Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is essential in machining engineering lessons at vocational schools because students often carry out practices involving many complex and sharp objects. This research aims to analyze occupational safety and health implementation in machining practical learning. This research uses an ex-post facto quantitative approach—research subjects in class XI machining engineering in four vocational schools with a sample of 172 people. Data collection uses surveys, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is regression analysis. The findings show first, there is a significant influence between the application of K3 on learning machining practices. Second, the analysis results of the impact of the application of K3 on learning machining practices are in the weak category. Third, the results of the synthesis and evaluation show that there are four reasons or factors that influence the inadequate implementation of K3 in learning machining practices, including the lack of student knowledge about K3, the lack of school facilities related to K3, the lack of student perception regarding the importance of K3, and the lack of student behavior regarding K3 (motivation, discipline, honesty). This research concludes that applying K3 in learning machining practices is the task of stakeholders and every individual because health and safety at work are some of the supporting aspects towards success.

The absence of innovative learning media has resulted in students' science learning outcomes not being achieved optimally. This research aims to produce a design and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of comic video learning media. This research uses the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this research were 2 experts, 1 practitioner, and 1 group of fifth-grade elementary school students. In contrast, the research object was comic video learning media on science content, material about the properties of things and their changes. The data collection methods used are questionnaires to measure the validity and practicality of the media developed and multiple choice questions to measure students' science learning outcomes. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this research show that producing a product in the form of comic video learning media on science content material about the nature of objects and their changes, the amusing video learning media obtained very good validity with an achievement level of 90% by material experts and 93.33% from media experts, achieving a level of practicality. Amounted to 96.67% by practitioner responses, 97.5% by students in individual tests, and 98.75% by small group tests. It was concluded that comic video learning media effectively improved students' science learning outcomes. Football skills instruments are needed by football coaches or practitioners to identify talents and evaluate the training process of each player. Currently, there are many types of football skill instruments, but instruments that are in accordance with the characteristics of Indonesian players and the Indonesian Football Development Curriculum (Filanesia) are not yet available. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of football skills instruments that are suitable for Filanesia in order to obtain information on the needs, urgency, benefits, and draft models of these instruments. This research approach uses mixed methods, namely quantitative and qualitative. A total of 30 respondents were involved in this study, consisting of 25 football coaches and 5 expert lecturers in the field of football. Data was collected using questionnaires distributed through g-forms and through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. Questionnaire results were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics. Apart from this analysis, data triangulation was used to analyse the result of the interviews and discussions during FGD. The results of this study indicate that a football skill instrument is very useful for coaches and players, and the urgency of developing a Filanesia-based football skill instrument model is very high. Thus, a draft instrument model has been produced for two levels of age groups (10–12 years and 13–16 years). Of course, this is an opportunity for further research, namely to validate the two draft models and measure their reliability so that the two test models can be used by football school coaches.

Modalities are often used in both spoken and written material. However, people only know the modalities and values manifested in academic written texts once they conduct a study. This research aims to analyze the form and matter of modalities and investigate how these modalities are realized in Covid-19 scholarly articles. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and Halliday's theory. The data consists of clauses of six COVID-19 social and political journal articles on various topics, such as (social, economic, political, health, communication, and tourism). Data collection was carried out using a documentary approach. The model used in this research is interactive. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the findings of this research, 260 clauses contain modality, and two types of modality are used in them. This research also found the realization of modality as a capital operator that is often used in Covid-19 academic papers, as it is. Found 238 capital operators. Apart from that, authors generally use limited modal operators in their articles because there are 238 modal operators located, and this is followed by additional modals with a total of 18. On the other hand, passive verb predicators and adjectives are rarely found.

Schools had never implemented special techniques in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling to develop students' intercultural communication at school. These problems cause failure in the communication process which can result in worsening social relations between students. The aim of this research is to analyze the differences in intercultural communication between Tourism Vocational School students before and after the transactional analysis counseling intervention. The research design used is a pretest posttest group design. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling, namely sampling based on the researcher's judgment. This research uses two types of instruments, namely: (1) transactional analysis counseling module treatment materials, and (2) data collection instruments in the form of an intercultural communication competency scale. The data collected in this research is then analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon statistical test. To answer the hypothesis in this research, it can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest hypothesis test table which shows a significance figure of 0.028 which means less than 0.05 so that Ho is rejected, so the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a difference in intercultural communication between Tourism Vocational School students before the transactional analysis counseling intervention and after intervention in the experimental group.
