Jurnal Jurusan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Undiksha adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Fakultas Hukum dan Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mewadahi artikel-artikel hasil penelitian dan hasil pengabdian masyarakat dibidang pendidikan dan sosial pembelajaran. Pada akhirnya Jurnal ini dapat memberikan deskripsi tentang perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang pendidikan kewarganegaraan bagi masyarakat akademik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan demokrasi di Indonesia sejak masa pasca-kemerdekaan hingga era reformasi saat ini. Demokrasi sebagai sistem pemerintahan ideal terus mengalami dinamika seiring perubahan politik, sosial, dan hukum di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa esensi demokrasi di Indonesia tercermin dalam sepuluh pilar utama, antara lain: demokrasi berdasarkan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa, demokrasi dengan kecerdasan, kedaulatan rakyat, supremasi hukum (rule of law), pembagian kekuasaan, penghormatan terhadap hak asasi manusia, peradilan yang merdeka, otonomi daerah, pemerataan kemakmuran, dan keadilan sosial. Dalam konteks negara hukum, perkembangan demokrasi juga berkaitan erat dengan prinsip-prinsip konstitusional dan legalitas kekuasaan negara. Adapun perkembangan demokrasi di Indonesia terbagi dalam empat fase utama: demokrasi federal-parlementer-liberal (1945–1959), demokrasi terpimpin (1959–1966), demokrasi Pancasila Orde Baru (1966–1998), dan demokrasi Pancasila era reformasi (1998–sekarang). Demokrasi Indonesia mengalami transformasi signifikan sejalan dengan perubahan rezim politik. Implikasinya, pemahaman terhadap dinamika demokrasi penting untuk memperkuat sistem ketatanegaraan yang demokratis, adil, dan berbasis hukum.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter penting untuk menghadapi perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dan canggih,  banyak sekali tantangan dalam kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan yang bisa merusak karakter bangsa di era Revolusi 4.0. Melalui mata pelajaran PKn pendidikan karakter ditanamkan kepada peserta didik mulai dari jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini sampai Perguruan Tinggi dengan cara pembiasaan dalam lingkungan sekolah melalui kegiatan kurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstra kurikuler. Penguatan pendidikan karakter berguna supaya peserta didik menjadi pribadi yang baik, sopan, jujur, bertanggung jawab, nasionalis dan dapat dipercaya. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan diharapkan mampu menghidupkan kembali karakter peserta didik yang semakin merosot menuju karakter yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penanaman pendidikan karakter juga harus diintegrasikan dalam semua mata pelajaran dengan mengikuti kurikulum yang ada agar anak  mudah  memahami dan melaksanakannya dalam segala bidang kehidupan. Guru juga dituntut untuk menguasai teknologi dan menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman serta merancang pembelajaran abad 21.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze multicultural education as a solution to resolve social conflicts among students. The method used in this study is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and documentation. Multicultural education offers an alternative through the application of educational strategies and concepts based on the utilization of diversity in society, especially those among students such as ethnic diversity, culture, language, religion, social status, gender, ability, age, and race. An approach through multicultural education is important. The education strategy is not only aimed at making it easy for students to understand the courses they are studying, but also to raise their awareness to always behave humanist, pluralist, and democratic. The results showed that Multicultural Education that has been applied in National education is expected to be an agent in the community that bridges the game in the midst of plurality, this can be seen from the substance contained in multicultural education that prioritizes attitudes and principles on democracy, equality, and justice, oriented to humanity, togetherness, and peace. Develop an attitude of recognizing, accepting, and appreciating cultural diversity. With this function, SARA conflict can be prevented.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to provide an overview of the impact of globalization on the Indonesian nation, especially for the younger generation, who are currently deprived of morale due to the impact of globalization. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature review methods and several case studies. The informants of this research come from several scientific journals, electronic books, and other sources whose accuracy has been confirmed by data collection techniques in the form of document studies. The results show that the impact of globalization has a very big influence on the morale of the Indonesian people. Globalization makes Indonesian people have a lifestyle that is not in accordance with the values embedded in Pancasila. There are so many impacts caused by globalization, especially for the future generations of the nation who always follow the flow of globalization without being able to filter the positive and negative impacts. By conducting this research, it is hoped that the Indonesian people, especially the nation's future young generation, will be able to know, sort out, and avoid the negative impacts of globalization that enter Indonesia freely.Keywords: the impact of globalization, national morals, the younger generation, Pancasila values

