Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the opportunities and challenges faced by offline tutoring in South Sulawesi, focusing on the impact of education policy, student behavior, and competition between offline and online tutoring. Through a mixed approach utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data, this study conducted interviews with tutoring managers, a survey of students, and statistical analysis of student participation and learning outcomes. The findings show that while offline tutoring has advantages in building better social interaction and motivation to learn, challenges such as the shift towards online tutoring platforms and restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic are significant obstacles. The significance of these findings suggests the importance of adapting teaching methods and developing effective marketing strategies to attract students back to offline tutoring. In addition, the implications of this study can contribute to the development of educational policies that are more responsive to learners' needs and improve the quality of tutoring. By understanding these dynamics, education stakeholders, including tutoring managers and the government, can take more strategic steps to strengthen the presence and relevance of offline tutoring in the current education ecosystem.

Abstract

In her book *"Women in the Qur'an"*, Amina Wadud attempts to make the interpretation of the Qur'an meaningful in the lives of women in the modern era. Interpretation here refers to the process of revisiting the words in the Qur'an and their context, in order to understand the true meaning of the Qur'anic text. Each interpretation seeks to convey the intent of the text, but at the same time, it also carries the prior context (perceptions, circumstances, background) of the person making the interpretation. Although each interpretation of a verse is unique, readers' understanding of the same verse may lead to different meanings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Manajemen Mutu Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA N 1 Jepon Blora. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk memahami secara mendalam peran kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, komite sekolah, dan orang tua dalam penerapan MBS. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, yang dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin strategis yang menggerakkan seluruh komponen sekolah, didukung oleh peran wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum dan kesiswaan dalam mengelola program pembelajaran dan pengembangan siswa. Guru terlibat aktif dalam inovasi pembelajaran, sementara komite sekolah dan orang tua memberikan dukungan signifikan dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan sekolah. Kendala utama dalam implementasi MBS adalah keterbatasan anggaran, rendahnya pelatihan teknologi bagi guru, dan partisipasi masyarakat yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi intensif antara semua pemangku kepentingan diperlukan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan mencapai mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik

Abstract

Modernization often gives rise to social disputes and crises related to cultural identity. The values ​​of communal unity and harmony that symbolize traditional society are increasingly being replaced by an individualistic and competitive paradigm that ignores the sociocultural dimension. Likewise, the judiciary, which functions as the basis of legal authority, has manifested examples of corruption, collusion and nepotism, thus requiring alternative models for conflict resolution that are efficient, fair and accommodating to the customary law system to maintain the sustainability of customary law communities. This research is primarily oriented towards explaining the implementation of Atoni Meto mediation and rituals as an alternative to resolving disputes outside the court in Kupang Regency, observing the characteristics of case disputes, and exploring the role of local wisdom in mediating Atoni Meto during dispute resolution. The research methodology used is qualitative, including data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and document analysis. The data analysis procedure, as described by Miles and Huberman, includes the phases of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and formulation and drawing of conclusions. The findings of this research are as follows: 1. Mediation and settlement of peace rituals in Kupang Regency are efforts that do not prioritize justice procedures, because the results cannot only be observed; This model has the potential to realize society's ideals in law, as enshrined in the fifth teaching of Pancasila, which advocates social justice for all Indonesian citizens, thereby framing justice as an integral and holistic moral value; 2. Mediation and the Atoni Meto Ritual as an alternative settlement outside of court are supported not only to avoid the effects of widespread law violations in Indonesia but also because of their sociological acceptance and alignment with local cultural paradigms; 3. Mediation and ritual practices in rescue resolution can be considered as social incentives based on the premise of conflict resolution that avoids favoritism, thereby emphasizing win-win solutions. In the midst of these diverse challenges, local wisdom emerges as a viable solution to maintain balance and harmony in the complexity of modern life.

Abstract

The socialization activity of making organic pots from cocofiber at SDN 2 Kampung Baru, Bandar Lampung, aims to increase the awareness of students and the community about environmentally friendly waste management. In this activity, students were invited to understand how to process cocofiber waste into useful organic pots. The methods used include counseling, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, so that students not only gain knowledge, but also practical skills in organic potting. This activity successfully increased students' creativity and gave them new insights on the importance of utilizing natural materials to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can encourage efforts towards sustainable education that provides benefits for the environment and the surrounding community.

