Abstract

Online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic raises problems for students due to the lack of learning media that supports the learning process. This research aims to know the design of the media and know the feasibility of E-Storybook learning media on plant parts material and its function in the science content of Grade IV Elementary School. The ADDIE development model is the model used in this study. This research stage consists of analysis stage (Analyze),design stage (Design),development stage (Development),implementation stage (Implementation),and evaluation stage(Evaluation). The subject of this study is the learning medium E-Storybook. Data collection techniques using questionnaire methods. The data collected in quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive data analysis. Product validation is done by 3 experts, namely learning content experts, learning design experts and learning media experts. The results showed that the average validity score of content experts is 92% with excellent qualifications, the average validity score of learning design experts is 93% with excellent qualifications, the average score of learning media experts is 95% with excellent qualifications and the average result of 3 respondents is 92.7% with excellent qualifications. Thus the learning media of E-Storybook has been declared eligible for use in online learning.

Abstract

Lack of digital-based learning resources makes students experience problems in learning. This is because conventional learning resources are less practical so students prefer innovative learning sources. This study aims to compile and use innovative and creative teaching materials by the curriculum, student development, and information technology developments. This research is classified as a development research type with the Dick and Carey model. The research data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the E-book development show that it is very feasible to use. The score obtained is 3.8 or 95% from the validator. This e-book is also considered practical with an average value of 84.07%. The practical value is known by conducting individual trials, large group trials, and teacher assessments. The results of the field test showed that the interactive e-book developed was able to improve problem-solving skills in grade IV students. After being given an interactive e-book, the students' scores classically increased to 92.59%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interactive e-book developed meets the standards of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness for use in grade IV SD students. The implication of this research has the impact of increasing student motivation in learning so that it affects student learning outcomes that increase.

Abstract

Low-grade students still have difficulty in writing. Writing delays can hinder the learning process. This study aimed to develop writing learning video products for first-grade elementary school students whose validity has been tested. This research refers to the ADDIE development model procedure. However, this study did not implement and evaluate stages due to limited time, effort, resources, and finance. The subjects of this study were two material experts, two media experts, and two practitioners. The object of this research is the validity of the writing learning video. The data collection of this research used a questionnaire method by providing assessment sheets to two media expert lecturers, two material expert lecturers, and two first-grade elementary school teachers. The data from the validation results from the experts were then analyzed using the mean formula to determine the average validity score of the writing learning videos. The analysis results showed that the average validation score for writing learning videos is 4.44 with very good criteria. The average score of validation for writing learning video materials is 4.06 with very good criteria. Based on the analysis results, the writing learning video for first-grade students of SD was declared valid and had very good criteria.

Abstract

The use of a monotonous and less attractive learning model results in low connectivity and low confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learnng model on the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material. The formulation of the problem in this study is wether there is an effect of the Think Talk Write learning model on the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material. This research is conducted to students class IV. This study is a quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design in the form Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques method the test and questionnaries. Data analysis uses normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The results show that: 1) There is an effect of the Think Talk Write learning model on the mathematical connection ability, as evidenced by the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.038 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted in the Paired Sample T-Test there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) There is an influence of the Think Talk Write learning model on self-confidence from the independent calculation there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, while in Paired the results are Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This research implies that the TTW learning model can improve the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on all activities including learning activities that were initially carried out through direct interaction between teachers and students, becoming online learning activities. Online learning activities, which are new among elementary school teachers, have resulted in differences in teacher perceptions of online learning activities. This study aims to determine the teacher's perspective on planning, implementing and evaluating learning activities in the network (online). This study used a descriptive research design with a sample of 64 people from a total population of 80 teachers. Data collection used non-test methods with instruments in the form of closed questionnaires. Stages of data analysis using percentage and mean (average). The results obtained in planning learning activities in the network (online) amounted to 77.46% with positive criteria, in the implementation of online learning activities, 66.48% were obtained with the less positive category and in the evaluation of learning activities online (online) obtained 73.34% results with positive criteria. So it can be concluded that teachers' perceptions are positive about planning online learning activities, teachers' perceptions are less positive about planning online learning activities, and teachers' perceptions are positive about evaluating online learning activities.

Abstract

Pandemic covid-19 has a significant impact on the world of education. Changes in the learning system affect the learning process. The problem arises felt by educators of east Kalimantan palm oil plantations related to online learning support facilities. Network limitations and communication tools become a separate¬¬ problem in educating the nation's children during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify strategies, methods, obstacles, and solutions for teachers in solving problems during the covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted through qualitative methods, involving three elementary school teachers. Observation data retrieval techniques, interviews, and documentation. Test the data's validity by triangulation the sources .the research subjects of three educators in Teladan Prima Benua Baru and Teladan Prima 01 elementary schools. Data analysis using Miles &Huberman consists of three activities that coincide: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results showed obstacles, namely smartphone ownership, the unavailability of network coverage for the internet, TV, radio, limited teaching materials, student home distance, student discipline, parental limitations in accompanying children to learn, and time constraints. Teacher problem-solving strategies include implementing blended learning, creating learning groups, regular visits to students, partnering with parents, adapting teaching plans, optimizing electronic media, and utilizing creative media. Thus, aspects of problem-solving skills are essential for educators.
