Abstract

To study the customer perception of Bright Auto Plast Pvt Ltd." This study is confined to the automobile companies only. The sample size is chosen as 30. Convenience Sampling is used, and descriptive research is adopted. This study is mainly carried on to find the customer satisfaction level of Bright Auto Plast Pvt Ltd. The major factors that lead to customer satisfaction are the product, pricing, quality, and service. The study has found that the existing system in Bright Auto Plast is not adequate and can be modified accordingly to make it effective.

Abstract

Abstract

Transportation associations, especially open transport organizations, have not taken after the lead of assembling or other administration ventures in receiving Total Quality Administration (TQM). Abstract

Regional Government of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (previously known as Lesser Sunda Islands) has declared the island of Lombok as Islamic tourism destination. The aim is to keep Islamic tradition in Lombok and offer Lombok uniqueness with strong Islamic characteristics and background to visitors. This new Islamic branding also to differentiate Lombok with Bali which is perceived too western, despite its strong local culture. The Islamic tourism branding is also to attract Moslem visitors from both local and overseas as well non-Moslem to enjoy Lombok without having to leave Islamic way of life and for the host on welcoming and serving the tourists during the visit. This new branding however arises some new questions; how the non-Moslem would response to the new Islamic tourism branding and what are the related potential issues and concerns. To answer the questions a preliminary qualitative study was conducted  through series of interview with some Indonesian non-Moslem informants who have strong interest in tourism. The result suggest there is an acceptenace of Islamic tourism and branding and signifies Indonesia as Moslim country. Peace, inclusiveness, and being universal are the potiential key branding points for Islamic tourism in Lombok, with the island natural beauty and cultural heritage as the main attraction. however, there is a concern of misunderstanding of Islam as religion which emphasizes on strictnes and restrictions. Yet the issue could further be explored in the future research.

Abstract

Businesses are gradually realizing the importance of corporate social responsibility in securing greater returns in their operations. This approach is intended to create good image for the company subsequently to attract consumers to purchase products or services from that company. The issue now is whether the consumers are ethical or not in their decision to purchase products or services from the company. Ethical consumers will think twice before making their decision to purchase. Within the western world, pertinent issues like human rights, environmental concern, sustainability, intellectual property rights and others are recognized as the major concern for the consumers before making purchase decision. In other parts of the world especially in developing countries, Muslim community is a steadily growing consumer group that should not be rightfully ignored. Studies in the areas of Muslim consumer ethics and purchasing behaviour have still remained relatively unexplored, thus, calling for this research to lessen the gap. The objective of this study is to conceptualize, develop and validate a Muslim consumer ethical model. The expected result of the study is the development of the Muslim consumer ethical model that can be used to identify the determinants of this behaviour. The results will provide deep insights on the right strategies that could be devised by companies based on the model.

Abstract

Transportation companies in Indonesia are businesses prioritizing services to the community. Job satisfaction of the employees is the major driving factor in improving the services. This study analyzes the influences of role conflict and role ambiguity on employee job satisfaction of transportation companies in Indonesia with the total samples of 154 people. The data is analyzed using path analysis. The result of this study has obtained coefficient of determination (CD) or R square (R2), in which the overall R square (R2) value for the role conflict and role ambiguity is 62.8%. Role conflict and role ambiguity have significant negative impact, both simultaneously and partially on employee job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to improve the employee job satisfaction, transportion companies in Indonesia need to decrease the rate of role conflict and role ambiguity. The transportation companies in Indonesia are suggested to build a good communication environment, maximize the evaluation system of work and improve office facilities in order to spur employee morale and increase employee loyalty to the companies.
