Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of creative problem solving Instructional model to the mathematical problem solving ability of students in high school. The research method was experimental research with quasi-experimental design. independent variables used in this study is a creative problem solving Instructional model and direct instructional model. The dependent variable used is the mathematical problem solving ability. Determination of samples taken by random sampling technique with a sample of 78 consisting of 40 keas XI IPA 1 as experimental class and 38 class XI IPA 2 as a control class. The collection of data used mathematical problem solving ability test. the end of the analysis using the t test. The results showed that the value t (3.43) > ttable (1.665) mean H0 rejected or there are differences in mathematical problem solving ability of students that learned with creative problem solving Instructional model with the direct learning model. the difference is the mathematical problem solving ability of students that learned with creative problem solving Instructional model is higher than on mathematical problem solving ability of students that learned by direct Instructional model. Meaning that there are significant of the creative Problem Instructional model Solving mathematical problem solving ability of students. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to help the learners to awareness and get the victorious in  English-Awarnessin context. Because,  conscious learner palys an important rule to help the learners to improve their knowledge in mastery English as the second language. Through the comprehension of material  the learners are active to use English  in context.  Teachers give the big influence in teacing and learning process. Through the right concept of teaching it can improve the students awarness in English as the second language based on the material.On the other hands, the learners have good motivation to develop their knowledge, skill, and increase their capacity to mastery English in context. Abstract

Child creativity development is essential, children's creativity is developed by training children in certain skills according to their personal interests and given opportunities to develop their talents or talents. Hope to be achieved is to know the extent to which the influence of learning creativity, both internally and externally in Junior High School 20 Muaro Jambi. Testing data normality in a scientific research can be done by using Kolmogorov Smirnov Test (K-S Test) as a measure of the research instrument used as a benchmark in a study. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of the use of numbered head models to the writing skills of speech text of grade IX students SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi Academic Year 2017/2018. The type of research used is quantitative and analyzed descriptively. The population that becomes the unit of analysis is all students of class IX G SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi as many as 36 students. The study used total sampling. Data collection techniques were conducted with questionnaires and assignments. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained the average value of post-test that has been taught by using the head model numbered 81.25 very good while the average value of pre-test is 71.25 good. This is evidenced by hypothesis testing using t test, in testing the hypothesis obtained value t count sebessar 9.881 greater than the value of ttable with dk 35 of 2.042 which means Ha accepted. Based on the hypothesis test that the numbered head model can be used by the teacher in speech writing lesson.Keywords: Write, Speech Text, Numbered Head Models.

Abstract

One of methods to control the distribution of diseases is through effective preventive programs.  The Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour (PHBS) is often used for preventive action by controlling the community behaviour to minimize the interaction between human and agents. The implementation of PHBS accounted for 43,40% in Province of Jambi.  According to the data from Ministry of Health,  thr national implementation of PHBS amongst household was 54,85% and 53,89% in 2010 and 2011 respectively. This research is an analytical study using cross sectional design. Thr study aims to identify determinant factors associated with community behaviour.  Analytical survey refers to a study which deeply explore how and why the health phenomenon occurs.  This is later analysed using correlation and phenomenon dynamic analysis. The research indicates that there is no significant correlation among educational degree,  income,  family member,  knowledge and attitude towards clean and healthy living behavior. After conducting the test,  however,  the educational degree,  income,  family members,  and attitute are indicated as counfounding factors. It is recommended that inter sectoral collaborative works are essentially required in order to develop community empowernment, particularly using media and participatory action method to apply healthy behaviour. Keyword: Factor Analysis, The Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of students in a linear program material. The results of the research would be useful to optimize the mathematical ability of students to obtain good learning outcomes. In addition, this study may provide information to teachers how students' mathematical problem solving ability so it can construct a way of learning that can improve the ability of solving mathematical problems. This research is descriptive qualitative study aimed to describe the students' mathematical problem solving ability. Collecting data in this study conducted by way of mathematical problem solving ability test were then interviewed research subjects in accordance with the answers to the test. The Subjects of study is a class XI student of Mathematics 6 SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi first semester of academic year 2016/2017.Solving in mathematics is the process of finding the answer to a question contained in a narrative, text, tasks and situations in everyday life. Polya said solving the problem is just one aspect of higher level thinking as the process of accepting the problem and try to resolve the issue. In addition, problem-solving is an intellectual activity to seek to address the problems encountered with the use of the stock of knowledge already possessed. In such a condition is said to be a target problem-solving learning, students should be able to solve mathematical problems related to the real world. Based on the results of research on the analysis of mathematical problem solving ability can be concluded that the subject has the ability in solving problem solving. The initial step in the completion of subject matter that is to understand the problems presented by the question, the students write down what is known, asked and lack of any data to solve the problem . Indicators are still many students who have not been precise and systematic, mostly due to inaccuracies in the writing subject is not systematic problem solving. However, the subject has used the ability to think fast, clear and precise calculations in problem solving has been good.

