Abstract

AbstractOne effort that can be done to increase the quantity of clean water is a water treatment system. So that the resulting water quality results can reach PP No. 22 Tahun 2021 quality standards, the resulting water quality results must have an appropriate treatment system to improve the quality of peat water and increase clean water availability. Manufacturing of tools and trials at the Laboratorium Teknik Lingkungan Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya and collecting peat water on the Palangkaraya Cross-City road. The type of sample used in the implementation of this research is a grab sample, namely a sample taken directly from the water to be monitored. Peat water samples were taken as much as 10 liters. The water treatment system consists of 3 tanks which have their respective functions. Where the first tub is the coagulation tub, the second is the flocculation tub and the third is the filtering tub. The time needed to process peat water into 10 liters of clean water takes about ± 15 minutes. Clean water treatment of 10 liters for 15 minutes can be used by 2-3 people in one treatment. The quantity of water produced by this water treatment device is physically usable, as seen from the efficiency of the time it takes to process 15 minutes in 10 liters so that it can be used for hand washing activities.Keywords: Clean water, peat water, treatment system, time and volume efficiency

Abstract

PT Buana Niaga Bersama Karawang is a manufacturing company that produces retreaded tires, this company uses mold machines and boiler machines. This study aims to analyze the application of safety and health from the beginning of the production process to finished goods, because this company has not fully implemented occupational safety and health, for example workers do not use safety shoes, carry raw materials manually. This research is a descriptive research that explains the application of occupational safety and health in the production area of PT Buana Niaga Bersama, the method used is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) with the first stage namely identifying potential hazards, then evaluating potential hazards and the last stage namely the control of potential hazards. The results of this study are based on the identification of potential hazards, there are 24 cases of potential hazards, with a risk assessment that there are as many as 62% or 15 cases of potential hazards with low risk (low risk), as many as 25% or 6 cases of potential hazards with moderate risk (medium risk). and as many as 13% or 3 cases of potential danger with severe risk (extreme risk). Suggestions for company owners are to provide personal protective equipment and establish standard operating procedures, while for workers, namely to work according to standard operating procedures and use personal protective equipment while working.

Abstract

UD. XYZ adalah perusahaan kelas menengah yang membuat atau memproduksi olahan yang bernama petis dengan berbahan dasar kepala udang. Dalam menjalankan usahanya perusahaan sering mengalami permintaan konsumen yang tidak menentu dalam setiap periode yang berdampak kepada stok bahan baku yang dimiliki sehingga sering kali permintaan konsumen tidak dapat terpenuhi. Maka dari itu perlu perencanaan yang cukup matang dalam melakukan pengendalian pada bahan baku untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar. Namun pada aktualnya perusahaan tidak melakukan perencanaan dengan matang sehingga pengendalian bahan baku tidak terjadi dan sering kali tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan produksi. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Regresi Linier dan weighted moving avarage untuk melakukan peramalan permintaan dan melakukan perbandingan untuk mencari nilai error terkecil. Pada metode peramalan tersebut menggunakan basis data aktual yang terjadi dalam periode sebelumnya sehingga dapat dilakukan plotting data untuk dilakukan perhitungan ke tahap selanjutnya. Perhitungan nilai error dilakukan setelah nilai dari hasil peramalan diketahui, nilai error tersebut berupa MAD, MSE, dan MAPE.

Abstract

Dams are infrastructure that have potential hazards if they are not monitored and maintained. The potential hazard of a dam can be identified through a risk assessment. Risk assessment can consist of risk analysis and risk evaluation. The Palasari Dam, the Gerokgak Dam and the Benel Dam were built to be used to supply water to the northern part of Bali Island. This study aims to determine the level of risk posed by the three dams. Dam risk assessment in the study used the modified ICOLD method and the Andersen modified method. The results of the risk assessment are the basis for consideration in determining maintenance and repair priorities. The results of the dam risk index assessment study, using the Andersen modification method, Palasari Dams, Gerokgak Dams, and Benel Dams have a "Satisfactory" classification based on the safety value of the dam. Whereas with the modified ICOLD method the Palasari Dam and the Gerokgak Dam has a "High" risk classification, and the Benel Dam have a "Medium" risk classification.

Abstract

UD. Utomo Joyo has problems related to monthly production defects, where the company has a maximum defect target of 5% of total production for one period, but the defects that occur exceed estimates. This study aims to find solutions to improve the application of the Statistical Quality Control method to the quality of sarong products at UD. Utomo Joyo using Seven Quality Control Tools (7 QC), namely flowcharts, checksheets, histograms, control charts, pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. The results of the analysis and discussion show that there are 2 types of product defects such as yarn break defects and color fade/flex defects, while the most common or dominant defect is yarn break defects with a percentage of 68.3%. The findings of these defective products are still within the control limits of UCL and LCL. The proposed improvements are rescheduling to check tools regularly, providing adequate and safe lighting facilities for eye health, providing SOP education to workers before starting work. The advice given is to provide more focus on the most common or dominant product defects, in order to reduce losses and increase customer satisfaction in the future.

