Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengevaluasi waktu penanaman di luar musim terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dari tiga varietas tanaman bawang merah, di desa Sumbersekar, kabupaten Malang. Tiga varietas tanaman bawang merah ditanam pada Oktober 2009 (akhir musim kemarau), November 2009 (awal musim hujan) dan Desember 2009 (puncak musim hujan) sebagai perlakuan waktu penanaman. Data yang dicatat meliputi luas daun, laju pertumbuhan tanaman (Crop Growth Rate), jumlah umbi per rumpun, rata-rata diameter umbi panen per rumpun (cm), berat kering (matahari) umbi per rumpun (g/rumpun), indeks panen dan produksi tanaman (ton/ha). Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan analisis ragam pada taraf 5%, dan apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Pengamatan penunjang dilakukan terhadap kondisi cuaca selama penelitian. Varietas Super Philips, Bauji dan Batu Ijo yang ditanam pada bulan Oktober 2009 (akhir musim kemarau) mampu menghasilkan jumlah umbi yang lebih banyak dibanding ketika ditanam di puncak musim hujan (Desember 2009). Secara umum pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah yang ditanam pada akhir musim kemarau, menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik pada luas daun, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, diameter umbi, bobot kering (matahari) umbi per rumpun, dan produksi tanaman per hektar dibanding jika ditanam lebih lambat pada puncak musim hujan. Varietas Batu Ijo secara umum menunjukkan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang lebih baik dibanding varietas Super Philips dan Bauji. Kata kunci: bawang merah, penanaman di luar musim

Abstract

Waste fishery products are usually disposed of them so that they become a problem for the environment in the form of foul odor, and environmental aesthetics. The use of waste results can improve their economic value to the method used as the seasoning of cassava crackers. Balado seasoning is ground chili mixed with several other spices then certain types of food are added including anchovies, fish, and others. This people empowerment activity aims to develop an economically independent and competitive trade group in the era of globalization, implement appropriate food processing technology that speeds up business processes and reduces production costs. In addition, it is also to increase creativity in the diversification of processed and utilization of fishery waste. The method used is a survey, approach with the Mojorejo Village Government to synergize activities related to the problem of improving the quality and productivity of cassava crackers, methods of training and counseling for partners and the surrounding community, and ongoing mentoring guidance. Based on the results of the program implementation, it can be concluded that in general the two partners already have the ability to make processed cassava crackers based on a long experience. The training provided can be received by partners and the community based on the results of the satisfaction survey obtained. Both partners were able to utilize the appropriate technology tools provided, as well as an increased understanding of human resource management, financial management, and marketing. Abstract

Plankton is an organism, most of them live hovering and floating in the water with limited movement wich most of them live hovering and floating in the water with limited movement where the stream brings. Plankton has an important role for other organisms, especially in the sea because plankton is a primary producer wich is a food-produser organism. Plankton has never been identified on Mamburit Island, the purpose of this study is to find out how many species were found on Mamburit Island in each of the windward 1 and windward II locations, leeward 1 leeward II twice replication. The results obtained that phytoplankton and zooplankton replication 1 at location of windward 1 and windward II did not have plankton, leeward 1 was found only 1 species of Synedra flugens, 13.32 ind/liter, on location and leeward II, found 2 species, Pleurosigma, and Synedra flugens such as 2 species 19.98 ind / liter, while in replication 2 found 4 species of Synedra Flugens, Pleurosigma, Rhizosolenia borealis, Nauplius,with the number of windward I was 99.96 ind/liter, Leeward 1 was found 1 species, Rhizosolenia borealis, with a total of 6.66 ind / liter. Windward II was not found at all, and leeward II was found in 2 species of Synedra Flugens, Nitzschia with a total of 13.32 ind / liter.

Abstract

This research was conducted in May 2018 in the coastal area of ​​Banyuputih Subdistrict, Situbondo Regency with the aim of estimating the land area and production capacity of shrimp ponds that can be supported by Banyuputih coastal waters based on the rate of biodegradation of organic waste in the form of Total Suspended Solid (TSS). The results showed that the area of ​​intensive ponds (stocking density of 126 birds / m2) that could be supported by waters was 39.30 hectares with shrimp production capacity of 739.72 tons / planting season, whereas for semi-intensive ponds (stocking density of 25 birds / m2) was 313.98 hectares with a maximum shrimp production capacity of 803.85 tons / planting season, and for traditional plus ponds (stocking density of 8 birds / m2) is 743.14 hectares with a maximum capacity of shrimp production of 578.90 tons / planting season. The simulation results of the three shrimp cultivation technologies (traditional plus, semi-intensive and intensive), obtained a combination of shrimp farm area that is still within the limits of environmental carrying capacity, namely: 5% (37.16 hectares) for traditional plus-tech shrimp farm land (8 tail / m2), 50% (157 hectares) for semi-intensive technology shrimp farms (25 individuals / m2), and 45% (17.69 hectares) for intensive technology shrimp farms (126 individuals / m2). The total land area of the third combination of technology is 211 hectares with shrimp production of 763.75 tons/planting season. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the development of shrimp ponds in a sustainable manner in the study area.

