Abstract

Service Standards are benchmarks that are used as guidelines for service delivery and references as a Service Standards are benchmarks used as quality assessment guidelines service to the community as a quality service, fast, easy, affordable, and measurable. At this time the development of technology and information systems increasingly stringent so that it requires the readiness of a technology that is able to answer competition in the government environment. Service data processing information systems in Gampong currently do not meet technological development standards in the present, because the existing data processing systems are still done manually using MS. Word and MS. EXCEL. The problem of service if you make a letter by hand is that the people who make the letter have to wait a long time, so the village officials must input the data manually. The purpose of this research is to produce a system in serving the public to make the documents needed by the community, so that the officers can provide services quickly and accurately. of the Village Administration, with the existence of this information system can provide services in the village administration data collection that previously was still using the manual system method.

Abstract

Recently, membrane technology has developed rapidly as a process for water treatment. The membrane process is in demand due to several advantages including being able to work at low temperatures, easier to operate and easy to scale up. Magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) is an inorganic compound that is inexpensive, non-toxic and hydrophilic, so it has the potential to be used as an additive in membrane fabrication. This study aims to determine the characteristics and performance (permeability and selectivity) of Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane modified with Mg(OH)2, using dimethyl Acetamide (DMAc) as solvent. The membrane was made by blending polymer with phase inversion technique and the characterization carried out included membrane morphological tests, functional group tests, water contact angle tests and evaluating membrane performance by measuring membrane selectivity and permeability. The results showed that the hydroxyl group contained in Mg(OH)2 was able to increase the hydrophilicity which was indicated by a decrease in the water contact angle on the modified membrane to 65o. The Mg(OH)2 additive acts as a pore-forming agent which can be seen in the changes in membrane morphology on the cross-section of the membrane surface. The performance of the membrane resulted in an increase in membrane permeability of 51 L/m2.hour.bar with humid acid rejection of 63%.

Abstract

Fruit leather is a flesh of fruit that has been crushed and dried at 50-60oC. The study aimed to determine the effect of ratio of gourd and pineapple and the addition of sugar in the production of fruit leather. The variables were analyzed for chemistry analysis and organoleptic response. Chemical analyzes performed were water content analysis and fiber content. Organoleptic responses include color, aroma, texture, and flavor. The data was analyzed by Randomized Completely Design with two factorial. The ratio of kundur and pineapple (K) those are 80:20%, 70:30%, 60:40% while (G) those are 20%, 30% and 40%. The result of this study showed that the ratio of the concentration of kundur and pineapple 80:20% while the concentration of sugar 30% (K1G2) produced fruit leather of the highest quality with a moisture content of 8.15%, fiber content of 1.882, and organoleptic response of texture 3.80 (like) , color 3,71 (like), aroma 3,58 (like), flavor 3,91 (like).

Abstract

Banda Aceh is a city as well as the capital of Aceh Province that has many potentials, both in industry, fishery, history, tourism and others. One area that has the potential to be developed is the field of tourism, because the field of tourism is one source of local revenue. This research was conducted at the Department of Culture and Tourism of Aceh in 20017. The objectives of the research formulate the development strategy of Banda Aceh tourism object through SWOT approach. The results of the analysis obtained are: maintaining and improving the quality of tourist attractions, coordination with the government (related departments) and the community in the development of tourism object, utilizing the support of pemko and the community to improve the quality of tourist attractions, cooperate with special business in the field of marketing, improve the quality of human resources and multiply the supporting facilities oftourism

Abstract

In 2009 the city of Padang experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.9 SR which resulted in damage to many high-rise buildings in the city of Padang, including multi-storey buildings on the UNP campus. Over time the multi-storey building will experience a decrease in quality so it is necessary to check the quality of the building itself. In this study, the author chose one of the multi-storey buildings on the UNP campus to be the object of research, namely the Faculty of Economics building. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of vulnerability of the Faculty of Economics building by checking without damaging it using a microtremor device. The research method was carried out by recording the frequency of the soil and buildings under study using a microtremor device. The primary data of this research is in the form of seismic wave data which will be processed using Matlab and Bido 2.02 software to obtain the natural frequency value of the building itself. Based on the data processing that has been done, the resonance index of the Faculty of Economics UNP building ranges from 584.81%-1054.23% so it is in the low category. The vulnerability index of the UNP Faculty of Economics building ranges from 7.07–29.21 with the highest value on the 1st floor so that the 1st floor is the most vulnerable floor.

