Abstract

Students as agents of change in society are required to take part in the halal certification program. The Socialization of Halal Product Process Assistance (PPH) for students is aimed at preparing halal volunteers and halal supervisors who help small and medium-sized businesses to obtain halal certification. The socialization activity was designed in three stages: introduction of halal certification, the flow of registration for filing halal certification, and simulation of preparing administration for filling halal certificates. All of instructors described clearly and providing problems that should be solved. The aim of this activity is to create halal volunteers or supervisors who can assist UMKM in applying for halal certificates.

Abstract

The construction of a greenhouse as a nursery facility with an ecotourism perspective has been carried out at the Bendosari Orchard, Sumbersari Moyudan, Sleman. The purpose of making this greenhouse is as a means of seeding fruit plants which are a source of income for the Bendosari Orchard, namely guava and avocado and as a tourist attraction to attract more visits to the fruit garden. This research was carried out using the Rural Rapid Appraisal (RRA) approach with 6 stages, namely socialization, interviews, workshops on equalizing perceptions about fruit plant breeding using the grafting method and about greenhouses, surveys of prospective greenhouse construction locations, workshops on planning and building greenhouses and home supervision. glass. With this research, the perception and awareness of garden managers regarding fruit plant nurseries has increased as proven through questionnaires and the success of building a Greenhouse at the Bendosari Orchard. Apart from that, park managers have also realized the need to build greenhouses independently. The greenhouse that was built was made of galvalum, UV plastic and insect-proof glass. This is done to maintain ecological aspects in the greenhouse and in the Bendosari Orchard.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the national economic growth, contributing significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment. However, access to financial resources and markets remains a challenge for MSMEs, especially those operating in the Moyudan Subdistrict. This research aims to analyze the role of Generation Z in addressing these challenges through the digitalization of MSMEs. This study is a qualitative descriptive research that involves observations and the collection of primary and secondary data. The research findings reveal that Generation Z plays an innovative role in the development of MSMEs through digitalization. Through digital transformation, MSMEs can enhance their visibility and efficiency through e-commerce platforms and online promotions. This digital transformation is supported by the high internet penetration and social media usage in Indonesia. The government also plays a role in developing digital skills among Generation Z through various programs. Digitally savvy Generation Z individuals can actively contribute to the growth of MSMEs, as seen in the success of the "KKN Konversi" event in marketing Moyudan's MSME products. As seen in the results of this research, the role of Generation Z can be a hope for the progress of MSMEs in the Mayudan Subdistrict region.

Abstract

Religious moderation has an important role in maintaining stability, tolerance, and harmony between religious communities. One method that can be used to convey the value of religious moderation to society is socialization. The implementation of socialization on religious moderation in Tunggulwulung Village, Malang City uses SiMBA (Sikap Moderasi Beragama) media, namely the FGD (forum group discussion) model. This research aims to evaluate the religious moderation socialization program. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the CIPP model (context, input, process, product). The results and discussion in this research state that the socialization of religious moderation activities using SiMBA media in Tunggulwulung Village, Malang City is going well according to its aim, namely providing deeper knowledge to the local community regarding religious attitudes. moderation. Based on this, SiMBA media can be developed and socialized to the wider community. Meanwhile, this research concludes that the SiMBA socialization media program can be said to be successful based on the context evaluation, input evaluation, process evaluation, and product evaluation carried out during the research.

Abstract

Bendosari Orchard and Edu-Tourism stands as an initiative for enhancement and empowerment of Bendosari, Sumbersari, Moyudan, Sleman communities. Unfortunately, since its inception in 2011 and official inauguration in 2017, up until the year 2022, there has been a noticeable absence of development in terms of attractions and amenities. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, while the planning based on community participation utilizes the Asset Based Community Development approach. This approach advocates for the utilization and empowerment of local assets to create a distinctive experience for visitors. From mapping, planning, implementation/construction, to evaluation together with the community. Beyond physical facilities, there is also a plan for the development of artificial vegetative plant cultivation (grafting, budding, cutting, and topworking). Research outcomes demonstrate that community involvement in the development of the facility resulted in effectiveness at every project phase. These findings provide a concrete example of the importance of community involvement in development projects, which will contribute to the quality and sustainability of project outcomes. The expansion of the tourism area is expected to be sustainable, and one approach is to establish connections with nearby attractions. By doing so, throughout the Bendosari area, tourists will have a variety of options to explore, thereby extending their stay within the Bendosari area, and this distribution will contribute to the local economic growth in the tourism sector.

Abstract

The development of research in higher education for academic improvement and knowledge development as well as for the professionalism of lecturers is a necessity, as is research based on community service. Therefore, a map and orientation for community service-based research is needed at the Research and Publishing Center of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The results of the research show firstly, the research map at the LPPM Research and Publishing Center has experienced a shift in terms of quantity, clusters, research output, and research that has been carried out by lecturers/research researchers if they need credit numbers, now there is awareness and this has changed to become an academic need for lecturers /researcher. Second, the research orientation is that research results are required to be published in the OJS journal and research based on community service at the Research and Publishing Center started in 2018. Third, the research results have been used as a reference for preparing Semester Learning Plans (RPS) for courses, namely 80%, and not used as a reference of 20%.

Abstract

Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is a perennial plant originating from Mexico and Peru. This plant has high value-added when processed into cooking oil, herbal oil, and livestock feed. Global oil production is only able to meet a demand of 0.26%. Indonesia has the opportunity to develop the cultivation of this plant to enhance its added value and global competitiveness. Community empowerment activities aim to improve the welfare of sunflower farmers and raise social awareness among students regarding the surrounding community. Problems in the production sector are: (i) farmers cannot ensure that sunflower seeds that have been dried have a moisture content of 12%, (ii) the drying process in some places still relies on sunlight, and cannot anticipate if it rains. So, based on the analysis carried out, we carried out empowerment activities in the form of installing production installing production equipment in the sunflower seed drying process for farmer groups in the village of Cihanjuang Barat. Socialization and guidance on the use of equipment was carried out to farmers regarding production equipment that can help the production process. After the installation has been successfully carried out, the sunflower seeds reach a moisture content of 12% according to the wishes of the farmers and it is hoped that they can replace conventional sunflower seed drying processes such as which was done previously.

Abstract

Assistance for halal certification for Micro Small Businesses of Wonolelo Bantul leather rambak crackers has been carried out in order to support the acceleration of halal product guarantees as mandated by Law No. 33 of 2014. Micro and small business actors (MSEs) are the largest producers of food and beverage products that are subject to mandatory halal because of the increasing number of MSE commodities. The assistance method is carried out by providing socialization and education carried out in groups and individually, followed by discussion and interpretation of the identification results during the assistance process. The results of the assistance obtained that10 business actors in Cegokan, Wonolelo Bantul who were assisted to obtain halal certificates generally met the criteria for halal product processes in accordance with the provisions of the SJPH (Halal Product Guarantee System). Business actors have understood and followed the provisions in applying for halal certification. However, rambak  cracker products still have difficulty getting raw materials from halal-certified slaughterhouses. The supply of raw materials is temporarily obtained from collectors, making it relatively difficult to follow the principle of tracebelity.
