Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that at Al-Ittihad High School, there is a lack of awareness of students towards the practice of religion. This study aimed to determine the principal's program in planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, supporting, and inhibiting factors from improving the professionalism of teachers at Al-Ittihad High School. This research is qualitative descriptive field research. They are collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation methods. Analysis of the data used is a qualitative analysis consisting of three components of analysis: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. All three are carried out interactively with the data collecting process as one cycle. The results show that planning is done by improving the quality of teachers, continuing education to a higher level, providing adequate honorarium incentives, involving teachers in training, workshops, seminars, workshops, and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integrated school management with PPK. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 Elementary School in Yogyakarta City (Wibraga). This research is a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this research are as follows: Firstly, the school management was integrated with the character education program at Wibraga, covering four functions; 1) The systemic-integrative planning by forming a development team for formulating PPK programs; 2) The organizing job description with three departments, the head of Curriculum and Teaching, ISMUBA and BHI, and Activities and Student Affairs; 3) The implementation of PPK programs was integrated through intra-curricular activities, the class based on co-curricular and extracurricular activities, Islamic and society life culture; 4) The controlling of PPK programs was realized in attitude books, school regulations, and external supervision with teachers, public relations, student parents, and local society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the context, input, process, and product of a substantive technical training program for preparing lesson plans for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. The study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product). The results showed that; first, the context dimension states that the implementation of education and training is by the legal basis for working; second, the input dimension includes the availability of reliable resources, adequate facilities, and infrastructure and financing borne by the government, so that its implementation can be carried out properly; third, the dimension of the process which includes the implementation of programs that are by the predetermined plans and designs; fourth, the product dimension where the teacher already understands the specified competencies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the importance of human resource management in schools by focusing its analysis on human resource management in improving the quality of education at Al-Islam Krian High School, Sidoarjo, East Java. The education system at every level relies heavily on human resources for the implementation of its programs. The success of education in schools is determined by the principal's success in fostering and developing educators and education personnel in schools to improve the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data collection techniques are carried out through; observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that planning in improving the quality of education was carried out by analyzing human resource needs and mapping positions according to the school's vision, mission, and goals, making job descriptions and job specifications. Existing human resources are then fostered and trained to improve the quality of their resources by those targeted by educational institutions.

Abstract

The principal needs training to have managerial skills to optimize his performance. Otherwise, several studies have shown the opposite. This study aims to examine the effect of exercise and managerial skills on principal performance. This study is field research with a simple path analysis design. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observation, and documentation study. This study shows that there is an effect of training and principal managerial skills on principal performance. This indicates that the more intense the principal attends training and has a deep understanding of training material, the higher the principal organizational skills are. The higher the principal managerial skills are, the higher the quality of the principal performance is, which in turn increases the rate of the school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of curriculum integration carried out by an Islamic educational institution in Islamic boarding schools. The research was conducted at the Baitul Fikri Arcamanik Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bandung. The study uses a qualitative approach with the CIPO evaluation technique developed through observation and data collection with documentary data and structured interviews with rating-scale techniques. The results showed that the percentage value of the application of the concept of integration was in line with the results obtained with students' summative evaluation value data. The data on the application of the lowest integration concept is in Mathematics with a percentage of 55%, and the average summative value of students is 73, while the highest data on the application of the concept of integration is in PJOK subjects with a percentage of 77% and the average summative score of 81 students.

Abstract

The educational institution of Al-Kautsar High School Lampung is an independent institution and carries out several business units. Researchers, in this case, research to find out about the implementation of business management education in Al-Kautsar High School. The type of research used is qualitative. They are collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation and testing the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results showed that Al-Kautsar High School is an educational institution capable of becoming an independent academic institution. This can be proven by business applications such as canteen, AK water, tutoring, outbound, and umrah. The income from these business units is used to repair, add, and maintain facilities and infrastructure. Private educational institutions have benefited from the implementation of these efforts.

Abstract

This current study aimed to analyze and comprehend the management of the madrasa's facilities and infrastructure to hold face-to-face learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study was conducted at MI Soebono Mantofani, which is located in Ciputat, South Tangerang. The study employed a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study followed the procedures: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The study results highlighted the importance of needs analysis before preparing facilities and infrastructure planning policy to procure facilities and infrastructure by available safety procedures. Besides, the school management system also endorsed the principal's critical role in preparing the recipes, organizing the facilities during face-to-face learning, and holding the maintenance process accountable. This study also provided implications for managing the facilities and infrastructure amidst pandemics and hopefully shed some light on other relevant stakeholders in facing the upcoming face-to-face learning in the middle of the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of principal managerial competence on teacher performance at senior high school Nusantara Plus. The method used in this study is quantitative. The samples in this study were all senior high school Nusantara Plus, totaling 35 people/respondents. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on the research results on the determination test, the coefficient of determination (R square) was 0.172. The R square value of 0.172 comes from the square of the correlation coefficient or "R", which is = 0.172 or equal to 17.2%. This figure shows that the managerial competence variable (X) affects the teacher performance variable (Y) by 17.2%, and 82.8% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the training and development program carried out by SMP YAMIS Jakarta in improving the quality of its human resources. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is done through data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that the training and development program carried out by SMP YAMIS Jakarta in improving the quality of its human resources was through the Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) activities which were carried out periodically by the existing schedule, involving teachers in seminars on learning methods that creative, innovative and fun, holding independent training in schools by inviting resource persons who are experts in the field, and programmed supervision carried out by school principals to employees regarding the achievement of planned educational goals.