Abstract

The main problem caused by African catfish farmers is the input production inefficiency, namely the use of feed. The productivity and profit margins it produces are very low. Another problem with feed inefficiency that arises is the remaining feed at the bottom of the pond and can eventually cause toxins and even death in fish and production failure. One effort that needs to be done is to engineer biofloc technology. Biofloc technology in catfish farming is very important to be transferred to the fish farmers community. The purpose of this activity is to improve the knowledge, skills, and income of fish farmers. The method used is technology transfer, plot demonstration, and implementation of science and technology. The results show that the farming community is enthusiastic and trained in mastering biofloc technology. Its productivity reaches 568 Kg with high density and FCR reaches 0.7 and net profit reaches Rp. 2,850,000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pakukerto Kecamatan Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara purposiv dengan pertimbangan desa tersebut merupakan desa yang mayoritas penduduknya berprofesi sebagai petani dan luas area pertaniannya melebihi setengah dari luas wilayah pedesaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1). Mengetahui struktur permodalan petani desa Pakukerto, 2). Mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber permodalan yang ada di desa Pakukerto dan 3). Mengetahui aksesibilitas petani Desa Pakukerto terhadap lembaga keuangan. Penentuan sampel atau responden berpedoman pada pakar sampling bahwa untuk mendapatkan data yang representatif, sekurang-kurangnya adalah 10% dari populasi yang ada. Data dianalisis dengan metode Tabulasi data. Hasil tabulasi data ini dapat menjadi gambaran tentang hasil penelitian karena data-data yang diperoleh dari lapangan sudah tersusun dan terangkum dalam tabel-tabel yang mudah dipahami maknanya. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan 1) Struktur permodalan petani desa Pakukerto terdiri dari modal sendiri sebanyak 34 responden atau 68% dan 16 responden atau 32% menggunakan modal sendiri ditambah modal pinjaman. 2) Sumber-sumber permodalan petani di desa Pakukerto antara Lain : Bank BRI, Bank BPR, Pegadaian, Kelompok Tani. Ada 3 jenis Bank BPR yang ada di kecamatan Sukorejo yaitu BPR Surasari Hutama dan BPR Sukorejo Makmur. 3) Aksesibilitas petani desa pakukerto terhadap lembaga keuangan cukup rendah. Petani desa Pakukerto lebih memilih meminjam ke Kelompok Tani daripada kepada Bank karena prosedur yang terlalu rumit dan adanya pandangan negatif bahwa bunga bank itu menjerat.

Abstract

Apple (Malus Sylvester Mill) is an annual fruit plant which is one of the horticultural commodities in the sub-tropics or high land which has very good prospects to be developed now and in the future. Andonosari Village, Tutur Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency is the largest apple orchard in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to be able to analyze the costs incurred, analyze the income to be received and analyze the level of value of efficiency of apple farming in Andonosari Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive regression. The main reason researchers used this method was because they wanted to know the existence of income, expenditure and efficiency in growing apple plants in Andonosari Village, Tutur Sub-District, Pasuruan Regency. The results of the research proved that apple farming carried out during the harvest season was still profitable to implement. Apple farming can be said to be not good, if it is proven that so far farmers have not utilized production inputs maximally to increase production. R / C ratio greater than one shows that apple farming in Andonosari Village is currently feasible to cultivate. The conclusion of the study is that the R / C ratio shows that apple farmers get> 1, meaning that apple farming is classified as efficient and profitable. This can be proven that the R / C ratio is the cost incurred in Manalagi apples 3. The suggestions given by the author are (1) Farmers should be able to improve the farms currently managed. (2) Farmers must understand more about farming costs and know things that are found in apples. (3) To increase selling prices, farmers are expected to be able to improve the quality of fruit, especially in uniformity in size

Abstract

Mercury is used as a gold binder and released into the aquatic environment that causes pollution. The concentration of mercury in gold washing wastes must be minimized so that it is not harmful to the waters. One way is to precipitate waste. This study aims to detect mercury concentrations and water quality in each reservoir pool before waste is discharged into the water. The waste pool is six pools (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6) with one pool of clean water (P0). Mercury was detected using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS), the water quality measured was temperature, pH, and color of wastewater. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The concentration of mercury in all settling ponds was between 0.021 ± 0.002 mg / L to 0.051 ± 0.005 mg / L). The decrease in the average mercury concentration from pond P1 to P6 is 16.7%. The concentration of mercury has exceeded the maximum allowed for mercury in water. The temperature in each pond has decreased from pond P1 to P6, but pH has increased.

Abstract

Corn is a food source in several regions in Indonesia, in addition to being a human food source, corn can also be used as animal feed ingredients. Quality classification of corn is needed to produce quality products. The quality of corn quality is determined by the attributes of varietas, lengths, shapes, colors, flavors, techniques, seasons, pests, PH and the quality used as a classification process of quality using a decision tree algorithm. The results of the study were compared with three decision tree criteria namely gain ratio, information gain and Gini index. Accuracy results show that the highest criterion value is 72.76% in the Gini index criterion and the lowest value is the criterion gain ratio of 60.67%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of harvest age on quality of wheat grass juice varieties of guri-3 agritan. The method used is Single Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 treatment factors ie age 11 days, 12 days, 13 days and 14 days and 3 repetitions. Data analysis using ANOVA variance analysis with 1% and 5% confidence interval, if found influence on one variable then continued with BNT test. Observations made include Total Sugar Level, Degree of acidity (pH), yield and organoleptic test include flavor, aroma and color. The result showed that total sugar content was 3,83-6,83%, pH 6,40 - 6,53, yield 80,86% - 82,10%. There is influence of harvest age to total content of grain juice. The best treatment combination was found in U12H (12 days harvest age) with total sugar content 4,33%, pH 6,53 and yield 82,10%. The results of organoleptic tests on 20 panelists show that flavor and aroma are not accepted by the panelists while the color is still acceptable.
