Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning with a reciprocal teaching model in grade VIII students in the first semester of SMP Negeri Muara Beliti, Musi Rawas Regency. The population in this study was all students of class VIII Semester I of SMP Negeri Muara Beliti, Musi Rawas Regency, which consisted of 8 classes. The sampling technique uses the cluster random sampling technique, which is sampling by means of a class draw. From the class draw it was obtained that class VIII.1 as the experimental class and class VIII.2 as the control class. Data on mathematics learning achievement is obtained using a test method in the form of an objective question. The data analysis used is a one-party t-test. The results of one party's t test showed a calculation (3,318) > ttabel (1,671) at a significant level of 5%, this means that mathematics learning achievement using reciprocal teaching methods is more effective than student learning achievement using conventional learning methods.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PMRI-based e-modules on class VIII SMPIT An-Nida' Lubuklinggau flat sided geometric material that is valid, practical and has potential effects. The development model used is ADDIE. Collection techniques were carried out by interviews, filling out questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. Based on this study, the results obtained were (1) the quality of learning media seen from the aspect of language validity was 0.8 including the valid category, the media validity aspect was 0.73 included in the valid category, and the material validity aspect was 0.82 including the very valid category; (2) The quality of the media seen from the practical aspect based on the teacher's response of 87.5% is included in the very practical category, the student response (one to one) is 83.3% included in the very practical category, and the student response (small group) is 90% included in the very practical category; (3) Learning media has a potential effect on student learning outcomes, as many as 20 students (76.92%) are included in the complete category and 6 (23.07%) have not completed the KKM set by the school at 70. The potential effect of this learning media is categorized as good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of learning mathematics in class VIII SMP Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau after using the pair check learning model based on ethnomathematics on word problems. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type. The population in this study were all class VIII of SMP Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau for the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample taken was class VIII.A Al-Jabar with a total of 24 students. The data collection technique in this study was a test technique by giving five questions to students. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes experience mastery of 79% with an average value of 82.71. Based on the research using the t test with a significant level = 0.05 with the results of the hypothesis test analysis showing the final ability of students with tcount (3,180) > ttable (1.713), so it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Ar-Risalah for the 2022/2023 academic year after applying the model Pair Check based on Ethnomatematics on Story Problems increases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the PMRI learning model and approach using collaborative methods on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Kota Lubuklinggau. This type of research was used in the form of a true experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control qroup design. The sampling technique is done by random or random. The instrument used is a description test. Data analysis techniques in this study used prerequisite tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence on the use of the PMRI approach using collaborative methods on student learning outcomes in class VIII SMP Negeri 13 Lubuklinggau City. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5%, diperoleh > (6,99 > 1,67). so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the PMRI approach learning model using collaborative methods on the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Kota Lubuklinggau for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes after being treated in the experimental class was 71.21 and the control class was 35.97.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematics learning outcomes of students class VII SMP Negen 3 Lubuklinggau after using the application of the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type. Negen 3 Lubuklinggau for the 2022/2023 academic year. The samples taken were class VII 4 with a total of 30 students. The data collection technique in the uu yahu research was a test technique, namely by giving students four questions. The results of this study showed that student learning outcomes experienced completeness of 86% with an average MLA of 71.92. Based on research using a t-test with a significant level = 0.05 with the results of the hypotensive test analysis showing the final ability of students with thong (2.434) > table (1.699), it can be concluded that students' learning outcomes in mathematics class VII SMP Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau for the 2022/2023 academic year after the application of the Indonesian realistic education approach (PMRI) to learning mathematics results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of The Power of Two model in mathematics learning can improve student learning outcomes in grade VI SD Muhammadiyah Bantul. This research is a qualitative descriptive classroom action research (PTK) which is strengthened by a quantitative approach, while the object of research is to improve learning outcomes in mathematics learning using The Power of Two model. This research was conducted in two cycles and went through four stages which include: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation and (4) Reflection. Data is obtained through observation, interviews, tests, doing questions and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the results of cycle I and cycle II learning tests, the approach in cycle I showed that all learning activities were not well enough to be carried out by students even though they experienced an increase in cycle I compared to pre-cycle and still at less predicate, because the average percentage was still below 75%. Cycle II has shown satisfactory results both from student learning activities have been in the predicate of sufficient, good and very good, while student learning outcomes have reached an average of 86% with a classical percentage of 90%, meaning that corrective actions for the learning process have been sufficient and reached the criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics teaching modules based on visual arts geometry to improve the mathematical reasoning skills of Rejang lebong district elementary school students that are valid. The research method used is development research with a 4D development model, which consists of Difine, Design, Development and Desimate stages. The instrument used to answer the research objectives is in the form of a validity questionnaire, consisting of a linguist questionnaire, a material expert questionnaire, and a media expert questionnaire. The data in this study were analyzed using the Aiken V formula. Based on the results of the validity analysis of the three experts, an average value of 0.913 was obtained which was included in the interpretation category of Aiken's validity included in category V > 0.80 with very high information or can be said to be valid.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes using the direct learning model of grade XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah Tegal for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK) This research was conducted in two cycles, the sample in this study was grade XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah Tegal. The results of the research obtained in this study were the average student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle was 58.24 then in the first cycle the average acquisition of student learning outcomes was 65.59 with classical learning completeness of 35.29%, in the second cycle the average acquisition of learning outcomes was 75 with classical learning completeness of 82.36%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the direct learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a literature review related to critical thinking skills using the PMRI approach. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR). The data explored are articles related to Critical Thinking Ability Using the PMRI Approach for the period 2010-2021. From a number of articles that were traced from sinta 1 - 4, 8 articles were found that matched critical thinking skills using the PMRI approach. Based on the results analyzed, it can be concluded that using the PMRI approach can improve critical thinking skills, students are very enthusiastic in learning using the PMRI approach. Creative and innovative teachers using the PMRI approach can make learning mathematics fun, more interesting, less boring and liked by students. In addition, the application of learning with the PMRI approach, as well as the classroom atmosphere can improve critical thinking skills, and also have a direct impact on improving students' critical thinking skills and better student characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a literature review related to fractional learning with the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The articles that were used as a source of review in this study were 9 articles related to the application and development of the PMRI approach to the material of fractions in the period 2017-2021. Articles come from reputable journals and are indexed by sinta and proceedings are indexed by scopus. From the results of the review, it was found that there were problems related to learning outcomes, understanding concepts, and the learning process on the material of fractions. The application and development of learning with the PMRI approach has a positive impact on the development of students' conceptual understanding of the fractional number material. Through the PMRI approach, students can develop fun learning situations, because learning activities are oriented to everyday concrete situations. The use of concrete media gives a good contribution in developing students' conceptual understanding of the fraction material. The developed learning trajectory can lay an important foundation in helping the development of the concept of fractions.
