Abstract

Based on the results of the observation implemented in IV class of SDN Nglawak 1, Prambon district, Nganjuk regency, in learning process the teacher did not use learning media but only used lecturing and question and answer method, so learning is still monotonous. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of interactive multimedia. The method used in this study is ADDIE model, the data analysis technique used in the form of quantitative and qualitative with research subjects is 6 fourth grade students at SDN Nglawak 1. The results of research are as follows: 1) interactive multimedia is called to be valid by obtaining the percentage of media experts is 80%, while the percentage of material experts is 85%; 2) interactive multimedia was declared to be effective by obtaining a completeness percentage of 84%; 3) interactive multimedia is said to be practical by obataining a percentage of teacher questionnaires is 88% and student questionnaires is 92%. Out of these results, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia on mathematics material can be used in the teaching learning process of fourth grade elementary students, the use of interactive multimedia can make it easier for students to understand the material properties of regular polygons and irregular polygons.

Abstract

The low level of interpersonal communication among students can cause adjustment difficulties. Communication is an essential component of daily activities. Communication will continue to be established with the people around you. One of the actions in improving interpersonal communication can be facilitating the learning process through fun guidance services. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of group guidance on word game techniques in improving students' interpersonal communication. This research is pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test research design. The research method chosen is a quantitative research method with the help of an interpersonal communication measurement scale. The subjects used were students of class VII-A of SMP Negeri 5 Surabaya. Data analysis using SPSS Version 25 with non-parametric statistics Wilcoxon test. The study's results revealed that the indicators studied experienced a significant increase. This increase is seen from the difference in students' level of interpersonal communication. This shows that group guidance effectively improves students' interpersonal communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to be able to understand and analyze the role of school principals in the entrepreneurship-based school curriculum including in curriculum planning, implementation of learning and monitoring evaluation as well as designing follow-up actions as a continuation of the planned program. This research is based on the existence of entrepreneurship learning which has its difficulties for teachers and principals. The design of this study uses quantitative descriptive and data collection is in the form of observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis used a qualitative descriptive which begins with the data collection stage and ends with drawing conclusion through in-depth study and description based on the research objectives. The results of the study describe how important the responsibility and role of principal is in guiding all existing staff when implementing a program, not only when assisting in curriculum development but also implementation to produce follow-up as a provision given to students with more dominant skills that will be a benchmark for learning success.

Abstract

Early childhood is children aged 0-6 years, where it is often called as the golden age. The development and growth of children will be very rapid in this age. This development occurs in the physical and psychological development of children. At the PAUD level, they will be given a stimulus of education based on their age. This educational stimulus is very useful to help developing their physical and spiritual growth and development. One of the stimuli that will be given is the language aspect. In the language aspect, they will be given a stimulus to develop the ability to communicate with other people or the interlocutor properly and correctly. Stimulating good communication skills is very important for them. In language aspect, not only the ability to communicate but the ability to read is also very important for them. This reading activity will be given to improvethe power of thinking and add insight into new knowledge in children. The low number of reading skills in group b children aged 5-6 years in TK Pertiwi 2 Kaloran is one of the problems that arise in teaching and learning activities. The low reading ability is caused by several factors. Starting from the use of learning media used is still too monotonous, less attractive to children. This is very interesting for researchers to make observation to help improving reading skills in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses the media of the alphabet book. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method developed by Kemmis and Taggart, with the research stages of Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely, Cycle I and Cycle II with the research subjects are group b children aged 5-6 years consisting of 12 children, 5 boys and 7 girls in TK Pertiwi 2 Kaloran. From the data generated in Cycle I with the criteria of completeness of 16.7%. Furthermore, in Cycle II, the criteria for completeness were 91.7%. So it can be concluded that learning with media of the alphabet book can help to develop reading skills in children aged 5-6 years in TK Pertiwi 2 Kaloran.

Abstract

The government made a policy in education sector that is limited face-to-face learning (TMT) in line with declreasing in cases of COVID-19, which previously carried out online learning. The purpose of this study is to know whether limited face-to-face learning can improve students achievement in mathematics and is more effective than online learning in tenth grade students of OTKP department at vocational high school 2 PGRI Kediri. The study used quantitative research with pre-experimental design in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. The techniques that researchers use for sampling techniques is simple random sampling. The determination of samples regardless of population strata is 35 students. Data collection techniques through pretest and posttest implemented before and after face-to-face learning in the form of learning outcomes ability test on inverse mathematics and function composition. Data analysis used SPSS 20 for windows. Hypothesis test through paired-samples T-test, which compares the average of two variables in a single sample group. The result of this study showed that average students’ achievement got improved amount of 14,857 and the significant value was 0,000 or (p<0,05). Thus, it can be concluded that average of students achievement in mathematics subject after joining the limited face-to-face learning is increase.