Abstract

Transformasi pembelajaran anak usia dini di era digital menghadirkan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak positif dan tantangan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini, dengan menggunakan metode pengamatan literatur dari berbagai jurnal nasional dan internasional. Teknologi, seperti aplikasi edukasi, video pembelajaran, dan platform bold, memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan dampak negatif terhadap perkembangan sosial serta kesehatan anak tetap menjadi perhatian. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya pendidik dan orang tua untuk mendampingi serta memastikan penggunaan teknologi secara bijak, guna memaksimalkan manfaatnya dalam mendukung pembelajaran anak usia dini. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, teknologi dapat menjadi katalisator transformasi pendidikan yang inklusif dan relevan dengan tuntutan zaman.

Abstract

Munif Chatib's Multiple Intelligences education concept places more emphasis on The Best Process, not The Best Input, where superior schools are schools that focus on the quality of the learning process, not on the quality of the students' input. The goal of becoming an educated or special child is to emphasize teacher creativity and expertise in applying it, we can do this in the world of learning between teachers and students. The research methodology of this study is literature, data obtained from books and scientific articles are collected and analyzed regarding the interpretation of the letter An-Nahal verse 78 and its relevance to the national education. The results of the discussion of this study state that whatever the name of the learning strategy that increases students' competence, the Multiple Intelligences theory will be a very broad container, able to accommodate all existing method and strategy terms. The theory of Multiple Intelligences is also very in accordance with the Quran Surah An-Nahl verse 78 which explains that humans are born in a state of not knowing anything, Allah gives hearing, sight and conscience so that humans develop in line with growth and learning in order to become insightful, intelligent and have noble character as is the aim of education. Its relevance to national education is very close because the national education goals emphasize multiple intelligences and is in line with the National Education System.

Abstract

Revolusi industri memberikan inovasi teknologi berupa batasan fisik, digital, dan biologis di segala sektor serta dapat mengubah pola pikir masyarakat dalam kehidupan teknologi sehingga dapat mendatangkan peluang dalam bidang pembangunan ekonomi, sosial, dan pribadi. Akan tetapi, kecerdasan buatan yang diciptakan akan mengambil alih sistem kehidupan manusia. Hal ini menjadi tantangan di era digital 4.0, dimana kesiapan pengembangan sumber daya manusia sangat diperlukan dengan tujuan menganalisis dan mengkaji strategi pengembangan SDM. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa strategi pengembangan SDM yang sukses tidak hanya menggunakan pelatihan, pendidikan, pembinaan tetapi juga memerlukan peningkatan kreativitas dan perubahan pola pikir. Pola pikir manusia terbentuk dari pengaruh lingkungan sekitar serta pengaruh zaman revolusi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning habits taken from the answers to the Final Semester Examination on January 18, 2024, 2023 guidance and counseling students said that their learning habits still need adjustment in terms of managing time for learning and other activities. Self-regulation in learning and grit is considered important to understand how a person persists in a goal. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-regulation in learning with grit in guidance and counseling students at PGRI Semarang University. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational research design. The research data population amounted to 125 students which included 3A class as many as 30, 3B as many as 34, 3C as many as 29, and 3D as many as 32. While the sample was 29 from class 3C which was taken with saturated sample technique. The data collection tools used are psychological scales of self-regulation in learning and grit. Based on the Pearson product moment correlation test, the correlation value r count is 0.226. While the r table value for a sample size of 96 with a significance level of 5% is obtained at 0.201. Therefore, the value of r count 0.226 > r table 0.201, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-regulation in learning with grit in guidance and counseling students at PGRI Semarang University.

Abstract

The basis of this research is that, despite advances in the world, including the development of technology and artificial intelligence at SDN 64 Buntu Ampang Desa Salu Dewata Kecamatan Anggeraja Kabupaten Enrekang, educators are unable to use these tools and often deliver content in traditional ways. To improve the quality of education for students, teachers, and SDN 64 Buntu Ampang, the school must keep up with the development of technology and artificial intelligence. This is a challenge for SDN 64 Buntu Ampang to develop, so it is very important for schools to apply technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in the teaching and learning process. The research approach used in this research is qualitative research, which includes observation, interviews, field observations, and searching for research data on previous research publications that are in accordance with the topic that the researcher raises. The findings of this research show that educational institutions have felt the impact of technological advances and artificial intelligence (AI) and have utilized it to improve the teaching and learning process. One of the many conveniences and advantages of using AI is to make it easier for teachers and improve education standards. To improve education standards successfully and efficiently, education workers are finding that technological advancements and artificial intelligence are helpful in the teaching and learning process.
