Abstract

The abundance of farmland in Pamekaran Village affects the many peoples who become farmers. In cultivating agricultural land and entering the time of harvest, the farmers of course try to keep the result of the harvest has a good quality one of them is by using pesticides. However, the use of pesticides among farmers has not been all done with the correct procedures that can have a major impact on health and the environment. Therefore it is necessary to counsel so that farmers can know and understand about the impact of pesticides and product quality control so that the harvested yield will have the best quality and can also minimize environmental damage.

Abstract

Program pemerintah kota Surabaya adalah terciptanya kondisi daerah tinggal (kampung) yang nyaman, aman dan ramah bagi proses tumbuh kembang anak dalam dukungan masyarakat yang menjamin pemenuhan hak anak dan mengupayakan perlindungan anak secara optimal. Pemerintah Kota Surabaya meyakini bahwa untuk menjadikan Surabaya sebagai Kota layak Anak Yaitu Kampung Pendidikan Kampung arek Surabaya (KP KAS) yang memiliki 7 (Tujuh ) karakteristik: (1) Kampung Kreatif; (2) Kampung Belajar ; (3) Kampung Asuh; (4) Kampung Aman; (5) Kampung Sehat; (6) Kampung Literasi dan (7) Pemuda Penggerak Literasi. Kelurahan Sawunggaling, Kecamatan Wonokromo , Kota Surabaya masuk dalam kategori kampung Madya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah Bagaimana menyusun Portofolio Lomba KP-KAS yang baik dan benar, sesuai dengan kriteria lomba KP-KAS Tahun 2018. Tujuan Pendampingan yaitu Kelurahan Sawunggaling, Kecamatan Wonokromo mampu menghasilkan Portofolio Lomba KP-KAS yang tersusun sesuai dengan ketentuan Pemerintah Kota Surabaya mampu meng-eksplorasi potensi dan keunggulan-keunggulan yang dimiliki, serta mengungkap-kannya dalam Portofolio Lomba KP-KAS secara optimal serta mampu menyelesaikan penyusunan Portofolio Lomba KP-KAS tepat waktu. Hasil dari pendampingan tersusunya Portofolio Lomba KP KAS Kategori Kampung Madya, Kelurahan Sawunggaling, Kecamatan Wonokromo , Kota Surabaya tepat pada waktunya

Abstract

Aksara Ulu belum banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat di kota Lubuklinggau sehingga kegiatan pelatihan ini perlu dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memperkenalkan aksara tersebut pada masyarakat terutama generasi muda melalui jalur pendidikan seperti sekolah yang merupakan sarana efektif dalam melestarikan budaya dan nilai-nilai kearifan local suatu masyarakat dengan melibatkan para guru yang terlibat dalam kelompok Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Sejarah Lubuklinggau untuk tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) yang merupakan agen dalam menyebarluaskan warisan budaya termasuk Aksara Ulu. Hasil PkM ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi sekolah-sekolah untuk mengintegrasikan Aksara Ulu ke dalam muatan lokal seperti yang telah dilaksanakan di beberapa dearah seperti Bengkulu dan Bandar Lampung. Metode dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini agar dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan maka untuk penyampaian materi dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang dikombinasikan dengan metode demonstrasi dan latihan. Dari hasil evaluasi diketahui Dari jumlah peserta sebanyak 28 orang, diketahui peserta yang belum bisa membaca aksara ulu ada 11 orang atau 39,28% Peserta yang bisa menulis aksara ulu ada 22 orang atau 78,57% Peserta yang bisa membaca dan menulis ada 10 orang atau 35,71% .

Abstract

Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan pendidikan di Desa Kerta Dewa ini dilaksanakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra dari Pemerintahan Desa Kerta Dewa, yakni rendah motivasi masyarakat dalam mendukung anak-anak desa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dilaksanakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarkat (PkM) dengan metode penyuluhan tentang pentingnya pendidikan sebagai penentu masa depan bangsa pada masyarakat Desa Kerta Dewa. Dari keseluruhan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan pendidikan ini menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik, diantaranya: Pertama, peserta yang terdiri dari masyarakat Desa Kerta Dewa menyambut dengan positif dan antusias pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini. Kedua, bertambahnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta tentang pentingnya pendidikan untuk anak-anak mereka, hal ini ditunjukkan dari pertanyaan dan tanggapan mereka pada sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab bersama narasumber pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Dan ketiga, besarnya harapan peserta agar intensitas penyuluhan atau kegiatan sejenisnya sering dilaksanakan di desa mereka.

