Abstract

Community service aims to: 1) motivate the Mazroillah Islamic Boarding School teachers to compile their own LKS assisted by QR Codes according to the needs of students and teachers who have their own characteristics; 2) Creating worksheets that suit the needs of teachers and students; 2) Utilizing the potential of teachers to use the QR Code-based worksheets that they created; 3) Produce interesting worksheets; 4) train and familiarize teachers with writing in any form, whether scientific, non-scientific, or writing worksheets; 5) prepare teachers to be able to follow IT developments. The problems faced by teachers at Mazroillah Islamic Boarding School are as follows: 1) lack of reference sources (literature); 2) difficulty in creating LKS with the help of QR Code; 3) Difficulty in determining the right material with the help of a QR Code. The solutions offered in community service activities are carried out by: 1) Providing opportunities for teachers to review the Competency Standards / KI and Basic Competencies (KD) contained in the 2013 KK to be used as the basis for writing LKS; 2) Making teachers independent in using learning resources and not always depending on the school; 3) Provide motivation and enthusiasm that teachers are able to produce quality worksheets so that they can compete with book publishers; 4) Train teachers to have writing skills, both writing scientific works and worksheets; 5) provide opportunities for collaboration between STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau institutions and partner schools in terms of library utilization

Abstract

This activity aims to provide socialization and training to the people of Batu Urip village in making hand sanitizer by utilizing citronella in the city of Lubuklinggau. This activity was carried out from September to October 2019 which included socialization, training, coaching, and evaluation. This activity was attended by 23 participants from PKK, Batu Urip sub-district, North Lubuklinggau II. The socialization provided included the benefits of citronella as a basic ingredient for making hand sanitizer, the activity continued with a demonstration of making hand sanitizer. Then continued with training on making hand sanitizer from citronella. Based on the results of community service implementation activities, there is an increase in community skills through observation in terms of material selection, manufacturing process, and product results, namely from 41.67 (initial skill value) to 91.67 (final skill value).

Abstract

This activity aims to provide training and skills to the community of the Nikan Jaya village in utilizing plastic waste into handicrafts with high economic value. This activity was carried out from March 2020 which included socialization, training, coaching, and evaluation. This activity was attended by 20 participants consisting of groups of young women and housewives. Participants came from the village of Nikan Jaya and its surroundings. This training uses a Forum Group Discussion approach. The socialization provided includes the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment, various potential uses of plastic waste, activities followed by demonstrations of making handicrafts. Then proceed with training on making handicrafts. The results of the survey showed that the participants were very enthusiastic and gave a fairly good response during the activity as well as after. In addition, there is a request to continue coaching until the participants are really skilled at making handicrafts.

Abstract

Gerakan 3M merupakan gerakan yang dicanangkan pemerintah dalam upaya memutus penyebaran Covid-19 dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Pengabdian Pada Masayarakat yang dilaksanakan di kelurahan Talang Ubi Selatan, kabupaten PALI ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan kepedulian civitas akademika Universitas PGRI Palembang dalam membantu pemerintah mensosialisasikan gerakan 3M. Dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan yaitu penyuluhan bahaya covid-19, penyediaan sarana mencuci tangan yang disertai edukasi cara mencuci terutama bagi anak-anak yang belajar mengaji di TPA, serta sosialisasi dan pembagian masker kepada masyarakat umum di seputar kelurahan Talang Ubi Selatan dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Dalam situasi dan kondisi saat ini, kesadaran seluruh masyarakat untuk patuh dan taat dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan memiliki peranan yang signifikan dalam upaya memutus penyebaran COVID-19

Abstract

Tujuan akhir kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan para perangkat desa/kelurahan tentang penulisan surat dinas yang baik dan benar berdasarkan aturan dan kaidah PUEBI. Pelaksanaan pelatihan selama dua hari, dari tanggal 31 Mei s.d. 1 Juni 2021 bertempat di ruang pertemuan Kecamatan Jayaloka. Metode yang digunakan ceramah, tanya jawab, disikusi, dan latihan. Sasaran pelatihan adalah para perangkat desa/kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Jayaloka Kabupaten Musi Rawas, berjumlah 13 orang. Temuan awal dari hasil analisis data dokumentasi surat masuk dari desa/kelurahan yang tersimpan di pengarsipan surat pada kantor Camat Kecamatan Jayaloka ditemukan masih banyak perangkat desa/kelurahan yang kurang dan belum memahami tata aturan penulisan surat dinas, khususnya dalam penggunaan kaidah kebahasaan, seperti pemilihan diksi, penggunaan huruf kapital, penggunaan tanda baca, dan penulisan kata tugas. Umumnya para perangkat desa/kelurahan dalam membuat surat dinas hanya copy paste dari surat yang sudah ada. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan selama dua hari menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan kemampuan para perangkat desa/kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Jayaloka Kabupaten Musi Rawas dalam menulis surat dinas yang baik dan benar berdasarkan aturan dan kaidah PUEBI. Hal ini didukung dari respons peserta pelatihan menunjukkan respons yang cukup baik, ada 69,23% peserta tuntas menyelesaikan kegiatan pelatihan sampai penyelesaian tugas akhir/latihan.

