Dona Alicia. Meningkatkan kosa kata siswa dengan menggunakan semantic feature Analysis Strategy pada siswa TK Pertiwi 3 Siteba, Padang. Konsentrasi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa, STKIP PGRI Sumbar.Bahasa Inggris telah menjadi peran sangat penting saat ini. Kenyataan ini tidak bisa di pungkiri jika kita melihat kenyataan bahwa bahasa inggris di anjur kan dari sekolah dasar sampai Perguruan Tinggi.Sebagaimana telah kita ketahui bahwa setiap bahasa terdiri dari komponen keahlian di antaranya : mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Dengan kosa kata yang mencukupi, siswa akan dapat menguasai ke empat ke ahlian tersebut. Siswa diharapkan dapat menggunakan kosa kata tersebut dalam komunikasi sehari – hari, walaupun dengan bahasa yang sangat sederhana.Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mencoba memberikan salah satu cara alternative dalam pengajaran kosa kata secara cepat dan tepat pada siswa TK Pertiwi yaitu Semantic Feature Analysis Strategy. Ini adalah sebuah Strategy yang praktis dan tepat untuk memperkenalkan kosa kata baru sebagai komponen dasar dalam penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Inggris dapat berjalan lebih effektif dan siswa dapat lebih termotivasi untuk belajar kosa kata baru. Semua penjelasan tentang teknik ini dan unggulan pengajaran semantic feature analysis akan dituangkan dalam tulisan ini. Penelitiannya adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas, setelah di ujikan kepada siswa taman kanak – kanak jadi hasilnya menunjukan pronunciation 55%, Spelling 80%, pada Grammar 75%, meaning 89%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa taman kanak- kanak Pertiwi 3 telah mengalami perubahan yang baik dalam mempelajari kosa kata dengan menggunakan Semantic feature analisis.

Mathematics is one of the lessons learned in school to develop the ability to count, measure, and solve problems in everyday life. Math grows due process of thinking, therefore, the logic is the basis for the formation of mathematics. Logic is the infancy of mathematics, mathematics is the opposite of logic adulthood. Given the importance of mathematics in life, we need a learning that is able to develop students' mathematical abilities. through the practice of acting on the premise logical, rational, critical, careful, honest, effective and efficient. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan adanya pengaruh metode diskusi media Mind Mapping dan kemampuan awal terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, terpilih siswa kelas X4 (kelas kontrol) dan kelas X7 (kelas eksperimen). Teknik pengumpulan data kemampuan awal dilakukan dengan memberikan tes pada awal pembelajaran sedangkan data hasil belajar peroleh dari hasil tes pada akhir pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif, induktif dan uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis Anova dua arah. Hasil analisis data mengungkapkan (1) siswa yang diajarkan dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi media Mind Mapping secara signifikan memiliki hasil belajar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajarkan melalui metode diskusi konvensional dengan Sig. = 0,025 lebih kecil dari nilai α = 0,05 (Sig. < α), (2) siswa yang kemampuan awalnya tinggi secara signifikan memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal rendah dengan Sig. = 0,000, lebih kecil dari nilai α = 0,05 (Sig. < α).

Abstract: Based on the observations of the researcher in the field showed that the Athlete of Profi Swimming Padang still have low speed in swimming 50 meters, Therefore, this study aimed at observing the effect of repetition method and interval intensive method toward 50 meters speed achievement. Type of the research was quasi-experimental (Quasy experiment). this research was began in may and Juni. The population athlete in Profi Swimming Padang in the age group III and IV age group as many as 19 people, while the sample of this research were KU III and KU IV of totally 16 people by purposive sampling technique. The instrument which used in this research was a test of speed in 50 meter sprint achievement. The data was analysed by using t-test uji-t (dependent sample and dependent sample). The results of data analysis show that: (1) There are influences repetition method which significantly to the speed of 50 meters freestyle swimming in athletes Profi Padang be obtained the value of t count = 12,22> t table = 1,90, (2) There are influences interval intensive method which significantly to the speed of 50 meters freestyle swimming in athletes Profi Padang be obtained the value of t count = 10,09> t table = 1,90, (3) Repetition method is more better than series of interval intensive method to the speed of 50 meters freestyle swimming in athletes Profi Padang be obtained the value of t count = 0,30 < t table = 1,76. This study aims to improve the skills of writing news on the student of Language and Literature Education Indonesia using strategy cooperatif type group investigation.This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative descriptive method. This research model refers to a model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Subjects were students of Indonesian education enrolled in the academic year 2017/2018. Data collected by the test and non-test techniques. The instrument used, namely in the form of news writing test, interview and observation sheet. The results showed that an increase in news writing skills using strategy cooperatif type group investigation.This is evidenced from the average value of students in each cycle. The average value of 62.12 students in prasiklus then increased in the first cycle to 66.24 and the second cycle the average value of students increased to 87.00.