Abstract

Wawasan Nusantara memandang rakyat, bangsa, dan seluruh wilayah NKRI darat, laut, dan udara sebagai satu kesatuan politik, ekonomi, sosial-budaya, serta pertahanan dan keamanan untuk menjaga integritas dan keberlanjutan negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan hakikat Wawasan Nusantara, keterkaitannya dengan Ketahanan Nasional, dan peran keragaman budaya daerah dalam memperkokoh persatuan. Metode yang digunakan berupa kajian literatur deskriptif-analitis terhadap peraturan, dokumen kebijakan, dan karya ilmiah relevan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Wawasan Nusantara menegaskan ruang hidup bangsa sebagai kesatuan utuh lintas batas geografis dan administratif; internalisasi nilai-nilainya berelasi positif dengan dimensi ketahanan ideologi, politik, ekonomi, sosial-budaya, serta hankam melalui peningkatan ketangguhan dan keuletan dalam menghadapi ancaman, tantangan, hambatan, dan gangguan dari dalam maupun luar; serta keragaman budaya daerah, sebagai akar budaya nasional, bila dikelola inklusif dan berkeadilan, memperkuat identitas dan kohesi. Disimpulkan bahwa Wawasan Nusantara merupakan paradigma integratif yang menopang Ketahanan Nasional dan perlu dikonkretkan dalam kebijakan dan praktik lintas sektor. Implikasinya meliputi penguatan pendidikan kewarganegaraan, literasi budaya, dan pembangunan berkeadilan spasial; kolaborasi berkesinambungan antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah; serta mekanisme mitigasi konflik dan disinformasi berbasis komunitas guna memperkuat kohesi dan kesiapsiagaan nasional.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter bagi generasi milenial berperan vital dalam memperkuat integritas dan pembangunan karakter bangsa melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila di abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah urgensi pendidikan karakter milenial serta strategi pengembangan nilai Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan ialah tinjauan pustaka kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui pencarian di Google Scholar dan Garuda dengan kriteria inklusi bertema pendidikan karakter dan penerapan nilai Pancasila pada milenial. Sebelas sumber sembilan artikel jurnal dan dua buku memenuhi kriteria. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter pada milenial efektif ketika diintegrasikan lintas mata pelajaran dan didukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan layanan (service learning), kewargaan digital, keteladanan pendidik, serta kemitraan sekolah, keluarga, komunitas. Tantangan utama mencakup paparan disinformasi, distraksi digital, dan relativisme nilai. Disimpulkan bahwa penguatan nilai religius, jujur, toleran, disiplin, dan mandiri berkontribusi langsung pada pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila. Implikasi praktisnya meliputi integrasi eksplisit nilai Pancasila dalam kurikulum, pengembangan kompetensi guru pada pedagogi karakter dan kewargaan digital, penyediaan asesmen autentik, serta program kolaboratif dengan orang tua dan organisasi pemuda. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menguji efektivitas intervensi tersebut secara empiris melalui pendekatan mixed methods dan studi longitudinal lintas daerah.

Abstract

Since 2020, Indonesia has treated COVID-19 as a national emergency, prompting a rapid shift to online learning and daily activities. This literature review examines the role of youth (adolescents, university students, and young adults) during the “new normal” adaptation period and explores factors underlying uneven awareness. A qualitative, descriptive review of articles from Scopus and university journals was conducted, complemented by social-media monitoring; an exploratory online questionnaire yielded 55 responses. The findings reveal variability in COVID-19 knowledge among some youth, mixed risk perceptions, and inconsistent compliance with health protocols, alongside strong potential for youth leadership as digital communicators, peer educators, and community volunteers. Youth engagement as agents of change included promoting accurate information, encouraging protocol adherence, and articulating bottom-up critiques of policies perceived as inequitable for vulnerable groups. We conclude that empowering youth is pivotal to reducing transmission while sustaining civic values during crisis adaptation. Practical implications include targeted health-literacy campaigns on social platforms, peer-led outreach in schools and communities, and partnerships among youth organizations, educators, and health authorities to model and reinforce protective behaviors. Limitations include the small, non-representative survey (n=55); future research should employ larger, probabilistic samples and mixed methods to evaluate which youth-centered interventions most effectively build awareness, responsibility, and resilience during and after public-health emergencies.

