Abstract

Today's communication technology creates a paradoxical phenomenon where the workforce experiences workplace telepressure. The workforce always feels pressure from expectations to be connected to work, not to achieve a recovery experience that can help individuals achieve work-life balance. This study examines the mediating role of the recovery experience dimensions in the relationship between workplace telepressure and work-life balance through the Hayes regression method. The results showed no significant mediating role of the recovery experience dimensions in the relationship between workplace telepressure and work-life balance. The theoretical implication of this research is that other factors such as power distance and type of activity can affect the relationship between variables in the study. The practical implication of this research is that the organization must determine the limits on when employees are allowed to work and rest.

Abstract

Covid-19 has brought changes in various aspects of life, including on companies and their employees. Company implements several policies as an effort to adapt with changes. This study aims to examine the role of grit as the moderator in the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction on employees. The approach of this research is by quantitative with cross sectional study design, conducted by distributing online questionnaires using non-probability sampling technique. The measurement tools used, namely The Minesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) short-form, Multidimensional Qualitative Job Insecurity Scale (MQJIS), and short grit scale (Grit-S). The population of this research is employees whose company implemented policy changes due to the Covid-19. Data analysis was carried out by correlation test and moderation test using PROCESS Hayes Model 1, with the amount of data analyzed were 748 participants. The results show significant interaction effect between job insecurity and grit on job satisfaction (b = -0.02, 95% CI [-0.04, -0.01], t=-3.09, p<0.05 ). With that, it can be concluded that grit acts as moderator in the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction. Further analysis found grit can attenuate negative effect of job insecurity on job satisfaction when grit is in the medium and high category.

Abstract

Study About Ngetos Temple in Nganjuk Regency, Research, Historical Education, FKIP UNP Kediri. In Indonesia many historical relics have a very extraordinary value, the temple is the result of the nation's culture that is high in value. The existence of a temple is not yet known to the wider community. Such conditions are caused by the lack of written sources about the history of the temple building. We all certainly realize that the temple building is a potential asset of the nation in various aspects of development. One of the temples that is not yet known to the wider community is Ngetos Temple. The author deliberately raised Ngetos Temple as a research object whose purpose was to study and uncover the existence of Ngetos Temple in Ngetos Village, Ngetos subdistrict, Nganjuk Regency. Ngetos area is indeed suitable for a monumental sacred building that is located in a mountainous area and allows for the development of tourist attractions of the Nganjuk regency. The results of Majapahit culture have also been studied by the Dutch East Indies government under the leadership of Governor-General Thomas Stanford Raffles since 1817. The building of Ngetos temple as a result of Majapahit culture serves as a place of worship of ancestral spirits and worship of the gods.

Abstract

The Covid-19 era, learning was carried out online. In the Tegal city, there are schools whose students have diverse backgrounds. They are Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist. In addition, their ethnicity is also different, some are from Java, Chinese, and Arabic. This should not be an obstacle to learning. Learning without making a fuss about differences, but in reality students still often make differences as a barrier during the learning process. The comfort of students in participating in the learning process is an important thing to strive for. These efforts can be done by applying an interactive learning model. Freedom to learn is a challenge for teachers. Students are given the freedom to develop their talents and interests without pressure. The research objectives include 1) To find out how PHB K Elementary School teachers apply interactive learning models when teaching in order to create independent learning in the classroom. 2) Barriers faced by PHB Elementary School teachers in implementing interactive learning models. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that PHB Elementary School teachers applied an interactive learning model in order to create independent learning in students. The learning model applied is PBL and STAD. In its implementation, there are obstacles, including students who get bored easily when learning online, differences in student characteristics, teachers only get facilities from the foundation, but not from the Ministry of Education and Culture and time constraints.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the difference between experienced workplace incivility based on the status of employe and gender. Quantitative method used in this research. The population in this study were the employee of X University with saturated sampling technique, the total respondents of 52 employees (25 jobhoders and 27 contract employees; 19 man and 33 woman). The instrument used was the experienced workplace incivility scale consisting of 7 items. Data analysis in this research used independent sample t-test. This study found that the hypothesis was rejected (p > 0.05), so there is no difference in experienced workplace incivility based on the status of employee and gender. This research findings extend past research on wokplace incivility especially for educational staff in university.