Abstract

Every day residents of Lubuklinggau City produce 158.2 tons of household waste. The concept of reuse, reduce, and recycle is still the best way to manage and handle waste with various existing problems. Household waste is divided into 2 parts into organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste is waste that easily decomposes such as food scraps, vegetables, dry leaves, which can still be processed and utilized. Organic waste can be processed into organic fertilizer. The methods used in this service are lectures, discussions, demonstrations and practices of processing household organic waste into organic fertilizer. This activity received a very good response from residents and the Ponorogo Village, Lubuklinggau City, because after participating in the activity, residents received information and were able to process household organic waste to be used as organic fertilizer. In addition, this activity helps the Lubuklinggau City government overcome the problem of household organic waste in Ponorogo Village, Lubuklinggau City and is expected to be a model for other families.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program that we propose is expected to help the Cawang Baru Village community in general and the Adelia IRT group in particular in the manufacture and marketing of natural Growth Stimulating Substances (PGR). Cawang Baru Village located in Selupu Rejang District is an agricultural area that produces many types of agricultural crop commodities. Besides these facts, there is also a lot of people who love flowers, especially mothers. So far, farmers and ornamental plant hobbyists in Cawang Village are new to cultivating or multiplying plants in addition to using fertilizers but also using PGR sold in the market, the price of manufactured PGR in the market is quite expensive and a little difficult to find in conventional agricultural shops because of its low content naturally can have a negative effect on the environment. Considering the costs involved in buying chemical PGR and its negative impact on the environment, making your own PGR by utilizing natural materials that are around is the right solution to deal with the problem of costs and environmental impacts. To achieve this goal, we used the method of observation, socialization, training and continued with direct practice. The long-term goal of this activity is to create business opportunities for the PKK Adelia group by utilizing natural materials as PGR whose existence is needed by farmers and ornamental plant hobbyists. The output targets of the activity are (1) increasing partners' knowledge, skills and income, (2) producing natural PGR products. Publication output target: service results published in community service journals.

Abstract

Workshop activities on making learning media for mathematics learning media based on Video Scribe as an alternative online learning for teacher working groups produce simple teacher-made learning media that can be used during learning during the current pandemic. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis on the practicality of the workshop on making video scribe-based mathematics learning media as an alternative online learning for the teacher working group for the first indicator, a score of 56 was obtained with a percentage of 73.68%, for the second indicator a score of 64 was obtained with a percentage of 84.21%, for the third indicator a score of 60 was obtained with a percentage of 78.94%, for the fourth indicator a score of 59 was obtained with a percentage of 77.63%, for the fifth indicator a score of 70 was obtained with a percentage of 92.10%, for the sixth indicator a score of 66 was obtained with a percentage of 86.84 %, and for the seventh indicator, a score of 72 was obtained with a percentage of 94.73%. Overall, the average score of the practicality of the workshop on making video scribe-based mathematics learning media as an alternative online learning for the teacher working group was 84.01% in the good category.

Abstract

Community service that will be carried out is in the form of Disseminating the Educational Values ​​of the History of Islamic Civilization to the Giriyoso Village Community, Musi Rawas Regency to Build a Society with Islamic Character in the XXI Century as an effort to increase understanding and implementation of educational values ​​in the history of Islamic civilization in order to form Islamic character, especially citizens. Giriyoso village to prepare to become a civil society. This service is based on looking at current conditions with the large influence of foreign culture, increasing crime, drugs, juvenile acquaintances, a preventive effort is needed in this case, it is necessary to socialize character education, especially those that lead to Islamic teachings, considering that in Giriyoso village the community is predominantly Muslim. Through this socialization, it is hoped that it can provide information to the participants on the importance of understanding the historical values ​​of Islamic civilization which can be implemented in daily life in the family environment and other social environments so as to be able to create a conducive, safe and peaceful community situation and condition in accordance with demands in civil society. The material delivery system in this socialization activity is to use the lecture method. Furthermore, at the end of the activity there is a question and answer session with participants related to the material that has been delivered by the presenter. This question and answer activity aims to see the extent to which participants understand and are enthusiastic about the activities carried out.

Abstract

The objectives of the present study are to: 1) find knowledge and understanding of the concept of CAR related to guidance and counseling, 2) define professional competencies that support profession as a prospective counselor/professional counseling teacher, 3) systematically and scientifically understand the stages of classroom action research related to guidance and counselling. The research activities apply the lecture, discussion/question and answer method, and training in writing class action research proposals related to guidance and counseling. Seminars and training for writing class action research proposals related to guidance and counseling involve guidance and counseling students in semesters 4, 6 and 8 of Guidance and Counseling Program of FKIP UNCEN. The results of the study found that students who answered ‘strongly agree’ were 22.86% and those who answered ‘agree’ were 77.14%. In conclusion, all students who attend seminars and training in writing CAR proposals related to guidance and counseling can understand and comprehend well the importance and benefits of CAR related to BK material for prospective guidance and counseling teachers in schools.
