<![CDATA[The title of this article is “Values Of Character Education In The Finalist Short Story Collection At The Provincial Level Of The 2014 FLS2N” this discuss character education values. The goal of this research is to know to the education character values in the main character for the short story’s finalist provincial level FLS2N 2014. The benefits of this research can increase and adding to knowledge the study of literature especially short story through the character educations. Values practically this research hopes can give contribution for Indonesian language studies in schools. The method used is descriptive method. The source of the data in this reseach is the collect of short story’s finalist in provincial level FLS2N 2014 is Kejai Songket story by Agnes Twenty Agustiola, Melody Strains Sari story by Miranti Intan Alya, and Save Them for Us Father story by Purnama Djasmin. The data analysis technique used in content analysis technique. The result of this research is to show about character education among them relationships to one and only God such as religions, human relationships such as honesty, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, partriotism, responsibility, love peace and relationship to the environment such as care for the environment.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out whether applying Project-Based Learning can improve students’ Critical Thinking skills in General English for Pre Intermediate 4 class in LB LIA Palembang, a Non Formal English Language Institution in Palembang. The study was conducted as a classroom action research. There were 20 students who participated as the samples of the research. The data were collected through observation, questionnaire and interview. Then, the data were analyzed. The results showed 17 out of 20 students (85%) get the desired level of Critical Thinking skills. Based on the interview, all students have positive understanding of Project-Based Learning model. In conclusion, PBL has an influence in improving students’ critical thinking skills. Further study needs to be conducted to give more positive impact to society.]]>

<![CDATA[Perkembangan tekhnologi informasi dan komunikasi yang ada tidak diterima dengan mudah begitu saja oleh semua kalangan khususnya pada bidang pendidikan. Adanya pandemi covid-19 yang mewajibkan siswa untuk belajar di rumah menggunakan media alat komunikasi (ponsel cerdas). Aplikasi Whatsapp merupakan salah satu bentuk aplikasi obrolan yang banyak digunakan oleh berbagai kalangan. <![CDATA[This research was concerned with the inquiry on the correlation among learning motivation, parents’ involvement and speaking achievement of the fourth-grade pupil at Palembang Paramount School. The population of this study was 327, the sample was 38 taken by using purposive sampling. Data were collected by adopting a questionnaire for learning motivation and parents’ involvement, and test for speaking achievement. Data were analyzed by using r-Product Moment and Multiple Regression. Findings show that there were correlations among learning motivation, parents’ involvement, and speaking achievement. The data analysis shows that R_yx1x2 = 0.682 with r2 = 0.465 and the criteria of the sig-test was F_count(15.183) > F_table (3.270). therefore, the alternative hypothesis Ha was accepted while the null hypothesis Ho was rejected. Conclusions suggested that there were significant correlations among learning motivation, parents’ involvement and speaking achievement of the fourth-grade pupils at Palembang Paramount School.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to identify and describe the implementation of character education in developing students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological study approach. Sources of data were obtained from the principal, deputy principal of the IMTAQ school, teachers and students. Data collectionused was observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education in developing students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang was integrated into imtaq activities, namely online morning tausiah, online men and women’s affairs activities, which achieved good results. Success can be seen from the attitudes and behavior of students as reflected on the results of the observation sheet in the form of religious attitudes, honesty, discipline and independence. The average achievement score of students' answers on the behavior "Becoming a Habit, or Cultured" is 69%, the scores of students on the "Starting to Develop" behavior are 30%, while the scores of students on the behavior "Starting to be seen" are 8% and "Not Seen" 0 %.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the cultural and educational values ??in the KembaraRindunovel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy and the AnakRantau novel by A. Fuadi. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it is illustrated that in the two novels studied there are cultural values ??which include: (1) cultural values ??in human relations with God, (2) cultural values ??in human relations with nature, (3) cultural values ??in human relations with society, (4) cultural values ??in human relations with human, and (5) cultural values ??in human relations with oneself. The educational values ??contained in the two novels are (1) the value of religious education, (2) the value of moral education, (3) the value of social education, and (4) the value of cultural education. Therefore, the study of cultural values ??and educational values ??in the novel contains an overview through characters and characterizations.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of three variables which include the influence of the principal's leadership style and job satisfaction on teacher performance. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 90 people who came from a number of public elementary schools in the District of Sosoh Buay Rayap. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used inferential statistics which included normality, homogeneity, linearity, simple linear correlation test, multiple correlation test, T test, and f test. The results of this study are (1) principal leadership style has a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction, (2) job satisfaction has a positive effect on teacher performance, and (3) principal leadership style and job satisfaction simultaneously have a positive effect on teacher performance.]]>
