Abstract

Pronunciation is focus on how to pronounce and produce the word. Students should be careful in pronouncing the word because in English there are some vocabulary that have almost similar pronunciation but different meaning. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research is a method of finding out what works best in your own classroom so that you can improve student learning. Method which was used in this research qualitative method research. Based on the diagram above, the students’ score in doing the test in cycle 2 can be seen that the percentage of students’ vocabulary mastery after songs were they got 49,44 for pronunciation, 71,84% for spelling, 37,04 for Grammar, 68,80% for Meaning. From the explanation, it could be concluded that only two of the vocabulary components that reach the target of minimum standard score: Spelling and Meaning. Teaching vocabulary using songs is one of the alternative solution, that teacher can use to teach vocabulary to their students. It makes students more relax in learning new words and they can memorize them easily.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of school principals in fostering teacher professionalism at SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The research approach used was qualitative with a descriptive method, namely knowing and giving an overview of an objective fact and situation that occurred in the field, with research informants at SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The results of this study indicate that the management of the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu in fostering teacher professionalism is carried out well. This is indicated by 4 aspects, namely (1) in the planning aspect, the school principal has implemented efforts to improve the quality of education and teacher professionalism; (2) organizational aspects, the principal involves all school members to be involved in all forms of activity; (3) implementation aspect: in practice the school principal has a program implemented, namely providing opportunities for teachers to attend training, seminars, and activities related to teacher professional competence; and (4) evaluation aspect: evaluation really needs to be done to influence the level of achievement of the goals that have been set previously.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development, validity and effectiveness of plant diversity modules based on the use of medicinal plants by the Batak ethnic group of North Sumatra as a source of learning biology for class X IPA students. The type of research is Research and Development using the design developed by Sugiyono through seven stages. The research instruments are validation sheets, trial questionnaires and learning achievement tests. The results showed that the percentage of final validation increased, namely material experts 98.96%, language experts 87.5%, media experts 81.25%, small-scale student responses 88.21%, large-scale student responses 89.68% and biology teacher responses 96.05% with very valid categories. The average N-Gain Score on small-scale and large-scale tests is 0.72 and the percentage is 72.17%, which is quite effective. So it can be concluded that the modules developed are valid and effective to be used as biology learning resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of teacher activity, student activity and to improve student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian in narrative essay writing material. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The setting of this research was carried out at SDN Sidorejo 2 Barito Kuala Regency in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques in this study were qualitative data and quantitative data, which were obtained through observing teacher activities, observing student activities, and learning outcomes through evaluation tests. Data analysis with descriptive analysis techniques presented in the table is interpreted with the percentages and indicators of learning completeness determined. The results showed that the quality of the teacher's activities from cycle I was carried out with good criteria, cycle II was carried out with very good criteria. Student activities in cycle I reached the criteria of good, and cycle II achieved very good criteria. The classical completeness of student learning outcomes from cycle I and cycle II increased from 73% to 84%. Based on these findings it can be concluded that the Concept Sentence learning model can increase student learning activities so that the hypothesis can be accepted. It is suggested that the Concept Sentence learning model can be used as an alternative in increasing student activity which has an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aimed at making interactive student worksheets design, and to know the validity and practicality of student worksheets development on Islamic education and moral subject at State Vocational High School 2 Teluk Kuantan. It was a research and development (R&D). This research used 4D models (define, design, development, and dissemination).The product produced in this research was interactive student worksheets on Islamic education and moral subject using Flip Pdf Corporate App. Product validation was conducted by 10 validators consisting of stakeholders and IT experts that were tested to 32 students of XII TKJ grade at State Vocational High School 2 Teluk Kuantan. The questionnaire was used for collecting the data. The data were analyzed to know validity and practicality. Categorization of validity results used the technique proposed by Riduwan: 0-20 Invalid, 21-40 Less valid, 41- 60 Fairly valid, 61-80 Valid, 81-100 Very valid. The results of general validation by 10 validators showed that interactive student worksheets were 84.63% in very valid category. The validation results of the contents feasibility aspect were 84.66%, the presentations feasibility aspects were 84.57%, and the language assessments aspect were 84.66% in very valid category. While, in general, the tried out by 32 students showed that interactive student worksheets were 85.91% very practical to use in the learning process. The results of practicality in the display aspect were 86.87%, in the materials presentation aspect were 85.31%, and in the benefits aspect were 85.20% in very practical category. The validation results by 10 validators and tried out to 32 students showed that interactive student worksheets were very effective to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research which aimed to determine the influence of Problem Based Learning Model and Direct Instruction model to student’s learning achievement of students of Family Welfare Education Major. This research was using The Static Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research was conducted for three sessions. Data collecting technique in this research was using the instrument which was the multiple choice evaluation tests. Data analysis was using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic with covariance test. By the analysis result, it can be conclude that, (1) student’s learning achievement which taught by implementation of Problem Based Learning model is in good category, with average value is 81,47; (2) student’s learning achievement which taught by implementation of Direct Instruction model is in good category, with average value is 77,60; (3) There are differences in the learning achievement students of Family Welfare Education Major on Population and Environmental Education Courses taught by implementation of Problem Based Learning Model and Direct Instruction Model

