Abstract

This research provides an in-depth understanding of how the image of a university is formed among new students at Syekh Yusuf Islamic University. Using a qualitative approach and interview techniques, the study allows for insights into the perspectives and direct experiences of new students. The findings indicate that the positive image of Syekh Yusuf Islamic University among new students is reflected in aspects such as quality teaching staff, relatively affordable tuition fees, strategic location, and the success of alumni in the workforce. This suggests that these aspects play a significant role in shaping the positive image of a university. Furthermore, the research also illustrates how the social construction of a positive image of Syekh Yusuf Islamic University is formed. These processes allow new students to form their views of the university based on their interactions with social media, family, community, and school. This indicates that the image of a university is not only influenced by direct experiences on campus but also by the influence of a broader social environment. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to understanding how the image of a university is formed and influenced by social factors, as well as its implications for the perceptions and choices of new students in selecting their university.

Abstract

Marketing communication has a central role in establishing relationships between companies and customers, helping in building good brand awareness and maintaining market share. It also helps to improve the company's brand image and values. What's more, understanding the concept of crisis and the importance of communicating in unexpected situations is essential. This can have a major impact on the company's image and performance. Crisis situations, if managed properly, can have a significant positive impact on the company. In this study, the method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This research aims to describe the actual phenomenon that is happening when the research is carried out and provide a logical interpretation of the phenomenon. This method involves gathering information through interviews and studying documentation, after which analyzing the data using descriptive techniques.

Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic has caused considerable disruptions in a number of spheres of life, including the corporate world. Social restrictions and lockdowns imposed in various countries have paralyzed economic activity, disrupted supply chains, and triggered a business crisis on a global scale. The COVID-19 control policy, which interfered with MSME operations, was the cause of this. As a result, many MSMEs have decreased income, even no income. MSMEs must overcome these conditions in order to survive. The purpose of this study is to use qualitative approaches to ascertain the Wedang Bubuk coffee shop's survival strategy amid the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

Abstract

In the current digital era, dependence on internet network services is increasing, especially in the context of satellite internet network services such as Spacenet. However, vulnerability to internet network service disruptions is a serious challenge faced by startup companies operating in the online buying and selling ecosystem. In this study, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the crisis that emerged due to disruption of internet network services on Spacenet and its impact on startup operations in the online buying and selling sector. We explore the causes of the crisis, the strategies implemented by startup companies to overcome these problems, and the impact on their performance and business continuity. Through a qualitative approach involving interviews with key stakeholders and secondary data analysis, we present a deeper understanding of how the crisis in internet network service disruptions can affect startups in the online buying and selling ecosystem. The results of this study provide valuable insights for industry stakeholders and can serve as a basis for the development of future risk mitigation strategies.

Abstract

The success or failure of organizational goals depends on the leader. Therefore, leadership that is able to move and manage the company well is needed. In short, a leader is the driving force of the life of the company or organization he manages.The type of leadership used by PT Acryl Textile Mills is democratic, as shown by the director who is happy to accept criticism, suggestions, and opinions of others. At PT Acryl Textile Mills, the leader's policy shows that the leader feels that subordinates are very important in helping his duties. This is shown by holding meetings with subordinates and accepting criticism, suggestions, and opinions.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have had an impact on the management of university libraries, particularly in the processing of library materials and bibliographic control. The accuracy of bibliographic information is a key factor in facilitating information retrieval for library users. This study aims to identify strategies for bibliographic control to improve the accuracy and availability of information through the use of the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) application. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method using a survey technique, distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents consisting of librarians, technical staff, and faculty reading room managers at Surabaya State University. Data were collected using Google Forms and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results indicate that challenges in bibliographic management still exist, such as the failure to fully utilize SLiMS features, limited technical skills among librarians in developing application usage, and a lack of coordination among library units. Forty percent of respondents reported frequently encountering errors in bibliographic information, while 50% considered bibliographic oversight crucial for maintaining information accuracy. Strategies that can be implemented include regularly updating bibliographic data, verifying sources through cross-referencing, enhancing librarians’ competencies through training, strengthening collaboration among librarians, and optimizing SLiMS features in the cataloging and processing of library materials. Maximizing the implementation of SLiMS can improve librarians’ work efficiency, speed up the information retrieval process, and support the availability of accurate collections for the academic community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and price on repurchase interest in Sari Roti. The sample used in this study were consumers who had bought bread cider at least twice or more, totaling 96 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study to determine all variable influences was validity test, reliability test, t test, F test, multiple regression linear with SPSS tools. The results of this study are the variable Brand image (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the interest in repurchasing bread cider with a significant value of 0.018 <0.05 and the variable Price (X2) has no significant effect on the interest in repurchasing bread cider with a significant value of 0.101> 0.05.

Abstract

Global Citizenship Education in Elementary Schools is a science that shapes students into competent global citizens, by developing dimensions of global competence such as knowledge, skills and character. The implementation of citizenship education in elementary schools needs to instill Global Citizenship education based on multiculturalism in order to be able to maintain the existence of PKN in the global land and help optimize the process of sustainable development in the humanitarian field. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of global citizenship education based on multiculturalism in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method from various sources such as scientific journals, articles and other sources relevant to the research topic. The researcher conducted a reflection and finalization analysis of the Global Civics model based on Multiculturalism as a Sustainable Development Practice in the Humanitarian Field. The data obtained were narrated and described to obtain comprehensive results. The data shows that there are five stages consisting of relevance, core realization, reflection and massive socialization. This stage is carried out as an application of the global Citizenship Education model in elementary schools as a sustainable development practice in the humanitarian field.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the need for electronic student worksheets that raise the topic of international trade with a PBL model and are oriented towards creative thinking. This research used a descriptive method by collecting data through interviews, observation, and distributing questionnaires to 30 class XI Social Sciences students at Muhammadiyah Mlati High School. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman approach which includes data reduction, data analysis, and conclusion verification. The research results show that: (1) international trade material has the lowest average value and needs improvement; (2) students' creative thinking abilities are still low; (3) the learning applied is still conventional using the lecture method; and (4) students prefer to use electronic student worksheets as open materials. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that students need electronic student worksheets with the topic of international trade with a PBL model and are oriented towards creative thinking skills

Abstract

The K-Means method is one of the Data Mining methods that is widely used in clustering research. Based on the results of research that has been conducted to build a process model for Poverty Data Clustering Analysis Using the K-Means Method Approach in Teluk Agung Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency, can use RapidMiner tools by creating operators and processing parameters used for clustering the P3KE class category. The operators used in this study are Read Excel, Set Role, Select Attributes, Replace Missing Values, Nominal to Numerical, Multiply, Clustering (K-Means) and Performance operators. The operators used are 8 operators by applying the stages of Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). This research will apply the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) as a way of optimising the number of clusters to group data, from the best cluster value experiment, the closest to 0 is K9 with a DBI value of -2.257, from this we can conclude that approximately 43 items from clusters 2 - 10 are included in the P3KE category, and other than the 43 items can be interpreted as still not included in the P3KE category.
