Abstract

This study aims to determine the Analysis of Capital Expenditure, Local Own Revenue and Balancing Funds on Economic Growth in Regencies/Cities in Jambi Province. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The data processed is secondary data from Capital Expenditures, Regional Original Income, Balancing Funds and Regency/City Economic Growth in Jambi Province in 2012 – 2021. The results showed that simultaneously Capital Expenditure, Regional Original Income and Balancing Funds have a significant effect on Economic Growth in Jambi Province, this is proven by a significance value that is smaller than the probability (0.000 < 0.05). Partially, capital expenditure has a significant effect on economic growth in Jambi Province, as evidenced by a significant value that is smaller than the significant probability (0.0112 < 0.05) and partially Own-Owned Income has no significant effect on economic growth in Jambi Province, as proven by the value significance is smaller than the probability of significance (0.2067 > 0.05) while the Balancing Fund has a significant effect on Economic Growth in Jambi Province, as proven by the significance value which is smaller than the probability of significance (0.0000 < 0.05)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge and collateral on customer interest in taking syirkah products at Metro City Sharia Bank. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 96 respondents and regression methods on SPSS Statistics 25. This research is descriptive while the type of research is quantitative research. The sample in this study were 96 customers of Syari'ah Bank in Metro City. The data collection method used is the questionnaire method and the documentation method. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence between knowledge variables on customer interest and the application of guarantees to customer interest in taking Syirkah products at Sharia Banks in Metro City. Efforts are needed to increase socialization and education about Islamic bank products and syirkah contracts to the public through electronic and print media. Because of the increasing knowledge, the tendency of public interest to use Islamic bank products is increasing.

Abstract

The widespread use of e-commerce platforms makes it easy for users to fulfill their needs. One of them is Shopee, the marketing strategy is carried out by holding twin date festivals. This phenomenon can trigger impulsive buying behavior, especially Gen Z. Therefore, this research aims to identify whether there is a correlation between the twin date festival held by Shopee and impulsive buying behavior, especially Gen Z in Ngabang District. This research method uses quantitative analysis with calculations using the SPSS version 29 program. Data collection techniques involve distributing questionnaires, observation and documentation. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents who were the samples in this study. The research results showed that there was a correlation between the Shopee festival date and impulsive buying behavior among Gen Z in Ngabang District. A significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 was obtained, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.554, which means the degree of relationship between the two variables is in the medium category. The form of relationship between the two variables is positive, where the more often Shopee holds twin date festivals, the higher the impulsive buying behavior among Gen Z in Ngabang District.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Understanding Factors, Awareness Factors, Cost Factors, Regulatory Factors on the decisions of micro and small enterprises (UMK) in carrying out self-declared halal certification in Jambi City. This research was conducted on micro and small enterprises (UMK) in the Food and Beverage category who have registered for self-declared halal certification in Jambi City in 2023. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The technique used in sampling is the purposive sampling technique. The number of samples taken was 100 respondents from a population of 515. Data collection in this research used a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research was carried out using multiple linear regression tests using the SPSS 22 Application Program. The research results showed that partially the Understanding Factor and Regulatory Factors had no influence on business actors' decisions, while the Awareness and Cost Factors had a significant effect on business actors' decisions. Simultaneously, Understanding Factors, Awareness Factors, Cost Factors, Regulatory Factors influence business actors' decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the work framework of the Sharia Supervisor and the reporting of the results of the supervision of the Sharia Supervisory Board at the Insan Madani Amil Zakat Institution and BAZNAZ Jambi City.This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with a field research approach. It was found that the work framwork of the Shari'ah Supervisor both at the Insan Madani Amil Zakat Institution and BAZNAZ Jambi City is to supervise the operational activities of the Amil Zakat Institution to comply with the provisions and principles of sharia. The difference lies in reporting the results of the supervision of the Shari'ah Supervisor where the Insan Madani Amil Zakat Institution reports the results to the Jambi Provincial BAZNAZ and then the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Jambi Province periodically. Unlike the case with BAZNAZ Jambi City which reports the results of its supervision to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, the Mayor, and the Governor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of e-payment, Islamic financial literacy and lifestyle on consumptive behavior among students. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jambi University. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The technique used in sampling is purposive samling technique. The number of samples taken was 97 respondents from a population of 3,642. Data collection in this study was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out using the SmartPLS 3 application program. The results showed that partially e-payment (X1) had no significant effect on consumptive behavior with a statistical T value of 9.240> 1.96 with a significant level (P-value) of 0.000 <0.05. Meanwhile, Islamic financial literacy (X2) has no significant effect on consumptive behavior with a statistical T value of 0.006 < 1.96 with a significant level (P-value) of 0.497 > 0.05 and lifestyle (X3) has a significant effect on consumptive behavior with a statistical T value of 0.091 < 1.96 with a significant level (P-value) of 0.464 > 0.05. Simultaneously e-payment, Islamic financial literacy and lifestylepositively affect consumptive behavior.