Abstract

The life crises threatening Suku Anak Dalam (SAD)/ Orang Rimba are inevitable along with the difficulty of obtaining food and clean water sources in forests due to forest destruction and the widespread conversion of forests into plantations and industrial timber estates. Meanwhile, in the fulfillment of the necessities of life, SAD till now still has traditional livelihoods, namely: hunting and gathering, farming (cultivating), catching fish and selling honey and making handicrafts. This paper is a literature review with a view to knowing (1) Culture conected with the livelihood of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD); (2) Cultural-based Business Potentials in particular the livelihood of Orang Asli SAD; And (3) Life-based Life Skill Education needed by SAD. Based on this study, there are some potential SAD-based cultural enterprises / livelihoods, as follows: (a). Agricultural Enterprises, consisting of Wetland Farming and Dryland Farming; (B). Plantation Enterprises, consisting of Plantation of Hard Crops, Fruit Plantation, and Palawija Plantation; (C). The Livestock Business consists of 4-legged Animal Husbandry, Animal Husbandry of Poultry (Poultry Meat and Poultry Laying), Reptile Farm, and Beek Honey Farm; (D). Fishery Business, consist of Fishery Pond, Fishery of Karamba, and Ornamental Fish; (E). Handicraft Business, consisting of Wood and Rattan Handicraft, Leaf Handicraft, Grain-Based Handicraft, and Handicraft Traditional / Cultural Supplies; And (f). Business Trade Business Results. In connection with the potential Life Skills Education / Life Skill that can and should be given to SAD residents in facing the future is: (a). PKH of Agriculture Business Sector (a.1 Wetland Agriculture and a.2 Dryland Farming), (b). Abstract

Abstrak: artikel ini menuliskan tentang kebiasaan siswa dalam mendengarkan percakapan dalam bahasa inggris. Bahwasanya kebiasaan siswa dalam mendengarkan percakapan dalam bahasa inggris secara langsung dapat memperkaya pembendaharaan kata-kata bahasa inggris siswa. Siswa yang memiliki kebiasaan mendengarkan percakapan dalam bahasa inggris, secara otomatis pasti ingin mengetahui apa yang sedang mereka dengarkan sehingga siswa akan mencari kata-kata tersebut di dalam kamus beserta dengan artinya. Dengan kata lain, kebiasaan ini sangat menunjang dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris siswa. Guru dapat menggunakan percakapan dalam bahasa Inggris dikelas dan siswa mencari arti dari kata-kata yang ada dalam percakapan tersebut.Kata kunci: kebiasaan siswa dalam mendengarkan percakapan dalam bahasa Inggris, penguasaan kosa kata.

Abstract

Pattern foster parent is the overall interaction of parents with children, where parents stimulate their children by changing attitudes, behavior, attention, rules, discipline, reward and funismant, knowledge and response to the wishes of his son, as well as the values that are considered appropriate by the parents, so that children can be independent, grow and develop in a healthy and optimal. The role of democratic parenting applied parents make children become people who are willing to accept criticism and respect for others, have high self-confidence and is able to be responsible for their social life. Potential is the basic capabilities of a person who is still hidden and has the possibility to be developed if it is supported by the participation of the environment, exercise and adequate facilities, while there are four kinds of potential possessed by humans, namely, intellectual potential emotionally, spiritually and physically to be able to develop the potential of innovative ideas is needed, therefore i oneself and one's creativity can flourish if it is accompanied by various supporting factors such as family, school, environment and technology. Recognizing the potential of their children is one of the old rang effort in facilitating the development of children There are three models of counseling approaches that can be studied as a support and knowledge for the natural parents guide their children including counseling directive, non-directive counseling and eclectic approach.