Abstract

This research discusses the importance of strengthening national insights for students through early childhood education courses. Where these courses are mandatory subjects for tertiary institutions in Indonesia. The approach in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, documentation and interview techniques. The results of this study of 576 respondents were that 33.9% of students answered that they agreed with the existence of the caliphate and 68.6% of students disagreed with the existence of the caliphate, 0.5% of students agreed with the existence of suicide bombings and 99.5% did not agree with this action. Furthermore, 0.2% of students answered that they agreed with acts of terrorism and 99.8% did not agree with these actions. As well as the existence of banned organizations on campus that are affiliated towards radicalism by 5% and 95% of other students answered none. Therefore, most students (94.3%) agree with the strengthening of nationalism and 6.3% of students disagree with strengthening nationalism.

Abstract

The criminal act of car rental fraud resulting in the car being sold to another person. The formulation of the problem in this study is the implementation of the criminal act of selling car resale fraud to other people, the factors of the occurrence of a car rental fraud crime resulting in a car being sold to someone else and what efforts are given so that the car rental fraud crime which results in a car being sold is not widespread to society. As for the aim of the research, namely to find out the application of the criminal act of fraudulent selling of cars to other people, to find out the factors of the occurrence of criminal acts of car rental fraud resulting in cars being sold to other people and to find out the efforts given so that the crime of car rental fraud resulted in car not sold widely to the public. The results of this study indicate that the application of the criminal act of fraud, embezzlement, rental car is regulated under Articles 372, 373, 374 and 375 of the Criminal Code. Based on the several cases described in the previous section, the perpetrators of car embezzlement were charged with 4-6 years in prison. Factors causing the crime of car embezzlement include economic factors, ignorance of legal consequences, opportunities/opportunities and the weak factor of the rental party's security system. Efforts that can be made in overcoming the criminal act of embezzlement of rental cars are through preventive and repressive measures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on students' achievement. This research was conducted by pseudo-experimental research methods. The study population is students of SMP Country 36 Kerinci Class VIII Semeseter even for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research sample consisted of an experimental class of 32 students and a control class of 31 students. Data collection is carried out using instruments, namely student learning outcome test instruments in the form of essays. The results of data analysis and statistical tests show that problem-based learning models affect student learning outcomes. Based on the results of processing research data or by hypothesis testing so that a conclusion can be drawn about the effect of learning model factors on learning outcomes it can be seen that fcalculate = 12.879 with the value Sig. 0.000. Because the value of Sig. < 0.05, Ho is rejected, or in other words there is an influence of problem-based learning models on students' achievement. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to teachers, that the application of problem-based learning models be developed as an innovation in the teaching and learning process to create an active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning and able to improve students' achievement

Abstract

Based on observations of online learning at one of the universities in Sungai Full City, the online learning process is very different from the offline or face-to-face learning process, such as the way of delivering material and how to assess it. It is also of course that there are many obstacles experienced by educators and students during the online learning process. This study aims to see whether online learning using the Google Classroom application on learning outcomes is effective or not. Based on the results of research and hypothesis testing that has been discussed, it can be concluded that the data analysis used is a hypothesis test, where the hypothesis test is used to see the effectiveness of online learning using the Google Classroom application on learning outcomes. In this study hypothesis testing used a one-sample t-test. Based on the results of the study, the table t value < 0.05 = 0.000 < 0.05 so that it can be said H_1 accepted, it can be concluded that online learning using the Google Classroom application on learning outcomes is classified as effective.
