Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students to solve mathematical problems in mathematics learning using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). The data collection technique used the test technique which was analyzed using the t-test at the significant level α = 5%. From the results of the post-test students' problem solving abilities with indicators of understanding the problem by 93% were in the very good category, the indicators of making a completion plan were 73% in the good category, the indicators of implementing the plan were 65% in the good category and the indicators of checking the results were 25 % with less category. After participating in learning using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI) the average post-test score was 70.35 with 5 excellent students, 12 good students and 6 good enough students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the mathematical critical thinking ability of students of class X SMK Negeri 7 Palembang. The sample of 32 students in class X Motorcycle Engineering 1. Data collection techniques using test questions in the form of description of linear equation system material two variables as much as 3 points. The results showed that in the ability indicators provide a simple explanation of 78.47% categorized as high, basic skill building indicators of 94.44% are categorized very high, indicators make further explanations of 90.27% categorized very high, indicators set strategies and tactics by 58.68% categorized moderately, and indicators concluded at 27.08% categorized as low. Meanwhile, the average mathematical critical thinking ability of learners was 73.81% in the high category.

Abstract

The aims of this research were 1) to determine designing process of developing teaching materials used the Indonesian Realistic Mathematical Approach for students grade V SDN Kertosono and 2) Produce the effective teaching materials using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematical Approach for students of SDN kertosono. This type of research is Research and Development Using the Instructional Development Model (MPI). The population of this research were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Kertosono, there 25 students as the sample. Data collection was carried out by using interview techniques, questionnaires, and tests. The teaching material was effective based on the completeness of learning outcomes and the positive response of students. In conclusion, practical to use as seen from the expert's assessment which shows that the teaching material has very good criteria with a percentage of 82.95%. There were 22 students who showed positive responses and 3 students who showed negative responses, the student learning outcomes test showed 84% of students scored above the minimum criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes after applying inquiry-based learning on the subject of surface area and volume of cubes and blocks. The method used is a quasi-experimental method in the one-shot case study category. Data collection techniques using tests / essay questions. Then the data were analyzed descriptively. After the research was conducted, the student learning outcomes at the first meeting were with an average of 82.3, and at the second meeting had an average value of 84.5, and data analysts on the final test had a class average of 86.5 who entered in very good category. So, from the results of the study it can be concluded that inquiry-based learning has a positive influence on learning in the classroom, because it can improve student learning outcomes and make students more active in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a context-based mathematics learning media in Lubuklinggau using a valid Adobe Flash application. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. This model consists of 5 stages, namely: the analysis stage (Analyze), planning (Design), development (Development), implementation (Implementation), and evaluation (Evaluation). Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire sheet and a walkthrough. Based on the results of the assessment analysis by three experts, namely: linguists, material experts, and media experts, it showed that the Lubuklinggau context-based mathematics learning media using the Adobe Flash application met the valid criteria with an average score of 4.05.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the completeness of learning outcomes in the application of number card media in mathematics learning for grade II students of SD Negeri 4 Megang Sakti. This research method uses an experimental research method with a quasi-experimental design with the categories of pre-test and post-test group. The subjects of this study were 11 grade students of SD Negeri 4 Megang Sakti. The data collection technique uses a test technique in the form of 6 essay questions. The data were analyzed using the "z" test formula. Based on the data analysis, it is known that the results of the pre-test with an average value of 41.591 and the final test (post-test) score of 83.364. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, then zcount is compared with zcount with a significant level of α = 0.05, obtained z_hitung 11.036 and z_table 1.645, then z_hitung 11.036> z_table 1.645 with this, H_a is accepted and H_O is rejected. So it can be concluded that the application of the number card media for the learning outcomes of grade II SD Negeri 4 Megang Sakti is significantly complete.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a QR Code Student Worksheet (LKS) using a valid and practical Lubuklinggau City context, as well as potential effects. This research is a development research using a 4D model. This model is carried out by researchers consisting of 4 stages, namely: define (defining stage), design (planning stage), develop (development stage) and disseminate (dissemination stage). Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.9 with a total of 32 students. From the results of the study obtained a valid learning media with a validity of 3.24 and practical with a practicality result of 96.22%; and has a potential effect on student learning outcomes where 29 students (90.62%) are included in the category of having completed, while there are 3 students (9.37%) who have not completed the Minimum Learning Completeness (KBM) determined by the school, the minimum student gets a score of 65 The potential effect of learning media is categorized as very good.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on adobe flash by using the context of the Women's House Lubuklinggau City on valid and practical trigonometry material. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this study include validators (language, material and media experts), mathematics teachers and class X students in the one to one and small group test. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of the analysis of the validation questionnaire assessment by the three validators, it shows that the learning media developed meets the very valid criteria with a validity result of 81.45%. While the results of the analysis of the practicality questionnaire assessment by teachers and students showed that the learning media developed met the very practical criteria with practicality results of 95.31%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties of learning mathematics using online methods atSMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a quantitative descriptive type of research. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire distributed to students in the form of a link and interviews with a class VIII mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. The results in this study are: 1) Implementation of mathematics learning using the online method using the WhatsApp application, 2) analysis of technical difficulties with a total average of 83.87%; analysis of the implementation of learning a total average of 83.11%; and analysis of the difficulty of external factors with a total average of 85.35%.

Abstract

This study aim to make a didactical design on the concept of building a cube material in the 5th elementary school based on Learning Obstacle (LO). The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the DDR (Didactical Design Research) method which includes three stages, namely prospective analysis, metapedadidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. The prospective analysis stage identifies the Learning Obstacles experienced by students in the cube material, including: 1) Ontogenic Obstacles, such as a lack of student interest in learning mathematics, only 50% of students in the class who like learning mathematics and lack of student mastery in prerequisite material; 2) Didactical Obstacle, namely the learning method used is still monotonous, the learning media is less varied and the teaching materials used are incomplete; 3) Epistemological Obstacle, namely students do not understand how to determine the volume of a cube, students do not understand problem solving strategies related to unit cubes. Based on the findings of LO, a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) was compiled which was then designed a hypothetical didactic design on the concept of building cube material which includes four learning objectives, namely determining the area of ​​a square, analyzing the elements of a cube, determining the volume of a cube, and completing problems related to the volume of a cube using the unit volume. The didactic design is applied by the method of snowball throwing and flashcard games. After the didactic design was implemented, the results of the LO of the final identificational test were decreased compared to the LO of the diagnostic test. The didactic design is one of the effective learning alternatives in reducing the appearance of LO in the concept of building a cube material in the 5th elementary school.