Abstract

As the capital city of West Sumatra, Padang only has a few tourist destinations. Domestic tourists choose to go to other cities, such as Bukittinggi, Payakumbuh, and Solok, while international tourists go to Mentawai Island. Marawa Beach Club Padang (MBC), hopefully, could be one of the tourist attractions that is available in Padang. This beach club offers both natural and human-made spots. This research was designed to investigate what are the tourist's motivation to go to a beach club. Further, since the majority of Padang citizen are Muslim, this research will explore their understanding of halal tourism that has been implemented in MBC. This research was conducted as a qualitative approach research which deep observation and structured interviews were done with 25 informants. The informants were the tourists we found in the club whom we classified the middle-class tourists since the beach club offers quite high standards of price. The results show that tourists got motivated to go because of the view the club offers, and the vibes to chill, relax, and enjoy food while the understanding of halal tourism is still very low.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of Indonesia's nickel investment strategy, particularly in relation to the downstream policy implemented in 2020, on domestic economic growth. The research will examine in depth how the nickel downstreaming policy affects various aspects of the domestic economy, such as foreign direct investment (FDI), and how this increased investment can improve domestic economic transformation, nickel export value, as well as job creation. This research is studied using qualitative methods with descriptive research type by using library research techniques in data collection. The theory used in this research is the theory of protectionism which is defined as an effort to protect domestic businesses and government policies to control exports or imports through trade barriers, such as tariffs and quotas, in order to protect domestic industries from foreign competition. In this study, it was found that the nickel downstreaming and investment strategy had a positive impact on increasing investment figures, economic transformation, increasing export values, as well as an increase in job creation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Social Media Marketing and Perceived Quality on Brand Loyalty with Brand Trust as an intervening variable. This study was conducted on Facetology consumers in the TikTok application in five districts in Malang City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed online through google forms to Facetology consumers. The measurement scale in this study is using a Likert scale. The sampling technique used was non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method with a sample size of 110 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 3 software to test the relationship between variables. The results showed that Social Media Marketing has no influence on brand trust. Perceived Quality has a significant effect on Brand Loyalty. Brand Trust is proven to have a positive and significant influence iton brand loyalty. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for business people, especially for marketers who are engaged in the beauty industry and use social media platforms such as TikTok to market their products. By understanding these dynamics, businesses can refine their marketing strategies to enhance brand loyalty among consumers, ultimately leading to stronger customer relationships and increased sales

Abstract

This research aims to map the waqf asset management strategy at al-Khaibar waqf institution in Malang City. After mapping, it is analysed using the community-based management method. The selection of this method is based on the strategy pattern used by the institution by maximising the community, both managers, markets and partners. We know that until 2024 waqf assets are 2,171,041,349.74 M2 and only 23% are managed. Of the 23%, 71% are mosques, schools and cemeteries, waqf assets have not been able to be managed productively. Therefore, this research seeks to offer a solution to waqf asset management strategies in Malang City. This research is qualitative-descriptive. Data sources were obtained from interviews, and documentation to al-Khaibar waqf institution and BWI Malang City. The research findings show that: the steps of waqf asset development strategy management: 1) finding problems and problem identification; 2) Problem analysis is comprehensive ranging from material content, significance and risk; 3) action planning (class action) with three patterns; programme, risk and risk mitigation; 4) implementation of the term, which consists of short, medium and long term; 5) implementation of programmes at all levels; 6) evaluation is informal and formal. Second, the impacts are: 1) availability of business capital along with business facilities; 2) provision of business goods with qard al-hasan bi al-bay' contract; 3) productive work partners, making all MSMEs as business partners either as distributors, marketing, suppliers or volunteers.