Abstract

The Asteraceae family is a plant with attractive flower characteristics in terms of colour and size. Most of the flowers of this family are often infested by insects, especially the butterfly race. The tourist area of the Irenggolo waterfall was chosen as the research site because the area is still natural, with cold air temperatures allowing the abundance of the Asteraceae to thrive. This study was conducted to describe the type of inflorescence in each Asteraceae found. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a survey method. Of the six species found, all of them are types of infinite and unbranched compound flowers; tube flowers have many similarities in the number of organs. The striking difference lies in the species Ageratum conyzoides L., which does not have ribbon flowers and has some pappus (petals) of 4. It is necessary to conduct further research regarding the causes of different types of ribbon flower layers in a population.

Abstract

The company's competition not only focuses on the marketing mix but must exist to show the formulation of strategic innovations. Mak Plengeh's dry cake is a superior product of UD Wahyu Jaya Kediri; appropriately apply segmenting, targeting, and positioning (STP) strategies to maintain mind share. This study aims to determine the performance of STP to keep the mind share of Mak Plengeh dried sponge products. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach. They collect data through observation, interviews, and documentation. They checked the validity of research findings using source triangulation. The results: (1) Segmenting includes: Kediri and Surabaya, aged 5-70 years, both male and female, alpha generation to baby boomers, the lower middle class, consumptive, like snacks, consumed by individuals and various events, consumers feel satisfied and make repeat purchases, teenagers order online while adults go offline (2) Targeting, distributors and packaging are a relatively large and profitable market segment, recruiting office employees who have skills, while the production department is inexperienced, the smiling character is a power of differentiation, the company provides training, briefings, and routine performance evaluations, consistently innovate its products, has a large production volume, provides good service, and is consistent with quality. (3) Positioning by providing testers, licensing information, and materials used so products can be purchased anywhere and responsive to the market.

Abstract

This study aims to produce e-magazine learning media based on a scientific approach for science learning material properties of light for 4th-grade elementary school. The development of this e-magazine uses the Research dan Development method based on the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 4th-grade students at SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and pre-test and post-test. The study's results based on expert validation questionnaires showed the feasibility of e-magazines from media, material and linguists experts with percentage gains of 96, 42%,82,50 % and 95% in the excellent category. The results of product trials in the one-to-one and small group evaluation showed this product obtained a percentage of 83,56% and 95,72% in the outstanding category. Implementation in learning increased the average score of students from 80 (pre-test) to 92 (post-test), and the average student assessment of the e-magazine obtained a percentage of 92% in the excellent category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the e-magazine learning media based on a scientific approach is suitable for use in the 4th grade of the elementary school in the science of the properties of light.

Abstract

This research creates e-book based-scientific on animal life cycle material at 4th grade Elementary School. This type of research is research and development with ADDIE model. The subjects were the fourth grade students of SDN Kebon Baru 09. The data obtained were collected through questionnaires and observation. The respondents in this research were instructional design experts, materials experts, linguists and the fourth grade students. The results showed that the feasibility of e-book based on a scientific approach were"very good" category with percentage of 96.25% from instructional design experts, 88.75% from material experts, and 92.5% from linguistic experts in the. The results of the trial to students through individual assessments were 91.25% and small group assessments were 98.52%. Based on the assessments of the experts and testing on students, it was concluded that this e-book based on a scientific approach was very adequate to be used as additional teaching material for science and animal life cycle material for 4th grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Abstract T The material of composition and invers function is one of the materials that require students’ active in the learning process to increase the students’ comprehension. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of the implementation of BELMASIK learning method on the students’ achievement in composition and invers function. The research approach was quantitative using Pre-Experimental Design that was One-Group Pre-test-Post-test. 39 students of the-tenth grade of OTKP 1, OTKP 2, OTKP 3 at Vocational High School PGRI 2 Kediri was choosen as sample. Treatment was conducted three meetings. The results of this research showed that there was improvement on the students’ achievement in composition and invers function. It can be seen that the averages of the pre-test score was 57,5385 (SD ) become 72,0513 (SD ) with the Sig. (2-tailed) value was . It means that the BELMASIK learning method was affected the students’ achievement. This research proved that the BELMASIK method could be applied in teaching composition and invers function materials to increase students’ achievement.
