Abstract

Biobriket merupakan salah satu bahan bakar alternatif yang berasal dari biomassa. Biomassa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kulit kakao. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan kulit kakao sebagai bahan bakar alternatif dan juga mengetahui ukuran serbuk dan lama pengeringan biobriket yang terbaik dengan standar mutu indonesia (SNI 01-6235-2000). Karakteristik biobriket diketahui dengan melakukan pengujian karakteristik kadar air, kadar abu, nilai kalor, zat terbang, dan karbon terikat. Bahan-bahan yang digunakan adalah kulit kakao ditambahkan perekat kanji. Proses pembuatan biobriket diawali dengan penjemuran bahan, dihaluskan, diayak masing-masing bahan dengan variasi ukuran 60 mesh, 80 mesh, dan 100 mesh. Pembriketan dilakukan dengan menggunakan cetakan silinder dengan tekanan manual yang selanjutnya biobriket dijemur hingga kering dengan variasi 2 hari dan 3 hari dan diuji karakteristiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran serbuk dan lama pengeringan biobriket dari kulit kakao memberikan pengaruh terhadap karakteristik biobriket. Karakteristik biobriket terbaik diperoleh dari biobriket ukuran serbuk 100 mesh dan lama pengeringan 3 hari, kadar air sebesar 1,288%, kadar abu sebesar 0,922%, zat terbang sebesar 0,046%, nilai kalor sebesar 1905,624 kal/gram, dan karbon terikat 2,256%. Karakteristik biobriket yang memenuhi standar briket SNI 01-6235-2000 adalah nilai kadar air (8%).

Abstract

The Village Government (geuchik), has a very important role in regulating and managing the interests of the community both in the village government and in the form of village head elections. Therefore, to create a clean and transparent village government in the election of the village head, in this study I will create an E-Voting program in the election of the village head. However, as time goes on and based on facts on the ground, what has been done so far, there are still many shortcomings and problems in data validation and the lack of knowledge and a high level of public emotionality in winning one candidate for village head, thus triggering conflict between residents, on the other hand the electoral system Conventionally, village heads can also be indicated as cheating. In an effort to avoid fraud in the village head election (Geuchik), an idea or idea is needed in the form of using technology based on the E-voting website and can be run using a computer or laptop device that has the E-Voting application installed so that it can be done transparently, effectively, efficient and professional that is expected in the election of the Village Head, in supporting E-Government in this study will be carried out in the Batoh Village (Gampong), Luengbata sub- district, Banda Aceh City.

Abstract

Salib Kasih is located in the pine forest area has been made an icon of the city of Tarutung as a religious tourism destinations that visited by many tourists. Geographically, this area has a landscape with a distinctive panorama of fresh pine forests and agricultural cultivation land. The area has great potential in sustainable agro-tourism management and can increase Local Government Revenue (PAD). However although, this potential has not been exploited as one of the agro tourism management models that is integrated with the religious history destination of the Salib Kasih. This study aimed to develop an agritourist management model by analyzing the needs of facilities and infrastructure that are integrated with religious tourism in Salib Kasih area’s. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded there are some alternative agrotourism management models which integrated the religious tourism of Salib Kasih area’s by paying attention to the local wisdom, cultivation product, cattle farm, and bee keeping.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh laju alir terhadap kinetikaadsorpsi methylene blue pada karbon aktif.Adsorpsi dilakukan dengan menggunakan karbon aktif dari tempurung kelapa yang teraktivasi oleh NaOH.Karbon aktif diletakkan pada unggun dengan memvariasikan laju alir methylene blue. Variasi laju alir yang digunakan adalah 5 mL/menit, 10 mL/menit dan 15 mL/menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya serap methylene blue tertinggi yaitu pada laju alir 5 mL/menit, yaitu pada menit ke 100 menghasilkan konsentrasi effluent 5,68 mg/L.