Abstract

A national consensus affirms Pancasila as Indonesia’s state foundation and national ideology; the challenge for the next generation particularly santri is to internalize its principles and translate them into sustained practice. This study describes and analyzes how pesantren strengthen santri’s Pancasila ideology. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and were examined with thematic analysis. Findings indicate three mutually reinforcing domains of formation: (1) role modeling through the exemplarity of kyai/ustaz, disciplined routines, deliberation (musyawarah), and everyday adab; (2) education via explicit integration of Pancasila values into religious and civics instruction, enrichment of national literacy, and reflective assignments; and (3) pesantren activities [i]including habituation of worship and moral conduct, student organizations, community service, and ceremonial events that cultivate mutual cooperation (gotong royong), tolerance, and rule observance. Taken together, a pesantren ecosystem that combines exemplar, curriculum, and authentic practice effectively strengthens santri’s understanding, attitudes, and enactment of Pancasila values. Practical implications include capacity building for educators in values-based pedagogy, development of reliable affective–behavioral assessment tools, stronger pesantren–government–community partnerships, and adaptation of teaching materials to address digital-era challenges and risks of intolerance. Abstract

This article examines the extent of social integration achieved by Indonesian communities over two years of the COVID-19 pandemic and its implications for accelerating recovery. It also analyzes the positive and negative impacts of Industry 4.0 and their connection to the education system that has operated alongside the pandemic. A descriptive–analytical literature review was conducted using scholarly articles, policy documents, and relevant reports, complemented by secondary data on education and digital transformation. Findings indicate that social integration rooted in mutual aid (gotong royong), community networks, and government private collaboration strengthened response capacity; however, gaps in access, digital literacy, and public trust constrained outcomes. Industry 4.0 accelerated adoption of digital platforms, automation, and analytics supporting health services and remote learning, while simultaneously amplifying inequality, psychosocial burdens, and misinformation risks. Education shifted to online and hybrid modalities with mixed results: flexibility increased, but quality and equity depended heavily on infrastructure, teacher competence, and school–home readiness. We conclude that rapid recovery is feasible when social integration is coupled with inclusive digital transformation. Practical implications include expanding infrastructure and connectivity subsidies, strengthening digital literacy and online safety, building teacher capacity for technology-enhanced pedagogy, improving accountable data governance, and redesigning curricula and assessment for equitable hybrid learning. Future research should map best practices across regions and evaluate the impact of integrated social–digital interventions on educational and public-health resilience.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the weakening internalization of Pancasila values within society, particularly among millennials, amid rapid advances in science and technology and a shift toward more individualistic life orientations. It aims to rearticulate ways of applying Pancasila so that it remains relevant to today’s social–digital ecosystem. The study employs a literature review and descriptive–qualitative analysis of everyday practices in offline and online spaces, complemented by examples of community initiatives. Findings indicate an erosion in the internalization of mutual cooperation (gotong royong), deliberation and consensus (musyawarah), and social justice, reflected in egocentric interaction preferences and lower collective participation; however, pockets of positive practice—discussion forums, hobby communities, and digital collaborations—reveal potential pathways for revitalization. The study concludes that re-actualizing Pancasila requires contextual approaches: youth-friendly language, meaningful participatory spaces, and role modeling from micro to institutional levels. Practical implications include strengthening project-based character education and service-learning, integrating critical digital literacy into curricula, fostering government–school–community/edtech partnerships for collaborative programs, and running evidence-informed positive-narrative campaigns tracked through indicators of social participation and community cohesion..