Abstract

Untuk memaksimalkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dari proses produksi, perusahaan harus menguasai seni pengelolaan dan penggunaan sumber daya. Ketika perusahaan dapat memaksimalkan sumber daya, maka keuntungan juga dimaksimalkan. Oleh karena itu, untuk memaksimalkan keuntungan, sangat penting untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya yang tersedia. Dengan menggunakan program linier dengan pendekatan simpleks, penelitian ini berupaya memaksimalkan keuntungan di Pabrik Tahu XYZ dengan cara memproduksi sebanyak mungkin kombinasi tahu dengan sumber daya yang dialokasikan. Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian ini meliputi wawancara dan observasi langsung. Data yang digunakan seperti bahan baku, bahan pendukung produksi, volume produksi, jumlah karyawan, dan keuntungan harian dari pembuatan tahu. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode manual dan bantuan perangkat lunak (aplikasi) untuk melakukan perhitungan yaitu aplikasi POM-QM. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa agar Pabrik Tahu XYZ memperoleh keuntungan harian maksimum (Zmax) sebesar Rp 26.400.000, maka harus memproduksi tahu putih (X1) sebanyak 120 kali produksi dan tahu kuning (X2) sebanyak 120 kali produksi.

Abstract

In production activities, fulfillment customer demand requires a method of calculating uncertainty the demand prediction in the future period. PT Ciptaunggul Karya Abadi has its own forecasting system, but the results are different from the actual data. One of the productions is Arm Rear Brake KWBF part shows a ± stock difference from actual demand data with forecasting data each month. This study to propose improvements to the forecasting system for Arm Rear Brake KWBF part by comparing three forecasting systems and selecting the lowest error rate. The method used in solving these problems is a results comparison of the moving average method, trend analysis method and company forecasting system with data collection techniques through observation and interview. The data used is in the form of general data such as company identity and special data such as historical production data of the company. The results of this study indicate that the lowest error is found in trend analysis method with MAD of 1811, MSE of 5702679 and MAPE of 0.46. So, the trend analysis method on the Arm Rear Brake KWBF part is feasible to be applied in the company.

Abstract

PT. Toya Indo Manunggal termasuk bidang industri kimia. Perusahaan ini memiliki permasalahan pada biaya persediaan dan pengendalian bahan baku, sebab sering mengalami kehabisan stok hingga menyebabkan penjualan menjadi berhenti. Maka perusahaan perlu menetapkan kebijakan pada persediaan bahan dasar agar pengeluaran dapat di minimalisir dan tidak mengalami kehabisan stok. Untuk meminimalisir pengeluaran tersebut, perusahaan dapat menggunakan analisis Economic Order Quantitiy (EOQ). Model EOQ ini dapat meminimalisir jika terjadi kehabisan stok sehingga proses produksi tidak terganggu serta perusahaan dapat mengeluarkan biaya persediaan dengan hemat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode eoq untuk mengetahui berapa banyak bahan baku yang perlu dipesan ulang, berapa banyak perlengkapan keselamatan yang dibutuhkan, dan berapa banyak yang perlu dibeli. Jika data tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menunjukkan bahwa PT. Toya Indo Manunggal melakukan pembelian dengan sebanyak 22 kali pada setiap pemesanan dengan jumlah 115 kempu. Jumlah biaya untuk sekali pesan sebanyak Rp. 802.100.000. Persediaan pengaman yang perlu ditempatkan di tempat persediaan yaitu 12 kempu. Titik pemesanan kembali pada bahan baku yaitu sebanyak 271 kempu.

Abstract

Climate change has an impact on increasing the temperature of the earth's surface which causes an increase in extreme weather such as floods and droughts. Climate change adaptation is an effort to increase the ability to adapt to changes, including climate diversity and extreme climate events, so that the potential damage caused by climate change can be reduced, opportunities posed by climate change can be utilized and the consequences can be overcome. This study discusses hydrological disasters due to climate change with a change adaptation approach, through environmentally sound drainage or ecodrain. One of the chosen forms of ecodrain is infiltration wells. Excess water that causes flooding can be reduced by storing excess water into the soil. Water that is absorbed into the soil is beneficial for the continuity of groundwater. From the results of the discussion, it is known that with extreme weather changes, evaporation exceeds the amount of rainfall in certain months in Pekanbaru City in 2018. The potential for water loss from this area results in the emergence of potential drought. However, as long as the annual rainfall value is greater than the evaporation value, the annual meteorological drought in the area can be avoided. On the other hand, the design of infiltration wells in the Hang Tuah Cipta Housing area is able to reduce runoff that occurs by 70% of the total runoff to be absorbed into the ground. Thus infiltration wells are able to provide benefits in reducing flooding and saving groundwater.

Abstract

The Dayak tribe has a close relationship with nature. They are used to using natural resources such as plants for various needs, including as an ingredient in traditional medication. The Dayak Belangin, one of the Kanayatn Dayak sub-tribes in Dange Aji Village, Landak District, is still using medicinal plants to treat illnesses in their community. This research was conducted to document the knowledge of the dayak Belangin people in Dange Aji Village in utilizing plants as traditional medicine. A total of 163 households of the dayak Belangin community in Dange Aji Village were selected by purposive sampling and in-depth interviews to obtain information about the community's knowledge of using plants as medicine. The data obtained were then analyzed using ethnobotanical indices such as use value (UV), family importance value (FIV), informant consensus factor (ICF), and fidelity level (FL). All respondents interviewed used medicinal plants, with in total there are 53 species belonging to 34 plant families. Asteraceae is a plant family with the highest FIV (11.76). Jambu tokal or guava (P. guajava), mabo (Blumea balsamifera), and engkodok (Melastoma candidum) had the highest UV values (0.76; 0.71, and 0.71, respectively). The highest ICF score (1) includes cancer, wounds, urinary stones, rheumatism, gout, allergies, malaria, hypertension, bloody bowel movements, colds, sore eyes, colds, cholesterol, and broken bones. There are 43 plants with the highest FL value (100%). The local knowledge of the dayak Belangin tribe is prized and must be maintained, especially for the benefit of science and the development of new modern medicines.
