Abstract

This study aimed to determine the motivation pattern of the riders of mountain bikes, road bikes, and folding bikes in the new-normal era. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The participants of this study were 258 cyclists in Bandung. The data was collected through a Sport Motivation Scale-6 questionnaire. This study indicates that there is no significant difference between the motivation of mountain bike, road bike, and folding bike riders. However, there is a substantial difference in income indicators in sociodemography, especially for road bike riders, while mountain bike and folding bike riders do not have any significant differences. This study shows that the motivation patterns of cyclists impact the cycling activities undertaken.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the somatotype of the Tarung Derajat martial arts athlete in the Fighter category on achievement. Quantitative descriptive research using survey method. Anthropometric manual tests and measurements to determine the athlete's body type. The research sample consisted of 8 male athletes and 7 female Tarung Derajat Fighters in the West Kalimantan category, held at the Satlat Mujahiddin, Pontianak City. The data obtained in the field is the results of the somatotype measurement test and the achievement of Tarung Derajat athletes, then analyzed using descriptive percentages to analyze. The study results were 46% with endomorph mesomorph body type, 40% central, 7% endomorph, and 7% ectomorph mesomorph with local, national, and international achievements. The conclusion is that there is no influence between the somatotypes of the Tarung Derajat martial arts athletes in the Fighter category on achievement.

Abstract

Psychological aspects, such as self-perception and parental involvement, are essential for child development and school-age basketball athlete achievements. This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-perception and parental involvement of the students and their enjoyment of playing basketball. The method used in this study was the quantitative method using a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted in 2021. The population involved school-age basketball athletes aged 12 to 14 years from 6 Basketball Clubs in Bandung and the parents of the athletes involved in the training process. The Physical Self Perception Profile for Children (PSPP-C), Parental Involvement in Sport Questionnaire (PISQ), and Source of Enjoyment in Youth Sport Questionnaire (SEYSQ-H) were the three questionnaires used in this study. Bivariate analysis of this study used the chi-square test. The chi-square test showed that the self-perception variable and parental involvement variable each had indicated a significant relationship with playing enjoyment. The results showed that f = 45 (37.5%) had a poor playing enjoyment and f = 75 45 (62.5%) had a reasonable playing enjoyment. Athletes who lack self-perception and parental involvement have a higher risk of experiencing less delight in playing basketball than athletes who have good self-perceptions and parental involvement.

Abstract

With the lack of public knowledge in physical activities, some people worry and excessively do not have self-confidence; everyone has different attitudes, behaviors, personalities, and needs. The purpose of this study is to determine the culture and psychosocial behavior of Semarang City's citizens in carrying out physical activities at the fitness center. This study was done using the qualitative method. The purposive sampling techniques were used to determine the respondent and the data sources obtained from 29 respondents. The data was collected using observation, documentation, and interview techniques. Source triangulation, method triangulation, and peer discussion were used to check the validity of the data. Meanwhile, the data analysis procedure was done through the stages of various data sources, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study is that the culture of doing physical activity in the fitness center of West Semarang District has moral, attitude, and physical aspects. For psychosocial, there are psychological and social aspects. From Ericson's eight stages of development, there are three groups of age stages, namely stage V Adolescent (12-20 years), stage VI Early Adult (20-40), and stage VII Middle Adult (40-65).

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out how are the conservation efforts, the human resources, the facilities and infrastructure, the process of obtaining the funding and the role of the government/stakeholders in preserving and improving the performance of the traditional sport named Sumpitan. This research is a descriptive qualitative with ethnographic design which using critical ethnography type. The data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research include administrators, coaches, athletes and supporting staff, Department of Youth, Sport and Tourism, Department of Education, Indonesian Sport and Recreation Committee (KORMI), Indonesian Traditional Games and Sport Committee (KPOTI) of Samarinda City. The validity of the data was done by implementing some steps including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and draw conclusion. There are several results of the research. Firstly, the Government of the Samarinda City rarely holds Sumpitan traditional sport events, coaching and improvement which have not been included in the local content curriculum of elementary, junior and senior high schools. Next, lack of attention dealing with funding and infrastructure support thus the operational costs use donations from community members. The minimum number of administrators, coaches, and regeneration of new athletes. The last is the lack of public awareness of the improvement and preservation in the implementation of cultural activities or traditional sports Sumpitan. the conclusions of this study are involvement that are not yet optimal, Lack of human resources, there is a change in culture, socio-cultural shift.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on online learning motivation, specifically for sports massage courses. The research design used in this study was Posttest Only Control Group Design. The samples were all students of the sixth semester of the Physical Education and Health Study Program, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia, totaling 71 people. Research results in supporting an exciting learning process during a pandemic are highly demanded (1) lecturer skills in learning and developing knowledge that makes learning enjoyable, (2) student motivation in participating in learning is the key to success in the massage learning process, (3) supporting facilities online learning is the following key in the learning process during. The conclusion of this research is in carrying out learning practices and using engaging learning media that can provoke students' enthusiasm in the implementation of learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects or benefits of increasing agility in the traditional sport of Gobak Sodor with the Essential Agility Drills method on STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan students. This study used a True Experiment Design with the division of the experimental group being given treatment and the control group not being given any treatment. This study used a sample involving 60 students (30 experiments, 30 controls). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The test instrument used to measure agility was the zig-zag run test as a pretest and posttest for the two groups to know the differences in their agility. The t-test analysis showed a Sig value of 0.00 <0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference in the two groups, but the experimental group was superior to the control group with a percentage increase of 9.76%, while the control group had a smaller percentage than the experimental group, namely 1 0.02% means 9.76%> 1.02%, which means that the experimental group has a higher rate of increase compared to the control group, meaning that the Essential Agility Drill training method is very influential on agility in the traditional sport of Gobak Sodor.

