Abstract

ABSTRACT Partner-1 of this Community Partnership Program (Program Kemitraan Masyarakat/PKM) is Primanda UNTAN Kindergaten, and Partner-2 Bina Insan Kindergaten. Both partners have problems about learning facilities Educational Game Tools (Alat Permainan Edukatif/APE) which is very minimal both indoor and outdoor. When teaching is still limited to factory made APE, while there are still many local natural resource potentials in West Kalimantan that can be used to create. Teachers are still lacking in socialization/training about the use of local natural resources. Special problems that found in partner-2 are learning methods still focused on reading, writing, and calculating (calistung). Parents in partner-2 want learning in kindergaten to focus on calistung learning. The purpose of this PKM, are: (1) knowledge sharing and appropriate technology through interactive multimedia approaches based on local natural resources in the shaped animation; (2) hold socialization/training to teachers and parents about the child's learning system according to their age; (3) interactive multimedia application demonstration in class. The enthusiastic of both partner's shows that this activity is needed by them to help them fix the problems that exist in each kindergaten. The socialization activity ended with a discussion in the form of questions and answers from participants related to the way of learning for kindergaten children using APE and interactive multimedia. The expectation of this activity is the knowledge sharing and technology to the teachers, so that the teaching and learning process becomes more enjoyable and understandable by kindergaten children using APE and interactive multimedia. Keywords: APE, Bina Insan Kindergaten, Multimedia, Primanda Kindergaten,

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan adalah menyiapkan peserta didik menjadi anggota masyarakat yang memiliki kemampuan akademik atau profesional yang dapat menerapkan, mengembangkan atau memperkaya khasanah ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi atau seni. Dewasa ini, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi berkembang sangat pesat. Persaingan di dunia kerja juga semakin ketat. Untuk itu, sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal harus selalu berpacu dan menyesuaikan diri dengan berbagai perkembangan ilmu pengethuaan dan teknologi tersebut. Kemampuan siswa dalam menyerap pelajaran harus terus dipertinggi agar dapat bergerak seiring kemajuan zaman. Daerah Desa Sungai Asam merupakan daerah pesisir sungai Kapuas. Akses dari kabupaten Kubu Raya dan jarak yang cukup jauh dari kabupaten kota desa ini kurang mendapatkan perhatian khusus. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di siswa siswi MTs dan MA Minhajul Amilin desa Sungai Asam Kabupaten Kubu Raya, dengan beberapa kepala sekolah dan guru bahwa salah satu permasalahan siswa saat ini salah satunya ialah rendahnya motivasi atau semangat dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran sehingga mengakibatkan hasil yang kurang baik. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi terhadapa siswa siswi di sekolah yang ada di desa sungai asam agar memiliki kesadaran penuh akan pentingnya sebuah pendidikan dan mampu melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dengan efektif sehingga memberikan hasil yang baik. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan training meliputi menyiapkan alat dan bahan, observasi, melakukan kerjasama, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan teknik training. Hasilnya, terlihat siswa siswi MTs dan MA Minhajul Amilin begitu antusias selama proses training. Selain itu, materi yang di sampaikan sangat cocok dengan permasalahan yang di alami siswa-siswa.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar merupakan ukuran untuk menentukan tingkat keberhasilan proses pendidikan. Kurangnya prestasi belajar dapat diakibatkan oleh status gizi, kebiasaan sarapan pagi, akifitas fisik dan gangguankesehatan. Data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pontianak mengenai status gizi menunjukan bahwa pada tahun2013 prevalensi status gizi pada anak usia 6-12 tahun untuk prevalensi kegemukan sebesar 9,64% dan kurus9,08%. Hasil survey pendahuluan didapat 76% siswa memiliki nilai rata-rata raport rendah, 70% siswadengan IMT gemuk, 40 % siswa tidak rutin sarapan pagi dan sebagian siswa melakukan aktifitas fisiksedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi hubungan antara status gizi, kebiasaansarapan pagi, aktifitas fisik dan gangguan kesehatan dengan prestasi belajar anak sekolah dasar di wilayahkerja UPTD Puskesmas Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional.Sampel penelitian sebanyak 132 sampel. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji Chi Square dengan taraf signifikan95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara variabel kebiasaan sarapan pagi (0,001) dangangguan kesehatan (p value=0,025) dengan prestasi belajar. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermaknaantara status gizi (p value=0,651), aktifitas fisik (p value=0,751) dengan prestasi belajar anak sekolah dasardiwilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan. Disarankan untuk petugas  giziPuskesmas Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan untuk meningkatkan edukasi, informasi dan komunikasimengenai sarapan pagi dan upaya promotif dan preventif kepada orang tua siswa dan siswa tentangpentingnya sarapan pagi melalui media leaflet, poster dan banner sesuai dengan waktu dan jumlah energiyang dibutuhkan dan mengadakan kerjasama lintas sektor antara pihak puskesmas dengan UKS sekolahuntuk memantau kesehatan anak dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala agar dapatmengetahui perkembangan tubuh anak. Abstract