Abstract

This development analysis aims to supply a product within the variety of social science education modules supported by brain-based learning in civics learning for grade IV in elementary faculties on rights and obligations of society material. Respondents in this study concerned three specialists, particularly material experts, media experts, and linguist experts, further as eleven students in grade IV from SDN Rawamangun 05. the tactic employed in this study was research and development (R&D) with the chosen model, namely ADDIE. There are five steps in ADDIE. The info was collected through interviews, observation, and formative evaluation. The data analysis results showed an average share from a knowledgeable review of 90%. The results of information analysis on a matched take a look at involving three students, and the results obtained 92% and interviews. The results of an exceedingly small cluster test involving eight students were 84%. Thus, the social science Education module supported brain-based learning in social science learning for grade IV in elementary faculties on social rights and obligations material obtained superb criteria and was appropriate for use.

Abstract

Abstract Out of the observation, it was found that teachers tend to use books as a guide in delivering material. When delivering material, the teacher did not do practicum. As a result, students are less interested in the material being taught because they do not understand the function of plant parts. This study aims to determine the method of how to make media, validity, practicaly, and effectiveness of the media. This study used research and development methods or R & D with ADDIE model. The results of the research on media development and students abilities are as follows: 1) At the media validation stage, Puzfoam Media (Puzzle Styrofoam) gets a cumulative score of 88.8 very valid information. 2) At the material validation stage, the material questionnaire for plant structure and its functions and the question questionnaire obtained score of 87.5 and 83. The information was very valid so it did not require revision, but there were notes. 3) Based on the data on the results of the media effectiveness test through evaluation questions, the cumulative results of all subjects got 91 results, which means the media effectiveness test is complete. 4) Based on the data from the practicality test of the media through the teacher's practicality questionnaire, the cumulative results of all scores get 90, which means the practicality test of this media is complete and very practical. 5) Based on the results of the students’ response questionnaire, a score of 89 (very valid) was obtained which was a very satisfying result.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of human resources department in conducting HR planning, recruitment, and selection to meet the needs of the best employee. This study is literature review from related manpower planning, recruitment, and selection. The literatures were collected from 50 journal articles from 2000 to 2020. The results showed that the human resources department has a role in HR planning, recruit, and select the human resources needed. The results explain that the human resources department has a role in formulating and determining the HR planning, source of candidate, selection methods, and stages of selection. HR department has a role in the process of determining selection strategies based on company planning. The role of the HR department is very important in the process of acquiring superior HR with a mechanism or system to selection the best employee.

Abstract

The Cases of bullying that occur in Indonesia have increased every year. Data from the KPAI (Indonesian Child Protection Commission) East Java is included in the list of provinces that increase bullying cases yearly. This research aims to test the effectiveness of role-playing techniques in group guidance on bullying behavior in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Surabaya. Bullying is a problem that must be overcome immediately in order not to cause victims from various circles. Bullying has a significant impact on a person's psyche. This research method uses quantitative research methods with the type of pre-experimental research. This research method uses quantitative research methods. The research design in this study used a one-group pre-test and post-test design given to class VIII students with high bullying behavior scale scores. This study uses non-parametric data analysis techniques with the Wilcoxon test. The results of the comparison of the scores on the bullying behavior scale before being given treatment and after being given treatment showed a significant effect, and that result, there was an effect of role-playing techniques in group guidance services on the bullying behavior of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Surabaya.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the role of Anti Food Waste Movement in strengthening the MSME economy with Indonesia's surplus as a case study. Descriptive qualitative method were utilized in this research with secondary data. Participants of this study are Non-Profit Organization activists who also contribute to campaigns to stop environmental damage. The result of this study demonstrated that Surplus Indonesia's presence is able to strengthen the MSME economy by cooperating in the form of partner and acting as a marketer for products that are not currently in stock. Additionally, it offers a compromise that benefits both consumers and producers. Surplus Indonesia, a supplier, distributes unsold inventory and makes a profit by marketing it. From the consumer's perspective, prices will decrease
