Abstract

Every individual as part of the environment is actually responsible for playing an active role in protecting the environment for a better quality of life. In this interest, the environment as a public space functions dynamically in supporting various activities. This is where the contribution of each individual is needed in maintaining environmental quality. One way is by maintaining the continuity of the existence of the biological environment in order to maintain the order of the ecosystem. However, facts on the ground show that understanding of the environment is still limited to natural knowledge compared to taking applicable actions through practice in the field. This is not only the responsibility of the world of education, but requires the collaboration of all parties. One of them is through the guardian program or the foster program rolled out by the Wanadri organization with conservation-based educational content targeting all people, especially the younger generation. This research was conducted using a natural-ethnographic approach, considering that environmental preservation efforts are an alternative in providing education by local cultural approach. The purpose of this research is to construct, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the program in fostering self-awareness and self-respect for each participant in various concrete actions. It is hoped that this program will become aspirational education, not only knowledge on the environment, but character building where each individual is part of a social life that is responsible in a sustainable manner

Abstract

The research aims to examine the title of honorary professor from the poles of academic achievement and marwah, emphasizing solutions from different perceptions. The article is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research concluded that Honorary Professor is an academic title of professor from a tertiary institution which is awarded as a form of appreciation to everyone from non-academic circles for having extraordinary achievements. The title of professor through the academic route must be obtained with difficulty, while for non-academic it is feared that it will be used for political-economic interests which can open transactional loopholes. The academic community must encourage the awarding of honorary degrees to run transparently and on target so that negative potential can be avoided.

Abstract

The research title of this thesis is the crime of environmental damage due to oil and gas mining. As for the objectives of the research, namely to find out the procedure for determining DPO suspects in the investigation of criminal conspiracy to commit narcotics precursor crimes, to find out the obstacles investigators from the Medan Police Narcotics Research Unit in investigating criminal conspiracy to commit narcotics precursor crimes and to find out the efforts of investigators from the Narcotics Research Unit of the Polresta Police Medan is currently investigating criminal conspiracy to commit narcotic precursor crimes. The results of this study indicate that criminal provisions for environmental damage resulting from mining are regulated through Government Regulation Number 27 of 2012, Law Number 4 of 2009, Law Number 23 of 1997 and Law Number 23 of 1997. Law Number 4 of 1982. Factors that cause environmental damage as a result of oil and gas mining include accidents, contamination of polluting waste, use of tools and materials that are not in accordance with standards and the presence of sludge produced. Efforts made to minimize companies conducting business activities without causing environmental damage in community areas include reforming policy regulations, being careful in making policies, establishing high environmental management standards, making mining policies with an emphasis on community aspects and providing optimal protection for the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Sri Pamela Cliff High Hospital. The population in this study were 60 non-medical employees at Sri Pamela Tebing Tinggi Hospital. Samples were taken as many as 60 respondents using saturated sampling techniques because the number of samples was below 100. The regression analysis method used was multiple linear regression and to test the hypothesis used the t test and path analysis test. The research data were analyzed or processed using the SPSS version 25 program. From the results of this study it can be concluded that work discipline has an effect on job satisfaction of employees, work motivation has an effect on leadership style on employees, job satisfaction has an effect on job satisfaction on employees, work discipline has an effect on employee performance on employees, work motivation has no effect on employee performance on employees, job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance, job satisfaction is not a mediating variable between work discipline on employee performance, job satisfaction is a mediating variable between motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

Ranggalawe figures are often used as figures in literary works. The character has an ethic that is loaded with Javanese ethics and can be exemplified from his stories. This study aims to describe the honorable character Ranggalawe in the novel Ranggalawe: the Mongol Conqueror by Makinudin. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literary sociology research. The research data is in the form of sentences in the novel with the data source in the form of a novel. "Ranggalawe: The Conqueror of the Mongols" by Makinudin. Based on data analysis, there are two types of respectful characters found in Ranggalawe's character: (1) respect for family and (2) respect for others. Respect for the family is shown by respect for the father and wife. Respect to others (respect shown by respecting guests and friends).