Abstract

The economy, environment, and social pillars of sustainability demand the environmental management system (EMS) to improve the cycle system continuously. The result of the evaluation and review stages needs to account for the measurement method that potentially enhances the policy implication. Thus, the green GDP found to be practically suited with current country-based EMS, where it shows by China’s green GDP and GDP gap reached 5% in 2016. The objective of this paper is to acknowledge the implementation of green GDP in the country-based environmental management system. This paper is based on a literature review process, which covered around eight references. The result and discussion lead to the implementation of green growth indicator in national and regional green economy strategy of Indonesia, China, and Finland. The challenges of unstandardized indicators and calculation formula prospected to be tackled by reflecting the current indicator with potential global adjusted formula and valuation through international policy enforcement and integrated communication. The conclusion describes that green GDP is potentially integrated with EMS to ensure the improved cycle of sustainability.

Abstract

Pulmonary TB is a world problem especially in developing countries including Indonesia. In Indonesia, it is estimated that every year 450,000 new cases of pulmonary TB appear with death estimated at 175,000 per year.  his study aims to determine the relationship between physical environmental factors of houses with pulmonary TB patients with AFB (+) at Lhok Bengkuang Health Center, Tapaktuan Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency in 2018. The population in this study were pulmonary TB patients smear (+) recorded in the case data report in the working area of Lhok Bengkuang Health Center, Tapaktuan Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency  in 2017, which is 36 patients with pulmonary TB (+) and 36 non-pulmonary TB sufferers. The results of the  nivariate study showed 52.8% of respondents with occupant density did not meet the requirements, 55.6% of respondents with house floors did not meet the requirements, 51.4% of respondents with lighting did not meet the requirements, 51.4% of respondents with house ventilation did not meet the requirements . The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between occupant density (P value = 0.001), house floor (P value = 0.015), lighting (P value = 0.034), ventilation (P value = 0.038) with pulmonary TB patients with AFB (+) in the area of Lhok Bengkuang District Health Center, Tapaktuan Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency.

Abstract

Startfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) is one the kind of plant that is widely used as a traditional herbal medicineto overcome various diseases i.e. diabetes mellitus, cough, rheumatism, thrush, diabetes, toothache, acne, etc. The secondary metabolites of the starfruit leaves contain flavonoids and tannins, whereby these activecompounds can be used as an antibacterial. This study aimed to determine the inhibiting power of starfruit leaf ethanol extract against Staphylococcus epidermidis at concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The research was conducted at the  AKAFARMA Laboratory and the Chemistry Laboratory , Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University from June to July 2020. The research method was laboratory experimental using the disk diffusion method. The population of starfruit leaves was obtained from Lhokseumawe  using a purposive sampling technique. Ethanol extract of starfruit leaves with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The diameter of the inhibition zone of the ethanol extract  from the starfruit leaves at  concentrations of 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% were 15 mm, 12 mm, 11 mm and 10 mm, respectively. It can be concluded that  ethanol extract of starfruit leaves can inhibit the growth  of  Staphylococcus  epidermidis  with  a  maximum inhibitory concentration  of  100%,  which is classified  as a strong category.

Abstract

The arrangement of the floodgates for rice irrigation canals is currently still using the manual method. This is very burdensome for farmers because it requires time and energy. Therefore, we need a sluice in the irrigation canal that can be done automatically. The purpose of this research is to design a miniature sluice system that can automate the sluice gate in opening and closing the sluice gate based on the water level limit of the channel. The method used in this study is the use of Arduino Uno as data storage, a servo motor that functions as a floodgate controller, a water level sensor to open the floodgate and an ultrasonic sensor that functions to determine the water level. The results of the tool testing in the research of the miniature automatic sluice gate that has been designed, namely the automatic sluice gate will open when the water sensor at the top is exposed to water. The ultrasonic sensor will measure the distance between the sensor and the water surface to make a decision to close the floodgate. If the sensor distance with the water surface is still 14 m, then the floodgate will open 1800, if the sensor distance with the water surface is 4 cm and 14 cm, then the floodgate will open 900 and if the distance between the sensor and the water surface is 4 cm, then the floodgate will be closed.

Abstract

One of the technologies that will be used to overcome the problem of environmental pollution due to the generation of greywater is by applying Constructed Wetlands using aquatic plants. Aquatic plants that will be used in this study are using Bintang Air (Cyperus papyrus) and Bambu Air (Equisetum hyemale) plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of decreasing BOD5 and COD parameters and comparing the ability of each plant to absorb pollutants in greywater. The results showed that the Bintang Air (Cyperus papyrus) plant was able to set aside BOD5 levels of 97.14% while the efficiency of COD levels was 95.43%. At Bambu Air (Equisetum hyemale) it is able to set aside BOD5 levels by 90.34% while efficiency for COD is 89.67%. When viewed from the ability of the two types of plants to absorb pollutants in domestic wastewater, the Bintang Air (Cyperus papyrus) plant is superior in absorbing pollutants than the Bambu Air (Equisetum hyemale) plant.
