The article determines the effectiveness of currency control body activities in the Russian Federation by supply chain management. Currency regulation and currency control, the methodology of international calculations for export-import transactions is one of financial policy trends in the Russian Federation. The instruments of currency regulation and currency control affect the balance of payments, the rate of national currency, the level of foreign exchange reserves, provide the necessary dynamics of foreign trade development. The main problem in this case is the issue of balancing the freedom of foreign economic activity and government control over its subjects. In such conditions, the role of currency regulation and currency control increases sharply in the state. It should be noted that, despite the increase of imposed penalty collection and the increase of currency control body work efficiency, one cannot say that currency control was ineffective in 2015-2017. Ideally, the effectiveness of control activities should be reflected in violations and imposed penalties volume reduction, which in turn would mean the control effectiveness increase. Let's note that the identification of suspicious transactions should be carried out at the banking level; therefore, their elimination can be achieved only through the effective work of currency control agents.

One of the most important components of tourism infrastructure is the hotel industry. In recent years the quantity of means of collective placement in the Republic of Tatarstan increased. In the republic means of placement of almost all categories are presented, among them there are also representatives of such large hotel chains as Hilton, Marriott, ark Inn, Ramada, Ibis. The food industry is also an integral part of tourism infrastructure of the region. The show business of the Republic of Tatarstan covers a huge range of opportunities for visitors, beginning with excursion tours on historical, architectural and cultural sights, finishing with a possibility of visit of various festivals. Today the most important component of tourist infrastructure is transport infrastructure. Its importance and the importance is that first of all for the tourist it is necessary quickly and with comfort to reach a certain destination. Often an opportunity without special waste of time to reach the appointed place acts as criterion for selection of the place of a trip. As for the Republic of Tatarstan, it possesses an extensive transport network and includes all means of transport. The advantageous geographical location also contributes to the development of transport infrastructure. Public authorities of the republic also pay attention to development of the transport system. The Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan adopted the State program "Development of the transport system to the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 - 2022" which purpose is ensuring further development and creation of a modern transport complex. Tourism in the Republic of Tatarstan in recent years became one of the most dynamically developing branches of economy. The study is to examine the impact of consumer-brand identification (CBI) to strengthen the sustainability of Malaysian Fashion Brands (MFBs) that are facing competitive fights in the marketplace. A report showed that approximately 90% of MFBs that falls in SME category have to close down their businesses due to lacking in consumer-brand relationship as a competitive edge. The study had developed an integrated framework where CBI as the independent variable and Brand Loyalty as the dependent variable in creating consistent high values positively perceived through Brand Community that serves as a mediator. The moderating effect of individual heterogeneity of brand preferences among MFB consumers also being examined. The data was collected from 115 respondents of MFBs consumers by using non-probability sampling of convenient and snowball sampling techniques. A causal model was developed and tested in SEM-PLS and the results indicated that there was no significant relationship between CBI and brand loyalty however, brand community potentially full mediated the relationship of CBI and brand loyalty as well as individual heterogeneity moderated significantly the relationship. Future implications and limitations of the research study were discussed based on the research findings.

Despite growing concern on the quality and safety of food available in the market, only a small portion of consumers purchase organic food products. Therefore, this study aims to explore the perception of consumers towards the benefits and challenges of organic food consumption. For that purpose, a semi-structured interview was conducted with three organic food consumers in Tanjung Malim, Perak and data were analysed by using thematic analysis. The findings confirmed “healthiness” and “green environment” as the benefits of organic consumption, while “high price” and “the lack of organic food availability” were described as the challenges in organic food consumption. The implication of the study is that campaigns towards organic food consumption should be focusing on the healthier eating and environmental-friendliness of organic food production. Moreover, organic food producers need to focus on reducing the cost of organic food production to reduce price and increase distribution of organic food to penetrate more market segments.

In Malaysia, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) of food manufacturing industry is the second highest contributor in manufacturing sector and plays an important role to the economic development and growth. Hence, monitoring process of the industry should be occupied comprehensively and appropriately even though it is categorized under small- scale organization. Shrimp paste production is one of the small-scale food production that is popular in Malaysia. In this study, a performance of shrimp paste production is measured by using simulation approach. A discrete event simulation model is developed to illustrate the processes in the production line which involved four major processes. From the model, it is estimated that the average process time taken to produce 2000 pieces of shrimp paste is 235.13 minutes while the average waiting time taken in the operation system is 89.21 minutes. The findings also show that the bottleneck of the production process is found to be at packaging process and some of the resources are not fully utilized.

An unexpected event in the supply chain will disturb material flow and activities in the whole. The occurrence of such interference would have caused losses at time and cost. In order to anticipate this situation, it needs proper supply chain risk management. Research was done in wooden toy industry case study which has wide marketing range. Fuzzy Reasoning House of Risk (FRHOR) are used to solved the problem. FRHOR is combination of fuzzy reasoning risk assessment model and house of risk. House of Risk Method is used to identify the most potential risk agents, while the fuzzy reasoning risk assessment model is used to determine the risk severity by risk agents. Based on the analysis, it is found that risk agent stock out of the product is the most potential risk agent. To reduce the impact, recommended mitigation strategies that can be used for stock out product risk agents in werehouse are flexible supply base, safety stock, internal coordination, as well as create and control production schedules.

The article presents the results of an economic and statistical analysis of the effect of zonal conditions on the supply chain (supply chain) of products, production and cost of products for growing and fattening cattle separately from dairy and meat cows. Typological groupings of agricultural organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan based on average annual data for 2014-2016 were used as a toolkit of analysis, which made it possible to obtain more reliable estimates compared with the grouping for a particular year. Significant differences in the supply chain between zones, as well as between areas in the context of individual zones were found, there were also identified three groups of areas in terms of costs, productivity and cost of production. There were revealed features of the cost structure, productivity level and wages in cattle breeding in the context of zones. Multiple correlation-regression models of livestock productivity and production costs for all areas and zones were built, which made it possible to determine the most significant factors. The obtained results should be used in the development of strategies and planning for organizing the management of the supply chain of products, as well as the location, production specialization, taking into account the influence of natural and climatic conditions and the availability of natural forage lands to ensure efficient production of cattle breeding.

In this article, a production inventory model with dynamic production rate and production time dependent selling price has been presented. We consider the product with constant deterioration rate which is a very realistic approach. It is also considered that the production rate is a decreasing function of the inverse efficiency of the system. Here, time dependent quadratic demand is deliberated which is suitable for the products whose demand increases initially and subsequently it starts to decrease. Industries like fashion and electronics most probably deals with this type of demand. The main objective is to maximise the total profit with respect to inverse efficiency and total production period. The model is supported with numerical example. Sensitivity analysis is done to derive insights for decision-maker. Graphical results, in two and three dimensions, are exhibited for optimality of the model with supervisory decisions.