Abstract

Since ancient times, music has been a part of human life. Music has also been used in worship and religious ceremonies, just as the Israelites did in the Old Testament. To this day, music continues to be used for the purposes of worship. The Adventist Church has both pros and cons regarding the use of percussion instruments in worship. Various opinions have been expressed regarding the use of musical instruments in worship, particularly percussion instruments in worship in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The purpose of this research is to understand the perceptions of members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church regarding the use of percussion instruments in church worship. By doing so, it can increase understanding and awareness among members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church so that they can practice good use of musical instruments in worship. This research uses a qualitative method, which involves collecting data from books, research journals, literature, online media, and the Bible that are relevant to the material being discussed. The results show that some researchers agree with the use of percussion instruments in worship as long as they are used properly and do not distract from focusing on God. Those who oppose it see percussion as worldly music that is not suitable for worship because it can disrupt the solemnity. Percussion is not specifically described in theological terms as being prohibited, but the Adventist Church has provided guidelines for the proper use of musical instruments in worship. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of percussion music must be carefully and wisely considered, in accordance with biblical teachings and the Adventist Church.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Lightening the Learning Climate strategy on the ability to write Indonesian language description texts for Grade VII students of Gajah Mada Middle School, Medan, in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is a Quantitative Experimental Research with a One-group Pretest and Posttest research design. The population in this study were all students of class VII with a total of 32 students determined by the Saturated Sampling Technique. The data analysis technique used is the Normality test, Homogeneity test and Hypothesis Test. After conducting research for the pretest and posttest experiments using the Lightening the Learning Climate strategy, the average value of the pretest was 52.73 and that of the Posttest class was 77.73. Pretest and posttest data prerequisite test results stated that the sample was normally distributed and homogeneous. From the results of testing the hypothesis in this study, the "t" test was carried out at a significant level α = 0.05 obtained tcount> ttable (7.84> 2.03) thus H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of the Lightening the Learning Climate Strategy at Gajah Mada Middle School Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year

Abstract

Based on observations at SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci teachers in carrying out the learning process are menoton, fasif students, there is no interest in students to innovate so that learning is not effective. The integrative model is very important in the successful implementation of the independent curriculum. In addition, the low learning outcomes of students in learning and student learning activities need to be activated, this can be seen from the completeness of student learning which only reaches 40% and many students' scores are below KKM, for that it is very necessary to use better learning by using integrative models in learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) consisting of Precycle, Cycle I, Silus II and Cycle III. Each cycle ends with an evaluation. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, evaluation and reflection. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out then analyzed the findings in the field so that it can be concluded that The use of integrative models in improving student learning activities for the development of an independent curriculum can increase the learning activities of SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci students.

Abstract

Abstract This research is to find out the strategy for developing Islamic values ​​carried out by SMPIT Cordova Samarinda. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research, there is a strategy developed by the school in developing Islamic values ​​in students. Namely, the implementation of sunnah fasting, hours of habituation (monitoring children's activities during recess), reciting Al-Matsurat remembrance, mentoring, dhuha prayers, midday and afternoon prayers in congregation at school, getting used to sunnah prayers, carrying out Mabit (Night of Building Faith and Piety) and through motivational or reminder writings that are pasted or posted in certain places. As well as those who play an active role in the process of developing Islamic values ​​for SMPIT Cordova Samarinda students are all school teachers and even all school residents from teachers, administrative staff, security guards, canteen guards and cleaners also play an active role

Abstract

This research is qualitative, with a literature study approach, on the important role of education through nutritious food in raising public awareness of body and mind health. The food that is prepared or served at the table should be nutritious and balanced. However, the food that is prepared or served at the table should be nutritious and balanced. Unfortunately, human diseases are created by the food we eat every day, whether we realize it or not. Interestingly, the result of this study shows that the health of the body is closely related to the food consumed. Likewise with the form of the human mindset. Therefore, it is critical to pay attention to the proper type of food, method, and time to eat in order to have a positive effect on the human body and mind. Next, the Spirit of Prophecy provides insight into the impact of nutritious food on the health of the human body and mind, with the same outcome. This research also discovered that there are risks to eating nutritious foods in excess. As a result, we must exercise caution when selecting sustenance for our bodies, as our bodies are God's temple.