Abstract

Human Resource Management is an important key for the company. The quality of human resources can be seen from the performance of each individual. The performance can be caused by several factors. The office is an environment that is a place for an organization to work in achieving its goals. Poor office space arrangement can certainly hinder the flow of activity in completing tasks while in the office. This study aims to examine the influence of office layout on the performance of employees of the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Karawang Regency with a sample of 32 people. Researchers use quantitative research. Meanwhile, for data collection using observation techniques through questionnaires. Simple linear regression was used as the data analysis method. Data processing is assisted by SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The research resulted in an acceptable hypothesis, where the office layout variable positively affects employee performance. These results can be used as input and descriptions of leaders in improving employee performance through office layouts that can be worn to support performance improvements.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the fermentation technique of coconut processed liquid waste by varying the inoculum concentration of Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria for lactic acid production. This research was carried out in several steps, namely the first step was the inoculum cultivation process of Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria, the second step was the fermentation process of coconut water with variations in the concentration of Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria inoculum, namely 5%, 10% and 20%. Analysis of lactic acid products, pH, glucose, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), Total Suspended Solid (TSS) and Volatile Suspended Solid (VSS). The variation in the concentration of Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria inoculum 20% is the most optimum to produce total lactic acid for batch and continuous systems. The results of the correlation analysis for inoculum variations of 5%, 10% and 20% had a strong relationship with lactic acid production, decreased pH and decreased glucose levels. The greater the inoculum concentration, the greater the decrease in the TDS, TSS and VSS content.

Abstract

Kabupaten Karo has several areas that have the potential to occurrence of a landslide.Therefore, the mitigation  of landslide disaster is very important,  it has long-term negative impacts on  humanity and the environment. This study attempts to analyze the distribution of vulnerability landslides in Berastagi mitigation and management and provide the right environment. The causes of a movement occur  landslides in Berastagi is the state  of a steep slope around 35, 55 % - percent of lithological building materials / unstable material among other volcanic breccias and, riodasit tufa and the factor triggering  rainfall andinfiltration water . The research method was descriptive , whereas scoring with  Shapefile (SHP) data in 2019 was based on the 2004 Puslittanak. The results of the field are the weightings of the respective parameter with overlay uses arcgis 10.6 software. The result showed that the DouluVillage, SempaJaya Village, Raya Village, as well as Tambak Lau Mulgap II in the Berastagi District have a high vulnerability to landslides. Thus, recommendations  for mitigation of calamity , by revegetation  erosion including  planting  crops.

Abstract

Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the shopping center is planned to cater for its constantly changing concept. The centre was to initially provide electronic services, however, it is currently providing food and beverage services. The changes will affect the amount of wastewater and the characteristics produced. Wastewater discharge is calculated from 80% of the 83.73m  of clean water needed per day. The concentration of the wastewater characteristics obtained for parameters BOD, COD, TSS, oil and fat were 182.67 mg/l, 328.50 mg/l, 255.92 mg/l, 47.93 mg/l respectively. The selection of the processing alternatives is based on the descriptive method which uses a series of selected alternative unit screens, grease traps, equalization tanks, activated sludge, settling tanks and chlorination. The dimensions of the processing unit are calculated based on the selected alternatives. And the land requirements needed to build a WWTP at X Mall amounts to 80m2

Abstract

Angle tilt is an important factor that affects the amount of solar radiation received on the surface of solar panels. Fixed-mounted solar panels cannot receive the maximum amount of solar radiation. How to get the maximum solar radiation by positioning the surface of the solar panel at a certain slope to be directly facing the sun. This study aims at  determining  the optimum slope angle of solar panels in the city of Meulaboh (4,152 LU, 96,131 BT). The method of calculating the total value of solar radiation on a sloping surface simulated with Pvsyst Software is used to determine the annual optimum tilt angle. NASA SSE solar radiation data from 1983 – 2005 were used to support simulations in this study. The results showed that the tilt angle that can produce the maximum output energy in the city of Meulaboh (4,152 LU, 96,131 BT, Johan Pahlawan) is at an angle of 5° with the orientation directly facing south.

Abstract

As the first step to air pollution control and public health protection, Air quality monitoring systems provides information that indicate the extend of pollution in an area, the source of pollution and the types of pollutants. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate Jakarta’s air quality monitoring system by comparing it to the US, which participates in Indonesia’s air quality monitoring system by using their own system.  In specific, parameters such as air quality index, monitoring stations, regulation and data availability are to be compared through reviewing various literatures in detail.  The result obtained shows that the monitoring station amount is already ideal and complies to the U.S regulation. Indonesia’s ambient air quality standard need to be stricter and Air Pollutant Standard Index should include PM2.5 as a parameter obtains significantly better results. Air quality data is available and accessible, although it needs to be integrated and provide real time information in a simple and effective way.
