Abstract

This study aims to analyze madrasah teachers’ readiness and competence level in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, identify challenges, and formulate effective strategies to improve teacher competence in the Deli Serdang Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, while data were analyzed thematically through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study results indicate that most madrasah teachers are not yet fully prepared to implement the Merdeka Curriculum due to limited conceptual understanding, insufficient training, and a lack of supporting facilities. Challenges include low digital literacy, limited mentoring, and restricted access to learning resources. Strategies that can be applied include practice-based training, intensive mentoring, the use of technology, strengthening professional learning communities, and supportive policies from school leaders and related institutions. This study recommends the need for synergy among madrasahs, the government, and educational communities to create a supportive learning ecosystem for the optimal implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Webinars have been a popular activity since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic until now, especially for students and the general public who want to increase their knowledge and get a certificate as part of their portfolio. The promotion of webinars is done through e-flyers with various themes supported by the internship team under CV Teman Kolaborasi Anda. This research aims to analyze the assistance in making e-flyers and webinar certificates. The method used is descriptive qualitative with an explanatory approach, using secondary data in the form of e-flyers from social media such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and email. The research subjects were trainees, namely university students, fresh graduates, and some high school students who participated in training on making e-flyers and webinar certificates using the Canva application at CV Teman Kolaborasi Anda, Depok City. The object of research is the assistance process in making e-flyers and webinar certificates using the Canva application. The results showed that some e-flyers did not meet the standards due to differences in design styles, while the certificates were in accordance with the specified standards by using standardized templates. Assistance was provided to ensure the existence of standardized design standards by utilizing the Canva application which provides various free templates. This activity was conducted online and guided by the Founder of CV Teman Kolaborasi Anda. This training equips the participants, who are apprentices, with practical skills in e-flyer and certificate design, thus improving their readiness to enter the workforce with a combination of soft and hard skills that are in line with industry needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing a collaborative learning model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on improving learning outcomes and strengthening students' social skills in junior high schools. This study was motivated by the phenomenon of declining student learning outcomes and lack of student involvement in PAI learning, even though the material taught was very relevant in character building. The approach used in this study was a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques used included interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of a collaborative learning model can improve student learning outcomes, especially in understanding PAI material, as well as strengthening their social skills, such as cooperation, communication, and respect for differences of opinion. The contribution of this study is to provide new insights into the importance of a collaboration-based learning approach in the context of Islamic Religious Education at the junior high school level, as well as providing recommendations for optimizing this learning model in improving the quality of more holistic education

Abstract

Education financing is a key factor in determining the quality of education services, but SMPN 3 Siliragung Banyuwangi faces various challenges such as limited operational budget, less than optimal utilization of BOS Funds, and limited financial management. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in education financing and explore solutions to improve financial management to support the quality of education. The results of the study indicate that budget limitations force schools to prioritize urgent needs, while BOS Funds are more focused on improving facilities than developing learning. The strategic role of the Principal in financial planning and management is quite significant, although it still faces obstacles such as limited human resources and supervision. In conclusion, although the challenges of education financing are quite large, there are opportunities to improve the effectiveness of financial management through careful planning, strict supervision, and collaboration with external parties, so that they can optimize existing funds and support sustainable improvements in the quality of education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the policy of strengthening Islamic education for early childhood. The policy of Islamic Religious Education in PAUD is present as an answer to the need for inclusive and equitable Islamic religious education in Indonesia. The method used in this study is to adopt a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of the study show that the Implementation of PAI in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and Kindergarten (TK) is based on various regulations and laws, such as the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, as well as the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture and the Regulation of the Minister of Religion. The management of PAI in TK and PAUD follows holistic and integrative principles, with two main models, namely Integrated PAI and Special PAI. This model ensures that PAI learning can be adjusted to the needs and development of children, and is integrated with physical-motor, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and art aspects. The management of PAI in Kindergarten and PAUD follows holistic and integrative principles, with two main models, namely Integrated PAI and Special PAI.

Abstract

Islamic religious colleges are educational institutions that are currently becoming options for prospective students who want to pursue higher education. To become the main choice for prospective new students, PTKIN must certainly improve the quality of its educational institutions. One of the highlights is the Human Resources (HR) section of PTKIN. To achieve this level, PTKIN must improve service excellence in its institutions; therefore, we are interested in researching the Human Resources Development Strategy for improving service excellence at State Islamic Religious Colleges in Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis model; this study was conducted at 5 PTKIN in Aceh (STAIN Teugku Dirundeng, UIN Ar-Raniry, IAIN Lhokseumawe, IAIN Langsa, and IAIN Takengon). The results of the HRM Strategy affect the service performance of PTKIN organizations in Aceh Province. This means that the better the self-ability of the HRD strategy is, the more it will improve the service performance of PTKIN organizations in Aceh Province. HRD's capabilities in good management strategies directly affect the performance of PTKIN organizations in Aceh Province. Employee performance with excellent service will directly affect the performance of PTKIN organizations in Aceh Province. This means that the better the employee performance, the more it will improve the performance of PTKIN organizations in Aceh Province.

