Abstract

This researchintent to analyze the optimization of waste plastics processing industry into a plastic chip products. The plastic waste processing using various types of plastic waste materials obtained through various sources such as scavenger and waste collectors which are they are living around the community, and others source. This study uses a model of maximizing profits based on assumptions by using a simulation of plastic waste processing plan within a year to consider following the prevailing price in the market within the last few years. In addition, to assess the feasibility of processing waste plastics by using parameters such investments Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP) and Profitability Index (PI). The results of the processing of the data obtained shows that optimizing the processing of plastic waste into plastic count based on the simulation of 3 (three) variables X1, X2 and X3 is the condition where i = 18% where X1 = 100% and X2 and X3 = 0%, with gains in the amount of USD 127 604 565.

Abstract

In the process of construction work, operators need accuracy in the process of finishing land leveling works such as road highway building, land reclamation, large commercial, landfill installation, so as to increase productivity. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to manufacture and implement a ground leveling finishing tool using Arduino IDE software and Atmega 328 microcontroller on the Dozer D3K Caterpillar heavy equipment unit. The placement of a series of components from the Grade Monitoring Assist includes the ultrasonic sensor on the lift cylinder, gyro and accelerometer at the top center of the blade, as well as a display that displays the results of parameter readings. Connections between components in Grade Monitoring Assist are cables that integrate all installed components. The results of testing the movement of the blade up and down position to get an accuracy value of 97.30% and an error of 2.70%. While the movement of the blade down position has an accuracy value of 96.50% and an error of 2.50%. And Tests by moving the blade according to the implement movement angle at the maximum blade angle position (either side) with an average error value of 1.48o, cutting ditches (angle V) an average error value of 0.676o

Abstract

Waste management in the Dasan Agung Market in Mataram City still uses conventional patterns. This pattern is not in line with the NTB Province policy that launched the concept of zero waste in 2019-2023. One approach that can support the program is the 3R method of waste management. This study aims to develop a waste management plan using the 3R approach. The method used in this study is the observation method, which is observing the current conditions and measuring the generation and composition of waste. The technique of determining the sample and measurement time and the procedure refers to SNI-19-3964-1995. The results showed that the amount of solid waste generation in Dasan Agung Market was 2.7 m3 / day and the weight of solid waste was 467 kg / day. Waste composition was obtained by organic waste 52.60% and inorganic waste 47.40%. TPS 3R is planned with an area of 110 m2, namely 74 m2 for composting area and 36 m2 for sorting and handling inorganic waste, and residual waste. The composting system implemented is using the drum method with a capacity of 100 liters, a total of 307 pieces. Waste Management Planning using the 3R Approach is capable of handling 80% of the waste, and 20% of the residue is disposed of in the landfill.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat seperti sekarang ini, baik di instansi pemerintah maupun swasta dituntut untuk dapat mengikuti serta mengetahui berkembangnya arus informasi dalam segala bidang khususnya dalam bidang komputer.Perubahan ini juga telah merubah cara pandang setiaporang dalam melakukan berbagai kegiatan, salah satunya adalah pada kegiatan instansi pemerintah dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan administrasi gampong yang merupakan sub sistem dari sistem administrasi negara.Era modern sekarang ini, pesatnya perkembangan teknologi menuntut intansi-intansi pemerintahan di tingkat gampong harus menerapkan sebuah pengolahan data yang terkomputerisasi.Sistem informasi administrasi gampong dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam hal pelayanan masyarakat khususnya dibidang administrasi, sebagai contoh pembuatan surat pernyataan, surat kelahiran, surat kematian, surat belum menikah, surat keterangan tidak mampu, surat berkelakuan baik, surat keterangan usaha, dan surat domisili.Setelah dilakukan penelitian, maka sistem manajemen administrasi gampongsudah dapat diterapkan menggunakan komputerisasi sehingga prosesnya sangat cepat dan untuk pengarsipan juga mudah.

Abstract

Drinking water is an aspect of Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs 2030 with the aim of ensuring the availability and management of clean water and sustainable sanitation. Many efforts to fulfill drinking water have been carried out by the Government of Indonesia, including in Segedong District as evidenced by the existence of a Drinking Water Treatment Plant. However, with the increase in population, the water produced by the WTP cannot sufficient of drinking water needs, so it is necessary to increase the amount of drinking water by planning a Water Treatment Plant for Segedong District for 15 years (2021-2035). The method used is primary data collection (climatological data) and secondary data (population and public facilities) which will then be processed to obtain the amount of drinking water needed and the required WTP capacity. The results obtained that the raw water source comes from the Peniti River, where the Peniti River has parameters that exceed the quality standard, namely color, pH, turbidity, organic matter, manganese, iron, and total coliform. Parameters will be processed with coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, neutralization. The calculation results show the amount of drinking water needed is 85.56 l/sec. Planning is carried out in 3 stages every 5 years, so that the planning to be carried out is phase I planning for drinking water needs in 2026 with a capacity of 75 l/s. Phase I planning requires an area of 293.97 m2.

