Researchers used a qualitative approach with the case study method which was carried out by observation, research, implementation, data analysis and preparation of research reports. This study involves a principal, 2 teachers and 2 guardians of students with special needs. This study uses data collection techniques including observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study was carried out through stages including data collection, data reduction, data classification, and making conclusions. Abstract

The low character of students, one of which is the level of creativity possessed by students, has decreased after experiencing online learning due to Covid-19. The purpose of this study was to analyse the teacher's strategy in fostering student creativity through project learning to strengthen Pancasila students and to describe the constraints experienced by the teacher and the solutions made by the teacher in carrying out project learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological model. The subjects in this study were teachers and 4th-grade elementary school students. Researchers collect data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model from Miles and Haberman. The results showed that teachers used two strategies in cultivating students' character and creativity: differentiation learning and project learning to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. Constraints found in addition to the low creativity of students are the limited references to the independent curriculum books for grades 1 and 4, the low availability of facilities, and project learning support tools. Another obstacle is time management because project-based learning usually takes a long time. For this reason, the teacher needs the right strategy to foster student creativity. It is hoped that the implications of this research can be studied in more depth to complement and be used as a basis for other research.

This research aims to analyse students' enthusiasm for implementing P5 in the implementation of the new curriculum by focusing on the theme of local wisdom that develops through project-based learning. The qualitative description method was applied in this study. This study is based on primary and secondary data. This study's principal data sources are fourth-grade teachers and fourth-grade learners, while the secondary data are the results of observation and documentation in the form of project modules and the results of P5 implementation activities on the theme of local wisdom. Data analysis technique used is interactive, and it consists of four components of the analysis process: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study's findings revealed that learners were highly enthusiastic about the application of P5. Although it was relatively new in the implementation of the independent curriculum, it was able to become a new value for students and teachers so that the projects carried out did not hinder the learning process by determining the choice of themes by the teacher. in accordance with the facilities and capabilities of the school. Improving the character values of students according to the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

The importance of developing higher-order thinking skills in the 21st century impacts the standardization of learning tools in schools. This research analyses the lesson plans prepared using the HOTS-based learning plan indicators. The research design used is document analysis. The data source in the study was the lesson plans that elementary school teachers had prepared, as many as 4 lesson plans—data collection techniques using documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, display, and verification. The study results showed that the HOTS aspect was included in the lesson plan the teacher had prepared. Namely, the competency selection aspect was 83.3%. Formulation of indicators by 25%. The identity of the selection of learning materials is 100%. The formulation of learning objectives is 50%, the use of learning methods is 75%, and the use of learning resources is 75%. The use of learning media is 100%. Learning activities by 100%, selection of assessment by 100%. Overall the coverage of lesson plans analyzed on HOTS was 80.2%. The HOTS-based learning plans that elementary school teachers have prepared still need to improve their preparation, especially in using HOTS verbs. A review of the HOTS-based learning implementation plan is needed to achieve learning activities that refer to developing students' higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

Reading is the most common learning difficulty experienced by elementary school students in the early or lower grades. Early-grade elementary school students have significant problems related to reading and language skills. It impacts the reading ability scores of Grade 2 elementary school students, which are still low, so new methods are needed to improve student's reading skills. This study aimed to analyze the role-playing method's use on the reading ability of Grade 2 elementary school students. This research is a type of experimental research. This study used a pre-experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design (pretest test-posttest single group). The subjects in this study were all 2nd-grade elementary school students, totaling 32 students consisting of 13 girls and 19 boys. The methods used to collect data are observation and tests. The instrument used is a matter of difficulty. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistical analysis. The result of the study show that the role-playing method significantly improves the reading ability of grade 2 elementary students. Thus, giving the role-playing process can improve the reading ability of grade 2 elementary students.