Nanga Taman Village whose field was about 415 ha and produce 828 tons of corn ears annually is potential natural resource of corn in Kalimantan Barat. As only its kernel has been used before, the other parts became a waste, which is threatening surrounding environment. The corn silk was unused part of the corn which can be converted into herbal tea for keeping body healthy and cure several disease. However, the villager did not have basic knowledge and skill to utilize it. To improve their knowledge, a training course was given as part of community service in Nanga Taman Village. By having this activity, participants’ attitude toward corn silk were improved as well as it offered a solution to reduce their garbage. Keywords: Nanga Taman Village, herbal tea, corn silk

Abstract

West Kalimantan Health Index occupies the 28th rank of 33 Provinces across Indonesia, while Sekadau District ranks 12th out of 14 districts in West Kalimantan. This indicates that the Sekadau Regency is one of the districts that need to be considered for the development of all sectors. Setuntung and Nanga Ansar Village are two farthest and isolated village in Sakadau. The purpose of KKN-PPM implementation in Setuntung and Nanga Ansar Village was empower the community through the development of active 'Desa Siaga' and the economic sector, especially the processing of snakefruit, banana, and fishery as well as the increase of home reading activities. Implementation of activities in June-August 2016. The results showed succesful implementation of activities in health, economic, and education sectors. In helath sector, we succesfully managed an active 'Desa Siaga', formed posyandu cadres, exhibited assistant nutrition classes in infants and pregnant women in posyandu, initiated of family, schools, and households waste processing. In the economic field, we improved agricultural and fisheris productions, namely snakefruit and fishery, catfish nugget, and pekasam. In the field of education, we formed a mini library and its  cadres. Therefore, the coorperation among Belitang Government, Setuntung Village, Nanga Ansar Villages, and universities need to establish so that guidance and development of this activity is sustainable. Keywords: society empowerment, remote area, agricultures, fisheries ‘Desa Siaga’ Management

Abstract

Pelayanan sektor kesehatan yang baik dan berkualitas merupakan suatu impian dan cita-cita yang diharapkan oleh semua lapisan masyarakat yang ada di semua daerah, termasuk Kabupaten Kayong Utara. Penelitian ini mengkaji kualitas pelayanan sektor kesehatan di Kabupaten Kayong Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Uji validitas  menunjukkan bahwa instrumen valid dengan angka korelasi terendah dengan skor totalnya adalah item 15 (P15) dengan nilai korelasi 0,275 yang hanya valid pada taraf signifikansi 5%, namun tetap dikatakan valid. Sedangkan dari uji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan rumus Spearman Brown menunjukkan angka sebesar 0,782. Jika dibandingkan dengan r tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 1% (0,256) dan 5% (0,195), maka angka Spearman Brown ini lebih besar dari r tabel yang berarti instrumen tersebut dapat dikatakan reliabel. Analisis kualitas pelayanan dengan model SERVQUAL dapat diketahui bahwa kelima dimensi kualitas pelayanan dalam bidang kesehatan di Puskesmas KKU bernilai negatif, sehingga secara keseluruhan menggambarkan kualitas pelayanan belum baik dengan skor SERVQUAL sebesar -0,92. Sedangkan dilihat dari per dimensi yang memiliki kualitas pelayanan tertinggi adalah daya tanggap (responsiveness), yaitu sebesar -1,20. Dimensi yang memberikan kualitas layanan terendah adalah bukti fisik (tangibles) sebesar -0,65. Sedangkan dengan model Diagram Kartesius dapat diketahui bahwa 5  atribut yang termasuk dalam kuadran A yang menjadi skala prioritas,  yaitu : kecepatan dalam proses layanan; keberadaan, kesigapan, kecepatan dan keterampilan tenaga medis; perlengkapan dan fasilitas yang pokok di puskesmas serta tempat duduk pasien pada ruang tunggu perlu ditingkatkan.Good public health services is a dream and ideals that are expected by all levels of society in all areas, including the District of Kayong Utara. This study examines the quality of public health Service in district of Kayong Utara. This study used research instruments which were tested for validity and reliability. Test the validity indicates that the instrument is valid with the lowest correlation number with the total score is item 15 (P15) with a 0.275 correlation value is only valid at the significance level of 5%. While the reliability test using Spearman Brown formula showed score at 0.782. When compared with r  table with a significance level of 1% (0.256) and 5% (0.195), then the number Spearman Brown was bigger than r  table which means that the instrument can be said to be reliable. Analysis of service quality with SERVQUAL models showed five dimensions of service quality in the public health in Puskesmas KKU were negative. That means overall quality of public health service was not good with SERVQUAL score of -0.92. Highest  dimension that showed the highest quality of service is the responsiveness (-1.20), while the lowest was tangibles (-0.65). Cartesian Diagram model concluded that 5 attributes in quadrant A, which became priorities to be upgraded, namely: the speed of the service process; the presence, readyness,  speed and skills of medical personnels; facilities at health centers;  patient seats at the waiting room.