This research aimed at finding the effects of teaching media and emotional intelligence on students’ speaking skill. The research is an experimental research involving 40 students in STIKes YPAK Padang. The data were collected by giving the students a speaking performance test and a questionnaire of emotional intelligence. The data was analyzed by using two ways analysis of variance (ANOVA 2x2). Before doing the analysis, the data normality was tested by using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to see if the population where the sample was taken had normal distribution. The result of the research concluded: (1) Teaching media gives a significant effect on the students’ speaking skill. Test result obtained that p-value for category teaching media is 0,008 < 0,05 and F observe 7,931. (2) Emotional intelligence gives a significant effect on the students’ speaking skill in STIKes YPAK Padang. The result obtained that p-value for emotional intelligence is 0,000 < 0,05 and F observe 40,458. (3) Teaching media and emotional intelligence give significant interaction effects of students’ speaking skill. Test result retrieved that p-value for category of teaching media and emotional intelligence is 0,010 < 0,05 and F observe 7,393.

This research used to use socialistfeminism approach with descriptive qualitative method wich described the social phenomena in a short story Pasien by Djenar Mahesa Ayu. These phenomena are break down the patriarchal understanding of woman as mere objekct in interaction witch the male. The finding show that atad feminism woman has the right to declare his existence in accordance with individualism and women should bi able to find subjectivity it self.

This article aimed to obtain information, analyze and discuss data on the Relationship Between Students' perceptions of teacher assessment and Motivation to Learn Geography SMAN 5 Results Padang. The research method used was a survey method, type of correlational research study population was all class XI IPS is comprised of local, amounting to 4 162 people. The samples were taken with a proportional random sampling technique, where for each class taken at random with a proportion of 50% so that the sample was 81 students. The results: (1) Students' perceptions of teacher assessment is mostly good (45.68%). Results of hypothesis testing there is a positive relationship between students' perceptions of teacher assessment to student learning outcomes geography class XI IPS SMA N 5 Padang, including low power and small contributions made including, (2) motivation most students of class XI IPS SMAN 5 Padang generally poor (39.5%). Results of this study indicate there is a relationship between motivation and learning outcomes geography class XI IPS SMA N 5 Padang, the power relationship between motivation and learning outcomes geography including moderate and included a small contribution and (3) there is a positive relationship between students' perceptions of teacher assessment and motivation to the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS SMA N 5 Padang, by the strength of the relationship between the two variables on the variable Y includes medium and small contributions made including. Motivation is the most dominant variables on learning outcomes as compared to the variable geography student perceptions of teacher assessment.

This research was quasi experimental research with factorial 2x2 design. Population of the research was grade X students with the total population was 224. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling, class MIA 2 as experimental group and class MIA 3 as the control group. To collect the data, the researcher used reading comprehension test while questionnaire was used to collect the data about students’ reading motivation. Then, the collected data were analyzed by Chi-Square for normality data testing, variance test for homogeneity data testing, t-test formula and ANOVA for hypothesis testing. The analysis of the research reveals that: (1) students who are taught by SCORE strategy get better reading comprehension on narrative text than the students who are taught by Guided Reading strategy, (2) the students with high reading motivation who are taught by SCORE strategy do not get better reading comprehension on narrative text than who are taught by using Guided Reading strategy, (3) the students with low reading motivation who are taught by SCORE strategy get better reading comprehension on narrative text than who are taught by using Guided Reading strategy, (4) there is no interaction between both strategies and students’ reading motivation toward their reading comprehension on narrative text. In conclusion, SCORE strategy is an effective way on students’ reading comprehension compared with Guided Reading. It is suggested for the students that have high and low reading motivation to improve their skill in language learning through SCORE strategy.

pola asuh merupakan pola interaksi orang tua dengan anak dalam pendidikan karakter anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola asuh anak yang menikah usia dini dengan ibu yang menikah usia dewasa diwilayah kerja puskesmas tapung hilir 2 kabupaten Kampar. Metode penelitian jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analitik komparatif. Pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah ibu yang menikah usia dini 73 renponden dan ibu yang menikah usia dewasa 73 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel proportional stratifit random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan keusioner. Analisa data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan Paired Sampel T Test. Hasil penelitian 73 responden ibu menikah usia dini 72,60 % menerapkan pola asuh anak permisif. 73 responden ibu menikah usia dewasa 54,8 % menerapkan pola asuh anak demokrasi. Uji statistik Paired Sampel T Test didapatkan p value 0,001< 0,05, maka ada perbedaan pola asuh anak antara ibu yang menikah usia dini dengan ibu yang menikah usia dewasa diwilayah kerja puskesmas tapung hilir 2 kabupaten Kampar. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberi informasi kepada ibu dalam memberikan pola asuh anak sehingga kepribadian anak terbentuk.
