Abstract

Electronic commerce brings huge business opportunities and revenue growth to companies like e- retailers, mainly due to its convenient, interactive, lower costs and high degree of customization and personalization to their customers. With respect to logistics outsourcing, online shopping takes place in the chain consisting of the third party logistics providers, e-retailer, and the customer, which represents a service triad. Since, the delivery service is provided by the third party logistics (3PL) service providers, the satisfaction level of the end customers depends on the combination of both product delivery service and e-retailers service. The study proposes a research model that integrates the e-service quality (ESQ), e- service recovery quality(ESRQ), and the logistic service quality(LSQ) that are provided by the e-retailers, which furthers influences both customer satisfaction and loyalty. The study examines the second order dimensions of ESQ, ESRQ, and LSQ using second stage reflective-formative approach. The outcome of the data analysis, with the sample size of 350, concludes that ESQ strongly influences LSQ, customer satisfaction (CS) and customer loyalty (CL) when using online retail websites. Similarly, when CS is achieved it also has a strong relationship on CL. The outcome of the analysis also evaluated that ESRQ has a strong influence on CS. The relationship between LSQ and CS, LSQ and CL are strongly significant, than ESQ and ESRQ Index Termsâ?? Service Quality, ESQ, ESRQ, 3PL and LSQ

Abstract

Abstract—This paper examines the weak-form of market efficiency for six emerging Asian markets by using daily, weekly and monthly indices data based on the information management. The returns are not normally distributed, because they are negatively skewed and leptokurtic, and also found conditional heteroscedasticity. Findings suggest that none of the sample markets follow Random-walk and hence all are weak-form efficient markets except South Korean Markets. Additionally, short-term variants of the technical trading rules have better predictive ability than long-term variants. The results also reveal that these markets do not follow the same trend; the prices predictability is not analogous in all the sample markets.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess the travellerâ??s wayfinding behaviour of airport terminal access design. Airport wayfinding is defined as a process in which a traveller makes a decision to navigate using information support systems in order to arrive to destination successfully. Quantitative data is acquired to give meaningful results justifying the research outcomes and allow non-biased interpretation of the research results. It represents the process within the development of the methodology and the concept of airport terminal access design and human wayfinding behaviour. The questionnaire is used to increase the reliability and validity of the research. Respondents who volunteered for the study are chosen among the travellers in airport terminal. The Mean, Standard Deviation (SD) and Two-Way ANOVA test were used to analyse the results and discussed with reference to the general needs as standard design of airport terminal access and take into account the preference of travellersâ?? general experience. The paper will conclude by suggesting guidelines for airport terminal wayfinding design that will seek to optimise the relative aspirations of all parties concerned. Although many studies have been conducted on wayfinding in general, a detailed evaluation on airport terminal wayfinding design and human wayfinding behaviour in respect of travellers were still unexplored domains.

Abstract

This study aims to propose risk factor analysis and to estimate how risk factors impact the average production efficiency of Thai sawn rubberwood timber exports to China as this impact could represent an aspect of the market. Data from the Risk in Value Chain concept and in-depth interviews with Thai sawn rubberwood timber exporters were used to identify the variables. The data collected from the distributed questionnaires were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis. Four significant risk factors were extracted and found to be reliable: irregularity, volatility, dependability, and ambiguity. The researchers used multiple regression analysis to estimate how risk factors impact the average production efficiency. As statistically significant results with confidence intervals of 95%, risks from irregularity and volatility were two factors that had highly negative impacts on average production efficiency. The Thai government and sawn rubberwood timber exporters could use these results as a guide to carefully develop a strategy or to plan for their future business.

Abstract

The study examines the moderating effect of innovation in the relationship of supply chain management practices (SCMP) and firm performance (FP) of the SMEs of Indonesia.  To achieve this objective, using cross sectional research design, 250 questionnaires were distributed among the supply chain managers of the SMEs by using a convenient sampling technique which yield an 80% response rate. The data was analyzed by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The findings of the study have shown that all the management practices have a positive and significant relationship with the FP of Indonesia SMEs. Furthermore, indirect moderating effect of innovation also shown that Innovation has a positive and significant moderating effect in most of the SCMP and FP. Whereas, one of the SCMP namely, quality information sharing (QIS) and FP relationship is not significantly moderated by the innovation. These findings empirically revealed that innovation is considered to be a significant moderator in the relationship of SCMP and FP which is considered to be significant contribution in the current study. Therefore, the current study added a body of literature in the existing empirical findings. The research limitation and future directions are also discussed at the last of the study.