Abstract

This study reveals how continuous professional development, collective religious leadership, and organizational culture are the keys to educational quality at Mujadi Ulya Blokagung . The purpose of this study is to describe in depth the process and strategies for improving the quality of Islamic boarding school-based education by highlighting three main aspects: teacher professional development, leadership style, and organizational cultural values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with leaders and teachers, and institutional documentation. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, which identified important patterns from experiences and practices in the field. The results of the study indicate that teacher development at Ulya Blokagung is contextual and transformative, with structured and spiritual training. Leadership that is carried out collectively and based on religious values creates strong organizational synergy. The deep-rooted Islamic boarding school culture becomes the spirit of education and an effective internal driver. Overall findings show that the integration of professional development, religious leadership, and Islamic boarding school culture has created a complete and sustainable educational ecosystem, and made Ulya Blokagung a model of a modern Islamic boarding school that remains based on traditional values.

Abstract

School principal leadership based on the KALTENG BERKAH motto reflects the values of Dignity (Bermartabat), Elegance (Elok), Religiousness (Religius), Strength (Kuat), Trustworthiness (Amanah), and Harmony (Harmonis). These local values are relevant to education in shaping a harmonious school environment and student character. The values of strength and trustworthiness play a vital role in addressing educational challenges. This study focuses on: (1) the leadership strategies of school principals based on the KALTENG BERKAH motto at public senior high schools in Palangkaraya City, Central Kalimantan Province, and (2) the leadership innovations of school principals grounded in the KALTENG BERKAH motto. The research approach is qualitative, employing both written and verbal informant data, as well as direct observation. The researcher visited the sites to obtain more comprehensive data. Data were collected using individual analysis, cross-site analysis, and proposition techniques. The findings indicate that the school principals’ leadership strategies emphasize decision-making grounded in the KALTENG BERKAH motto by integrating character values into learning processes, fostering religious, courteous, disciplined, clean, and hardworking attitudes to develop leadership character. Leadership innovations highlight democratic and transformational approaches, emphasizing integrity and collaboration that reflect dignity, religiousness, harmony, and strong partnerships with teachers, school committees, and parents. Theoretical implications: Both principals employed democratic and transformational leadership styles that accentuate integrity, dignified collaboration, religiousness, and harmony. Practical implications: Graceful and strong leadership aligned with the BERKAH values promotes politeness, respect, and professionalism, while appreciating the contributions of all teachers and staff. Recommendations: (1) For school principals: These values provide a leadership foundation for building a positive and inclusive school culture. (2) For teachers: To align with the principal’s leadership based on local values. (3) For the government: To evaluate principals using criteria grounded in local noble values. (4) For future researchers: As a reference for exploring local values in school leadership, particularly in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the contribution of Islamic educational supervision in improving the quality of multicultural education in Islamic schools. The background of this study is based on the importance of multicultural education in the context of pluralistic Indonesian society, as well as the need to make educational supervision a means of teacher development in creating inclusive and tolerant learning. Islamic schools have a responsibility to instill Islamic values that are in line with the principles of diversity and social justice. Therefore, Islamic educational supervision needs to be directed to support the strengthening of multicultural values in educational practices. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature review techniques. Data were obtained through analysis of scientific literature in the form of journals, books, and academic documents that are relevant to the theme of Islamic educational supervision and multicultural education. The analysis was carried out descriptively with the steps of identification, classification, synthesis, and interpretation of findings from various sources. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational supervision contributes to five main aspects: improving teacher competence in a multicultural perspective, integrating Islamic values with the principle of inclusivity, establishing a tolerant school climate, transforming school culture, and developing leadership based on Islamic values. The conclusion of this study confirms that supervision of Islamic education carried out effectively and contextually can be a strategic instrument in supporting the realization of quality multicultural education in Islamic schools.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a magnetic roulette learning media that is developed and tested for its feasibility using validity and product trials, in order to determine the extent to which the level of achievement of the development of the ability to recognize the concept of number symbols 1-10 in children aged 4-5 years at Hidayatus Shibyan Kindergarten Surabaya after teaching and learning activities with magnetic roulette learning media using the Discovery Learning learning model. The research design used in this study is a type of development research with a 4D research model (Four D- Models). This 4D development model consists of 4 stages of namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The results of the study on the effectiveness of the “Roulette Magnet” learning media, proven by the calculation of N-Gain, which shows an overall increase in pre-test and post-test scores of 0.597 in moderate interpretation. These results indicate that the “Roulette Magnet” learning media can improve the quality of learning and support learning objectives, so that the “Roulette Magnet” learning media in the teaching material for introducing the concept of numbers 1-10 in children aged 4-5 years is declared effective. The conclusion based on all the results of the analysis and assessment of experts and education practitioners, both teachers and students, is that the “Roulette Magnet” learning media is classified as a media that is suitable for use in the learning process.
