Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of anti-corruption education on students' attitudes and integrity behavior in higher education. A mixed methods approach was applied, combining questionnaires, surveys, interviews, and observations. A total of 104 students completed qualitative questionnaires, and 142 students participated in quantitative surveys. The findings reveal that most students understand the importance of anti-corruption education (94.4%) and consider it relevant to academic life (89.4%). Furthermore, 88.8% of students reject academic misconduct such as cheating and proxy attendance, while 85.9% expressed readiness to act as anti-corruption agents both on campus and in society. Qualitative data also highlight positive changes in honesty, discipline, and responsibility. This study concludes that anti-corruption education effectively raises awareness, shapes character, and encourages students to internalize integrity values in both academic and social contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate strategic planning, explore patterns of positive communication, identify technical guidance, and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the principal in improving the performance of school operators in managing the Education Primary Data (DAPODIK) at SMAN 1 Muara Batu. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that strategic planning was carried out systematically and in a collaborative manner, involving school operators from the initial stages. The principal fostered positive communication through an open, empathetic, and dialogue-based approach, which helped establish a collaborative working environment. Technical guidance was provided through training, assistance, and structured supervision in the form of mentoring and coaching. Key supporting factors for the success of DAPODIK management include adequate infrastructure, flexible school policies, and inter-unit collaboration. However, several challenges were also identified, such as limited internet access, system-related technical issues, and the dual workload of school operators. Overall, the leadership strategies implemented by the principal positively impacted the competence and performance of school operators and can serve as a best practice model for digital-based education data governance in secondary education institutions

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of learning at SMP Assalam Islamic School Jeunieb using the POAC approach (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers. The results showed that in the planning stage, the school designed the learning process collaboratively and integratively between the national curriculum and the Islamic curriculum based on the dayah system. The principal, vice principal, and teachers were involved in developing integrative lesson plans (RPP), adjusting the morning tahfiz schedule, and identifying the necessary teaching components. In the organizing stage, the school established a clear organizational structure, assigned tasks according to teacher competencies, and ensured regular coordination. The management of learning facilities and infrastructure was carried out systematically and carefully by the education staff. The implementation stage combined modern and traditional methods such as lectures, discussions, sorogan, bandongan, and memorization. Teachers actively integrated general subject content with Islamic values to create meaningful and religious learning experiences. The supervision stage was carried out hierarchically, both internally by the principal and vice principal, and externally by supervisors from the education office and the dayah institution. Supervision included classroom observations, evaluation of teaching documents, and assessments of students’ academic and spiritual development. The findings indicate that the POAC approach can be effectively applied to manage integrated learning that combines two curricula. The study also resulted in a model of integrative learning management based on Islamic values in the context of Islamic boarding schools.

The dynamics of Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) in Indonesia are greatly influenced by globalization. PTKI are required to improve academic quality, increase global competitiveness, and adopt information technology, all of which are done without ignoring Islamic principles as a basis. The purpose of this study is to analyze various PTKI leadership strategies in facing the challenges of globalization. In this article, it was found that transformational leadership and servant leadership are two relevant strategies. Transformational leadership encourages innovation and motivation, while servant leadership emphasizes individual development and service. Both of these strategies are considered to have the ability to create an inclusive, character-based academic environment that is ready to make changes throughout the world. So, to remain relevant and superior in the global education arena, PTKI requires visionary, effective, and Islamic value-based leadership.

Abstract

The phenomenon at Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Yogyakarta reflects the challenges in achieving optimal employee performance due to low participation, limited initiative, ineffective training results, unstructured career development, and weak organizational commitment. This study aims to analyze the effect of training and career development on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable among employees of RRI Yogyakarta. A quantitative survey approach was used, involving 45 respondents selected through a census method. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the validity, reliability, model-fit, and significance of the relationships between variables. The findings show that both training and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment. However, organizational commitment does not have a direct or significant mediating effect on performance, nor does it significantly influence employee performance. This study highlights the importance of implementing relevant and structured human resource development programs to improve individual competence and organizational productivity. These results provide practical insights for management to strengthen the effectiveness of training and establish clear career paths to support continuous performance improvement.

Abstract

Urban Sufism emerged as a response to the spiritual crisis and moral degradation of modern society, particularly among urban women. Modernity and urbanization have created a void of meaning and weakened people's spiritual connection with God. In this context, the Sufi teachings of KH. Zaini Abdul Ghani (Guru Sekumpul) offer spiritual transformation based on Islamic moral values and spirituality. This study aims to analyze the role of Guru Sekumpul's Sufism in building spiritual intelligence and strengthening the religiosity of women in the majlis environment, while also reviewing its relevance to the challenges of urban life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method enriched with observations and light interviews with female congregants of the Majlis Thariqah Guru Sekumpul in urban areas. The results show that Sufi practices in the Guru Sekumpul Majlis, such as zikr, recitation, and social activities, shape the character of insan kamil and strengthen the social solidarity of urban women. In addition, the emergence of a community of social volunteers is a manifestation of spiritual intelligence that balances worldly and spiritual life. This study contributes to the development of modern Sufism studies and offers a new perspective on women's spirituality in the context of urban society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of audiovisual-based English content in improving the vocabulary of deaf students. The research method employed in this study is mixed methods (a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches). First, the team will use a descriptive qualitative method with an in-depth interview approach to understand the teaching and learning process. Then, the research team will use a quantitative method, namely a quasi-experiment with a pre-posttest design, to determine whether audiovisual-based YouTube content can effectively improve the English vocabulary of deaf students. Based on the results of in-depth interviews, researchers obtained data that in teaching English to deaf students, teachers utilized concrete objects around the students and the memorization method. Meanwhile, based on the results of experiments using the Paired Sample Test, the calculated t value was negative (-16.263), which means that the average pretest score was lower than the post-test score. The sig. (2-tailed) value showed 0.000 < 0.005, indicating a significant difference in English learning outcomes using the audiovisual method for deaf students at SLB Negeri Saronggi.

Abstract

s study aims to examine and analyze the influence of social values and citizenship values on the accountability attitude of accounting students at the Faculty of Economics, HKBP Nommensen University. Accountability reflects a moral and ethical attitude that demonstrates an individual's responsibility to perform tasks honestly, transparently, and reliably. In the context of higher education, the development of student accountability is influenced by various factors, including social values and citizenship values that are instilled through learning processes and campus life. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population of the study consists of all students of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics, HKBP Nommensen University. The sample was determined using a proportional random sampling technique, totaling 133 respondents. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of the latest version of SPSS software. The results indicate that social values have a positive and significant effect on students' accountability attitude. Likewise, citizenship values also have a positive and significant influence on accountability. Simultaneously, both variables contribute significantly, explaining 62.4% of the variation in students' accountability attitudes. This finding implies that the higher the students' social and citizenship values, the stronger their accountability behavior in both academic and social contexts. In conclusion, the formation of accountability attitudes among accounting students is influenced not only by cognitive aspects but also by the internalization of strong social and citizenship values. Therefore, universities need to strengthen character-based and civic education activities to develop accounting graduates who are both professional and highly ethical..