Abstract

Unbalanced and irregular diet can lead to a variety of degenerative diseases. Foods that are high in carbohydrates, fats, and proteins will increase blood glucose levels in the body. Increased blood glucose will trigger diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this community service is to provide information and knowledge about regulating healthy eating patterns for the elderly and measuring blood glucose levels. Counseling with oral presentation methods and direct communication methods. The method for determined blood glucose levels is by using a rapid test. The results showed that the provision of counseling regulating healthy food consumption had a positive impact as indicated by the decrease in blood glucose levels in the elderly Posyandu community in Rw 18 Perumnas Mojosongo, Surakarta, Central Java, before counseling and after counseling.

Abstract

Fruits and vegetables consumption are important for our health but its consumption is low especially for teeneger. High school student are the vulnerable age group for consumption of fruits and vegetables. Their eating habits will give the impact for their growth, development and health in the future. SMAN 1 Telukjambe students tend to eat fast food and rarely consume fruits and vegetables. The purpose of this activity is to motivate and increase the awareness and comsumption of fruits and vegetables of the participants. The method used in this activity was counseling using food model and questionnaire on pretest and posttest with category of knowledge, preference, and consumption of 28 students SMAN 1 Telukjambe Timur. The result of this activity will be descriptive analysis. The result showed that after counseling, students knowledge about fruits and vegetables were increase by amount 80%. Students preference of fruits were 92% positive and students preference of vegetables were 79% positive. But in contrast, their consumption just 4% for fruits and 25% for vegetables. So, it is expected to increased students awareness and students consumption of fruits and vegetables after this activity.

Abstract

The community service activity through the counseling of Financial Technology knowledge in Pamegarsari village aims to resolve the problem of partners from the Pamegarsari Village Government, namely the large number of people affected by cases of fake transactions and online loans and online shopping fraud. To overcome these problems, we as a lecturer in the Accounting Study Program at the University of Pamulang carry out Community Service using counseling methods about the importance of Financial Technology knowledge in managing family finances. From the overall implementation of PKM can provide an understanding of Financial Technology through this counseling showed excellent results including; first the participants consisting of housewives in Pamegarsari Village welcomed positively and enthusiastically in the implementation of this PKM activity; Secondly, the increased understanding and knowledge of participants about the importance of financial technology in managing family finances is indicated by their questions and responses when conducting discussions with speakers at the time the activity took place. And third; the high expectation of participants so that the intensity of counseling or similar activities is often carried out in pamegarsari village.

Abstract

The low interest in reading and writing students because of the easier access to the internet and the rapid flow of technology that reaches into the countryside. This results in MA Darussalam students who prefer watching, playing games, and playing social media than reading books or writing literary works. This creative writing training activity aims to foster interest in reading and writing adolescents, especially MA students, fostering language skills for MA students, especially in terms of creative writing, contributing knowledge in the field of language skills to the community in Batola District. This community service method is carried out by giving lectures to students about the importance of reading and writing culture and material about creative writing. Then students are trained to write short stories based on their daily experiences. The results of this activity showed a very good response from students and increased student interest in reading and writing. Evidenced by the many questions asked by students in the question and answer session, increased student knowledge about literacy culture, and requests from students and schools so that this activity continues on a regular basis.

Abstract

This community service activity is a socialization activity in collaboration with PERBASI Bangkalan Regency which is expected to contribute to improving the quality of the learning process, especially in sports subjects. With the dynamic streching socialization in the basketball game, it is felt appropriate as a useful thing and contributing to partner schools especially SD Negeri Keraton 3 Bangkalan. As for the results of this community service activity is an increase in new understanding oriented to the understanding of the implementation of dynamic warming (streching) in elementary school students before doing sports, increasing student ability in small basketball games namely line tiggy, Dribble Knockout, Team Dribble Relays (Team Dribble Relays ( Speed ​​Dribble & Ball Handling), 4 Pass to Score, Bull in the ring. Based on these results it can be concluded that the socialization of dynamic streching in basketball games for elementary students is considered good and effective, and the students' responses during the activity give a positive response.

Abstract

The learning component is needed to support an effective and efficient learning process. One of those components is the media. Some studies find the lack of use of media in teaching English to early childhood, especially the teaching of vocabulary. Therefore, this service aims to equip teachers' skills and creativity in making English learning media by using items in the surrounding environment, especially used materials such as cardboard, bottled water, paper, straws, etc.. The method used in this service is training. Training was given to English teachers in Jalancagak Village, Subang on August 10, 2019. As a result, the teacher was basically capable and quite creative in utilizing used materials as learning media. However, this must continue to be motivated and developed so as to create innovative and attractive learning. Some of the instructional media produced are snakes and ladders, letter boards, and car puppets. Learning media from used materials, however, has advantages that are not inferior to technology-based learning media. In addition to the low cost, the rules of utilizing used goods are easy and familiar to students. In addition, teachers can also develop students' creativity by inviting them together to make media from used materials.