Abstract

The development of gadgets, especially smartphones, is rapid, and most young people are very interested in them. Young people at this time are very familiar with smartphones. An educator sees the potential in smartphones to be used as an effective, efficient and attractive medium for the transfer of knowledge if adequately developed. This research and development aim to develop learning resources for test subjects and sports measurement, test materials and physical fitness measurements. This research begins with a needs analysis with a survey method and then develops learning resources with the characteristics according to the needs analysis results. The development of this learning resource produces a product in the form of a test application and measurement of physical fitness, which is packaged in * apk, which can be installed on an Android-based mobile phone. The research method used is a research and development method with development steps designed by Borg and Gall. The researcher modified the process according to the research needs. The subjects of this study were 35 students of sports coaching education who were taking tests and physical fitness measurements. A needs analysis was carried out using a survey method using a questionnaire. Product feasibility testing was carried out using content validation by experts by providing an assessment through a questionnaire, while product testing to see the product's effectiveness used a simple experimental method in the two groups and compared the acquisition of the final test results in the two groups. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative analysis. Based on the needs analysis data, it was found that 100% of students needed the development of this learning resource. Meanwhile, according to the results of the evaluation of the test and sports measurement, experts obtained an average score of 3.58 which means very good with a percentage of 89.44%; according to the learning technology, experts got an average score of 3.56 which means very good with a rate of 89.34%, learning experts obtained an average score of 3.67 which means very good with a percentage of 91.67%. The results of the small group trial got an average score of 3.26 which means good with a rate of 80.09%, while the results of the large group trial obtained an average score of 3.57 which means very good with a percentage of 87.96%. Thus, physical fitness mobile learning products are appropriate for use as learning resources and have proven effective in increasing students' understanding of concepts. This research and development product can still be better developed mainly in the quality of the test results analysis work system, navigation of each layer, animation, and the engraving design.

Abstract

Leading the match is not easy. Nowadays, there are many obstacles when leading the competition, starting from the regional to the international level. There are errors that sometimes we can't immediately conclude what the cause is. One of the causes of mistakes in leading the match is anxiety, whereby having a solid level of anxiety. There can be fear in deciding something, especially the large number of spectators, coaches, Referees who always watch the match and other officials, and internal factors that are said to be from within or extrinsic. This study aims to see the anxiety of tennis referees on duty at the Asean Schools Games in the field tennis branch. This research is a quantitative descriptive study conducted at the Tri Competition Juang Tennis Court in Semarang in September 2019. The data was collected using the anxiety questionnaire method. Population The total number of referees on duty in the Asean Schools Games in the Tennis Court is 16 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The data that has been collected from the results of the research test get the following results: (1) the level of anxiety of the tennis referee when leading the Asian school games is in the moderate category, (2) the intrinsic factors that affect anxiety are in the "moderate" category, and (3 ) extrinsic factors that also influence the anxiety that arises in a referee are in the "moderate" category. The conclusion from the data results is that the average level of anxiety from the two factors, namely the intrinsic factor and the extrinsic factor, is in the "moderate" category. It can be concluded that tennis referees continue to improve cognitive control, especially anxiety. So that anxiety will be more controlled and can lead the match well

Abstract

In 2016 PP PBSI published a book of criteria and physical parameters for athletes entering national training and version 1 for athletes. There is an agility test called the agility court. However, this agility court test does not yet have the validity and reliability values ​​needed for a trial, so it still needs to be tested for validity and reliability. This study aims to reveal the truth and reliability of the badminton game agility court test in athletes aged from children to Adolescents. This research uses a descriptive method. The population used in this study were all badminton athletes in the Tasikmalaya region, and as many as 103 people were sampled in this study by purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is to test the level of validity and reliability of the test using Product Moment correlation through IBM SPSS 26. The study results for athletes from the City of Tasikmalaya have a validity degree of 0.772, including the High variety and a reliability degree of 0.921, including the High variety. Athletes in Tasikmalaya Regency have a validity degree of 0.767, including the High variety and a reliability degree of 0.939, including the High variety. The conclusion is that the badminton agility court test is valid and reliable, and this test can be used to measure the agility of athletes from children to Adolescents.
