Abstract

Digital transformation in banking is a must and related to the culture in an organization to serve customers using digital technology to transform the internal processes of the business. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the process of digital transformation and the role of digital organizational culture in digital transformation in local banking. The sample of this study is employees who work at Bank Bengkulu (Bank of Bengkulu) which is a local government-owned bank. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach using open-ended questions with the e-survey questionnaire method. The collected data are analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Research findings show that micro themes of digital transformation, such as outside-in, cross-work collaboration, work creativity, and agile leadership, are still not significantly developed at Bank Bengkulu. In addition, cultural behavior, digitalization capabilities, digitization skills, IT infrastructure, and business processes are also still weak. Some technology programs are still in the early stages of development and progress is slow. In conclusion, this study illustrates that digital transformation and digital organizational culture are still not significantly developed at Bank Bengkulu. Constraints such as inadequate human resource skills, weak IT infrastructure, and lack of responsiveness in the face of change need to be considered. The implication of the results of this study is the importance of attention to digital skills development, IT infrastructure improvement, and organizational culture change to achieve successful digital transformation at Bank Bengkulu.

Abstract

The growth of global demand for qualified Indonesian seafarer labor is a key issue in this study. This study aims to analyze the impact of global work competencies and the mediating role of sensory, behavioral, and intellectual experiences in accepting end users in crew management companies. The study involved 240 crew managers/supervisors who interacted with Indonesian seafarers. The analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Method. Research findings show that global work competencies have a significant effect on end-user acceptance. Nonetheless, sensory experience does not mediate the relationship between global work competence and end-user acceptance. In contrast, behavioral and intellectual experience play a key role as mediators, with intellectual experience having a more prominent impact than behavioral experience in increasing end-user acceptance. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of global work competence and intellectual experience in increasing end-user acceptance in the context of crew management. The implications of this research support the development of global work competency development strategies to improve service quality in the shipping industry.

Abstract

This study predicts the influence of Experiential Marketing and promotions on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction acting as a mediator, within the context of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) fast-food restaurant in City "P," East Java. The research method employed is quantitative associative. The research sample consists of 100 respondents who are consumers visiting KFC to purchase and enjoy its products. The sampling technique utilized is convenient sampling. Data is analyzed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analytical tool. Prior to hypothesis testing, an evaluation of the indicators with respect to their constructs (Measurement model) and an assessment of the relationships among variable constructs (Structural model) were conducted, resulting in satisfactory criteria and justifying the continuation of hypothesis testing. The findings demonstrate that Experiential Marketing directly influences customer satisfaction and loyalty, while promotions also directly impact customer satisfaction and loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction, in addition to its direct influence on loyalty, also serves as a complementary mediator between Experiential Marketing and promotions in affecting customer loyalty.

Abstract

The competitiveness in the digital era is strengthened by many companies through digital transformation, such as PT Telekomunikasi Selular Indonesia, which adopted cloud computing. However, they faced increased service disruptions and usage costs exceeding the initial design in the early stages of implementation. This study aims to analyses the crucial factors determining the success of digital transformation in the implementation of cloud technology at PT Telkomsel. In this research, the phenomenon under study is explored through a case study approach, utilizing Creswell's Data Analysis Technique and triangulation validation tests, including in-depth interviews, observations, and secondary data collection. The informants involved in this research are internal and external experts in their fields and are involved in this cloud project. In addition to involving informants from the IT department, informants from other departments are also involved to provide a comprehensive understanding of this research. The Critical Success Factors (CSF) model for cloud projects by Corriea and Martens (2022) is used as a framework to identify the determining factors for the success of a cloud project. The analysis results show that people, change management, contract, and communication are factors of concern in the success of digital transformation in the implementation of cloud technology at PT Telkomsel. Thus, this research provides valuable insights to improve strategy and approach in cloud implementation and serves as a learning resource for other organizations undergoing digital transformation using cloud technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the liquidity (those that are proxy ed with current ratio) and good corporate governance (those that are proxied with size of the board of commissioners, proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership) to risk disclosure. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis for manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2016-2018. The research sample consisted of 13 companies with a purposive sampling method. The reason for using the 2016-2018 period is to get the condition of manufacturing companies in Indonesia which were still relatively stable before the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that managerial ownership had a significant positive effect on risk disclosure. Liquidity, size of the board of commissioners, proportion of independent commissioners, and institutional ownership do not have a significant influence on risk disclosure. The novelty of this research is the formation of a theoretical model of good corporate governance through indicators of managerial ownership in influencing risk disclosure, thereby providing an overview of the importance of ownership by managers so that risk disclosure can be carried out optimally. This research contributes to the understanding of the factors influencing risk disclosure and provides guidance for companies in improving good corporate governance to achieve optimal risk disclosure.