Abstract

Code River is one of the rivers in the D.I Province Yogyakarta that crosses the administrative areas of Sleman Regency, Bantul Regency and Yogyakarta City. Each administrative region provides input of waste with various contents and affects the capacity of the pollution load with the study area along ± 21 km. The study was conducted at the point of Ngentak, Gondolayu, Sayidan, Keparakan, Tungkak, Ngoto and Wonokromo. The study area is divided into 6 segments for water sampling. In the study conducted with 4 scenario simulations based on existing conditions, prediction of population in the next 5 years, conformity of class I quality standards without pollutant burden and trial error. The method used to analyze water quality is the QUAL2Kw method. By using this software, it can be easier to simulate changes in the upstream to downstream areas. This study aims to analyze the capacity of the pollution load on the concentration of Ammonia, Phosphate and TSS in order to determine the strategy of water quality management in the Code River

Abstract

The increasing and varied use of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as antimicrobial on consumer products increases the risk of the nanomaterial release into the environment and potentially harm beneficial microorganisms in soil. Any change in soil microbial composition will lead to soil quality degradation that eventually reduce crop productivity. The negative effect of AgNPs on soil microorganism has been reported by researchers. There are technologies employed to remove heavy metals from soil such as chemical, physical, and biological technique. However, chemical and physical techniques have some disadvantages e.g high cost and partial removal. Therefore, biological technique including the use of microorganisms (bioremediation) become more favourable. The technique is considered as cost effectiveness and environmentally sustainable method. The present paper summarizes the impact of AgNPs on soil microorganisms and the use of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, algae, and yeast) to eliminate heavy metals pollution in soil.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the recycling potency of food waste from restaurants in Padang City by  measuring the food waste generation and its composition. Sampling and analysis were carried out based on SNI 19-3964-1994. It was performed for eight consecutive days at fifteen different sampling locations which include restaurants, cafes, fast food, and food courts. The result of this research showed that the average generation unit of restaurant food waste in the city of Padang was 0.105 kg/cap/day in weight units or 0.955 liters/cap/day in unit volume. The total generation of restaurant food waste was 132 liters/day which consists of organic waste (food scraps, leaves, fruit skin, vegetables, eggshells, bones), plastic (plastic bottles, packaging, bags, straws, and spoons), paper  (tissue, packaging paper, paper containers, cartons), and others (styrofoam, broken glass, smoked cigarette remains, cans, glass bottles). Organic waste has the largest percentage by the composition of 70.69%, and that of plastic was at 11.35%. The study further showed that the recycling potency of restaurant food waste in Padang City was made up of 7.65% paper, 51.32% plastic, 59.86% glass, 100% nonferrous metal and 91.71% organic waste. Conclusively, recycling and composting method were recommended to process the restaurant food waste.

Abstract

To maintain company quality, the warehousing system must also be maintained so that stored items are controlled and easily accessible, both physically and in a system, so that it is easier for employees to run the work wheels optimally and efficiently. One thing that can be done to control the stock of goods is stocktaking. Stocktaking is an activity  of inspecting and  recovering the assets of the enterprise as a whole to maintain the quality of the collection and maximize the development activities of the company’s collection. This research was conducted by observing the application of stocktaking in GHPA01 and GHPA02 warehouse PT. Granitoguna Building Ceramics for one month. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stock accuracy, both physically and  in GHPA01 and GHPA02. The results showed that there was an increase in the level of accuracy of the quantity and shading accuracy  before and after the stocktaking was done in the warehouse  producing  results. The internal stocktaking process has a major effect on the accuracy of the stock, both physically and systemically, so a structured and planned inventory is needed to balance the accuracy of the system and physically can be balanced.

Abstract

The high risk of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has caused the government set a various of policies to limit citizen mobility. The imposition of this mobility restriction has a significant impact on the environment. This study aims to analyze several physic-chemical waters parameters in Kadia River during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this study indicate that temperature, turbidity, DO at low tide and BOD exceed the required quality standard. The contribution of household domestic waste is very likely to have an effect on the height of some of these parameters, because in the first-year people are more active at home (work from home). The other parameters (DHL, pH, NO2, PO4) are still within the quality standard threshold level. Therefore, it is necessary to control and manage waste water from urban domestic so that the sustainability of river ecosystems can continue in the future.