Abstract

Semudun village is one of the villages in Sungai Kunyit with an area of 780 hectares. At first, Semudun village was united with Mendalok village. Along with the development of villages and population growth, Semudun village was divided into Mendalok village, located in the North side and Semudun Village in the south part. Based on problems and potentials of Semudun village above, and also consideration of expertise knowledge, the activities of community services which will be held in the village Semudun just at the aspect  of lacking of syiar Islam and low incomes. To address both of these problems, associated with its potential, activities was focused increased activity in the mosque in the form of pengajian and establishment AlQuran Education Centre in the mosque. Meanwhile, to increase people's income was associated with the potential of fish resources to be carried in explanation and training of manufacturing of processed fish products after harvest, so the fish were obtained not only sold directly in the market, but were processed further do increase the economic value of fish that will impact on rising incomes. Keywords: semudun village Problems, semudun village potential, increased Syiar, improve household incomes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran adalah serangkaian tindakan yang dirancang untuk mendukung proses belajar peserta didik, di mana paa prosesnya dilakukan penyediaan sistem lingkungan yang mengakibatkan terjadinya proses belajar pada diri mahasiswa. Proses belajar tersebut dirancang dengan memperhatikan bagaimana menyampaikan apa yang diajarkan dalam perkuliahan, dosen dituntut memilih strategi/metode yang berorentasi active learning  adalah Team Based Learning (TBL). Memahami konsep merupakan salah satu kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah metode pengembangan motorik selama ini hal ini terlihat dari prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Pendikan Anak Usia Dini semester IV yang berjumlah 42 orang, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dari hasil pengelohan data dapat disimpulkan bahwa : penerapan strategi pembelajaran TBL dapat meningkatkan skor rata-rata posttest dari siklus I sampai III mencapai 95% mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata A dan penerapan strategi TBL disamping sangat disukai mahasiswa, juga dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran mahasiswa semester IV PGPAUD Univ Muh.Pontianak matakuliah metode pengembangan motorikLearning is a series of actions designed to support the learner’s learning process. In this action, the process is carried out by creating proper learning environment for the learners. The learning process is also designed by paying high attention on how to convey what is really taught / the materials.  Lecturers, as the facilitators,  are required to use the active learning oriented method, such  as  team  based  learning,  so  that  the  learners  become  more  active  in  the  classroom. Furthermore, Motor Development subject also requires learners to understand the concept but , so far,   they still face problems in dealing with it. It can be seen from the students’ low learning achievement. Using qualitative and quantitative classroom action research, this study employed forty two PG PAUD students. The study revealed that the implementation of Team Based Learning significantly enhanced the average posttest score of the three cycles. As many as 95% students got A and they preferred to be treated by using TBL method. In addition, TBL method is believed to increase the quality of Motor Development learning process, especially for the fourth semester students of PG PAUD Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi yang optimum untuk mengekstraksi zat pewarna antosianin dari ubi jalar ungu dan zat pewarna karatenoid dari wortel dengan perbandingan pelarut  etanol 96 % dan asam sitrat 5 % masing – masing sebanyak 15 mL : 3 mL. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui stabilitas pigmen antosianin dan karatenoid yang  dihasilkan  terhadap  pengaruh  lingkungan.  Ekstraksi  dilakukan  dengan  variasi suhu 50 oC; 70 oC dan 90 oC untuk mendapatkan suhu optimum dengan lama pemanasan selama 30 menit; 1 jam dan 2 jam. Suhu ekstraksi antosianin ubi jalar ungu pada suhu 70 oC dengan lama pemanasan selama 2 jam menghasilkan nilai absorbansi tertinggi yaitu 0,646 dengan panjang gelombang 540 nm. Suhu ekstraksi karatenoid wortel pada suhu 70 oC dengan lama pemanasan selama 2 jam menghasilkan nilai absorbansi tertinggi yaitu 1,185 dengan panjang gelombang 480 nm. Kata kunci : zat pewarna, ekstraksi, antosianin, karatenoid

Abstract

Empaci village was underdeveloped particularly in education, public health, and economic sector. As a deprived area, support on those particular sectors were needed. Few integrated programs in education, health, and economy has been implemented to promote resident welfare. The programs started by recruiting students to play an active role to manage the programs. Most of the programs empowered local people by means of participative and communicative approach. The programs has been very successful in which it was fully supported by local government. As a result, new local public bodies have been formed including volunteer to remove illiteracy and posyandu cadres. In addition, medicinal herbal garden (toga) and commercial fishery was also erected to improve resident income.
