this research is research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model consisting of the stages of analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluation. The interactive multimedia that was developed got 80.7% with the proper category by material experts and 79.4% with the proper category by media experts. Based on the results of the limited trial, there was an increase in the average value of the pre test by 54.5 and the post test by 79.75. The results of validation by material experts and media experts as well as limited trials show that interactive multimedia that has been developed is declared feasible and ready to be implemented in the material foundation bearing capacity of soil.

Abstract

The background of this research is that online learning causes a decrease in student understanding. One of the factors that influence this decrease and increase in understanding is the student's thinking disposition. Thus, it is important to identify the dispositions needed by students to support their success in online learning. The purpose of this study was to identify the disposition of learning independence that is used as a supporter of successful online learning. The method of this research is quantitative research with a survey approach. The sample of this study consisted of 138 students of the mathematics education study program at the Islamic University of Malang. The data collected in this study are the results of filling out questionnaires and student opinions related to thinking dispositions. The data from filling out the questionnaire was analyzed by determining the number of students who chose the component of thinking disposition which aims to find out the component of thinking disposition that is most needed by students to be successful in learning online during the covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, students' opinions were analyzed descriptively which aims to find out the reasons students choose certain disposition components. The survey results show that there are four components of thinking disposition that are needed by students to be successful in online learning, namely: persistence, motivation, communication, and self-regulation. These four components are interrelated with each other. Someone successful in learning must have persistence, where persistence is built from motivation. Someone persistent and motivated must also be able to communicate with various parties. Persistence, motivation, and communication must pay attention to self-regulation. These four components of thinking disposition can be used to support student success.

Abstract

The society 5.0  era requires the active contribution of the younger generation to solve problems in the community through implementation of scientific methods which involve integrated science process skills (i-SPS). The rapid technological development makes social science students able to practice i-SPS through practicum methods. In addition, the existence of internet access can facilitate them to criticize phenomena through argumentation.. The aim of this study was analyzing the integrated science process skills (i-SPS) and argumentation of social science students. i-SPS were trained through demonstration methods and virtual experiment methods using pHET simulations, while argumentation were trained through debate activities involving pro-groups (pseudoscience view) and contra groups (scientific view). The research design was mixed method, the qualitative aspect is a content analyzing on i-SPS achievement of social science students who did rotation learning methods, while the quantitative aspect was the correlation test between i-SPS by pHET and argumentation. Mean score of  i-SPS by pHET was 83.46 and i-SPS by Demonstration was 55, while mean score of argumentation waas 77.88. The results of the nonparametric correlation test was r calculation was 0.175 smaller than r table 0.404 (sig 0.05 and N 24), so it was concluded that no correlation between i-SPS by pHET and argumentation. Majority of social science students about 75% have unequal category combinations of i-SPS by pHET and argumentation. Students’ i-SPS-PHET does not affect their argumentation. Several factors can influence the argumentation of social students, such as experience about phenomena, information disclosure in digital era , and the characteristics of debate involves pro and contra groups which expands knowledge.
